Got a copy of GT6, ask questions here

Yes it is you guys complained that the race was to long and PD saw this and decided to make them shorter so you would be happy.
I would reply to this in a witty manner but it would go straight over your head and you would keep being ignorant so I won't bother.

Now can we just get back ontopic?

Endurace races have been around since GT1 its a tradition that should of never been taken out. Whats next you can pay for gold trophies if you dont want to race that event.

Who said it was taken out? Nobody can prove that yet 100% so stop assuming things then stating them as fact, it's really hard to read, and detracts from the whole point of this thread.

PD are idiots, they add back b-spec so we can use b-spec drivers in endurance races and they take endurance races out.. Lost for words. career mode again looks horrendous with rolling starts chase the rabbit driving (Not racing this isn't). GT 5.5 it is. Thanks for saving me 60 bucks. I'll get this used and for 10 bucks.

- Only one upgrade for breaking, which is called racing brakes or something similar. Noticeably improves the brakes.
-Standards are still pretty much the same, except for the lights thing at night.

Were you able to upgrade headlights with driving/fog lights in the "Other" section of GT AUTO? I see we can place headlight covers on the Capuccino. Is it possible to color the lights on the C7 stingray like this?

This is 2013, to say most console gamers don't play online is borderline retarded.

Sorry if that was a little harsh...

You are the retard.. again gt5 sold 12 million, there is not 10% of that who has ever raced online. A study not too long ago showed only 20% of console gamers play online.

Umm no, who is you guys? Also b-spec can now take over and you can save mid-endurance.....this alleviates this totally. Moronic decision pd once again.

This is now the second time I've had to come into this thread and steer things back in the right direction, and seeing as I won't be as polite next time: the very next person to call someone retarded or to insinuate that anything is retarded, call someone a moron or idiot or to insinuate anything else is either will be taking a two-week all expenses paid vacation from GTPlanet.

Believe what you wanna believe, bro.

All I know is, most games coming out these days are heavily online-orientated.

Wherever you got that 20% figure from, I'm sure it's a reliable source.

Back on topic now guys...

Yes in GT5 there was a trophy for completing endurance race series. But the highet trophy for career is completing S series which we already saw which proves my point anything else you would like to state incorrectly so i can prove you wrong.

Just like Turn 10. "If people wants to do endurance races, go online". People that play offline want's to 100% the game you know, I'm glad PD did this.

Plus, they don't have the time to sit down and race for 24 hours, that's crazy.

I also agree. Races that went over 2 hours were a bit pointless in my opinion. I think the longest I ever did was one that lasted 2:45.000. And that was in GT4 were you could fast forward when you gave the car to the A.I. I still didn't do the 24h ones. That's just ridiculous.

I understand the realism, but I don't find it fun to spend that amount of time in one race, considering that my average game sessions last no more than 2 hours. Even if you could save at the middle of it, I like doing different things during my gaming hours.

Bottom line, I'm happy with these endurance, but I'm sure PD could've made them a little longer. At least 45 minutes. 24 minutes is what my average Arcade race lasts.

Maybe they can add long endurance races with seasonal events for those who really want them, and the rest of us will be happy that will get that 100% completion.

I think people are starting to miss the point of this thread i haven't seen any pictures or questions about anything else than enduro for the last 10+ pages can we please go back to asking usefull questions about the game or is this just going to be a moaning thread.

Back on topic now guys...

Like what??? What games are online oriented? Mass effect? Skyrim? MAdden? GT? Only Games like Call of duty are more online oriented. Most people still play offline single player. Just look at the xbox live number of players fro each game online compared to the sales....More poeple always offline.

I have to agree with you. I hardly played GT5 online. I can count the times I went to an online lobby with just the fingers of my hands. Offline will always be the the way to truly enjoy a game for me. And as long as games have that option, I will take the most out of it.

And as far as I've experienced, most games still lack an online option. A big portion of the ones that have it is still just a small added bonus.

Certainly, if you ignore the other 1192 cars he hasn't tried yet
No.
Even if the RM option was not available for a car, the icon to RM it would still be visible somewhere under EXTERNAL MODs. Just like the other tab or the flat floor tabs are there for cars that don't have those options. There is no mention anywhere for RACING MODs other than the EXTERNAL MODs icon you click to enter that section. Therefore, at this moment, RMing does not seem to exist.

As as I see it, GT6, unpatched, is basically GT5 Spec II with:

+ 15% more cars and 20% more tracks
+ Improved driving physics
+ Marginally better graphics, sounds
+ Simplified interface
- Shorter and easier career mode, less credit availability
- Less features (course maker, B-spec, telemetry, 3D, etc, but also small things like lack of fuel/tire consumption on free run, no more tire load indicator, etc)
- Same usual PD inconsistencies (framerate, weater/time only on selected circuits, standard cars, limited amount of customization and not on all cars, etc)

PD are clearly placing their bets on online, DLC and updates, because as a whole GT6 is currently in a worse state than what GT5 was at launch, in my opinion.

Thx for the reply.

That less feature list really hurts :( No fuel/tire tests in free run (how are we supposed to do race setups now?) and no course maker day 1 (I loved GT5s)...

Dumb "chase-the-rabbit" AI...
Rolling, single file, spread-out starts. No standing starts.
Short, simple, dull career mode.

What in the world is Kaz thinking? Does he even ever listen to anyone that plays GT?
