That rear quarter shot looks so awkward with that massive surface there.. Evora is more elegant.

Agreed, the Evora's rear end is an impressive bit of work, particularly given that they've managed to squeeze some +2 seats in there. It's a pity that Alfa has gone slightly too far towards "dramatic" rather than elegant/pretty/neat/all of the above.

This car is so beautiful... It looks like the niece of a 458 Italia!

Well I`ll probably never be able to afford this one, but I hope the upcoming Alfa Spider looks close to this!

I love Alfas... Too sad that they currently only sell 2 models in germany...

Pure car porn. If this makes it to NL at a decent price, I know what my next car will be. :)

Will be around €70.000,-...
~240Hp, 350Nm at a dry weight of 895Kg.

I really like it, but it's a bit expensive.

Love the way the 4c looks, but I can't get over how expensive it is for a car with what's basically a 4 cly engine from a 25k hatch.

I'm sure the performance will be adequate, but £50k for a 4 pot seems a tad optomistic.

Erm I'm just going to jump in with this.

The front lights have gone from being in glass housing to some form of carbon based ugliness. WTF?

I know everyone else have mentioned it already but I've just only noticed at Geneva :(

You've only just noticed at Geneva as it's only just happened at Geneva - the whole plastic surround thing has shocked pretty much everyone. I can't for the life of me think why they've decided that would be preferable to covered units.

WTF is going on with that cheap, nasty, matt black plastic **** round the headlamps?

I hadn't noticed that.

Makes it look like a woman with commedy stick on eyelashes.

Is it possible that it's some sort of performance version or something, or did they actually go crazy and put what look like crappy import tuner headlights on it for kicks?

That front light housing ruins the look for me. as my eyes go straight to the front light housings, followed by a disappointment headshake.

Alfa has had unhoused lights before on some models so I guess they are going for that angle but the first thing I would do is paint the housing the colour of the body and it would look way better.

It's turned out to be rather ugly indeed, the concept had slightly better lines IMO.

Which ones?

I can think of Alfas with separated light units (Brera, 159, SZ), but never before one where they've clearly had a space for some proper lights but put aftermarket-style plastic things in their place.

I've been struggling, for the past several hours, to find something good to say about those lights... and failing miserably.

I like quirky light designs, but those LEDs seem placed there in scattershot fashion... there's no real rhyme or reason to their placement.

If TVR could make it work on basically a zero design budget... why can't Alfa?

Don't worry guys. I'm sure as soon as this awesome little car hits the market, there will be aftermarket replacements to make the headlights more conventional(like the concept).

Then It'll be perfect.

Edit: Damn, is that matte white in the pictures above?!

Maybe it's the new color of the car or the different backdrop, but the 4C looks pretty decent in white. Those headlights are garish though.

Yup, slightly out of my price range.

No Launch Edition is 70kEuro the others will be starting around 50,000-65,000euro

as for the headlights, I likem. I think about how they will look at nite. look like a Spider driving by
