So. . . should I be getting excited over the fact that this isn't the market copy?
No. Carbon is a videogame!Carbon is a metal...
He flipped through the manual and I didnt see any pictures but it did look a bit different to RDK's manual.
All you need to see is right there in his post. he linked the whole instruction book. 3rd link down, right side, arcade mode.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gran_Turismo_(series)
"Although Gran Turismo has an arcade mode, most gameplay derives from its simulation mode. Players start with a certain number of credits, usually 10,000 (18,000 in Gran Turismo 3; used cars were not present in this game), which are used to purchase vehicles from several manufacturer-specific shops, or from used car dealers, and then tune their car at the appropriate parts store for best performance. Certain events are open only to particular types of vehicles. In order to enter and progress through more difficult races, a license-testing system has been implemented, which guides players through skill development. Players may apply prize money won in events to upgrade their existing car or buy a new one, collecting a garage of vehicles."

Same manual it seems as RDK's pictures. Also '0' on disk..
Just checked, mine also has that, it also has TV screen adjustment pictures on the next page.
Awesome, im so glad we have not seen the final builld for damage!
Do you all remember the quote from Kaz recently in Top Gear Magazine???
"There is a sickening crunch of metal and glass and possibly bone. Unidentified pieces of car spray across the tarmac. Kazunori Yamauchi, sitting alongside me, laughs. "Big crashes!" he cheers. "All the time!"
It's thicker since it's multilanguage (not unusual in EU), and RDK just didn't scan the legal infoThat's the real thing. Notice how thick the manual is compared to RDK's? And I could see the legal info at the back. That's more like it!
We've heard about broken glass from other places (I forget in all the confusion), and we know about stuff like debris from previous demos. Of course, what it all means, or does not mean, I do not know.I wouldn't look too deeply into what he writes, in a magazine, for top gear fans.
Writers for magazines tend to big up whatever they are writing about to make it more interesting to read, and top gear LOVE to make things sound as dramatic as possible.
this is great tekken and RDK are the same person, never seen a video from RDK yet and only pictures, only videos from Tekken, both have copies from a preview copy as stated by a person that told us in his first post a couple pages back, nobody saw that guy with the first post saw he can't answer any questions and that it is a preview copy, prob a sony or PD planted person.
I told you there was something wrong, remember me ?
No one has a Full Game Review Copy yet I say !
This also explains why even Jordan was refused a copy....
I'll raise my hat for Kazunori if he kidded us all and we actually get Hockenheim and what else....
They're not building it in real life, they are just making a model. The damage model has to be a better quality in the final release for sure.
Or how could redbull design a race car in the game engine and will build it now in real life.
If they build that car in the engine first, they will have tested how it will behave in crashes.
The analogies are perfectly in line with what you are trying to say. You said a big company wouldnt make such a big mistake and we gave you situations where big mistakes are made by big companies.

This is the result of Damage consequences ( mechanical ).
You need to repair your engine/chassis !
Damage continues after the race!

That's just the same as the Chassis refresh in GT4, lots of crashes may shorten the life time of the chassis. But I doubt you would need to repair it.
Old?
It's satire.
