I told you lol the leaked versions arent the final build of the game, thats a preview copy lol i am happy...

???...Told me? Or were you talking about someone else?

Because all I said so far was "****, this is getting good" [MJ popcorn gif], "Still can't get in the A Spec, RDk" and the tekken appears to be getting that error as well with link....

pro settings for arcade, yes. we have that option in prologue, it's still arcade. Arcade won't have a damage model both internal and external like it will for the main mode, that's why GT has arcade mode.

I would like to believe you, however I would be glad if you had a link from PD stating the differences between arcade and career.

Oh and have there been any damage videos from the career part of the game?

I did wonder why the box was diffrent, maybe it's because it is some kinda demo you guys have.

I've never seen an all black cover before anywhere apart from on these forums

The picture of the page which had the HUD "explained" on had the features that exist on the HUD in a list covering more than half the page. It made no reference to what they do or where they are on the screen, just that they exist.

It could be real, but there's forgettable and then there's unprofessional.

Yes, you might indeed create the manual early on. But you wouldn't finalise it months in to the development process of a several year project. You touch it up and finalise it at the end, when all the features are completed. That manual doesn't even have any placeholders for pictures.

I update our manual when the game is being mastered, you do the literature at the end when the screens you are given are final. You wouldn't print one that looked like that. Anyone who'd accept that as a final submission would need shooting. If that's the final manual I get in my GT5 next week, I'll eat my hat and everyone elses hat, even the Mexican's with the really big hats made out of cheese. [/homer]

Ive seen several manuals of that quality for lower importance games, but to me the lack of images diagrams (which are often the latest thing to get added) in the pictures display indicate it was either rushed or is an incomplete 'working copy'

I agree.

Yeah this right here is important, no matter what country you live in, there always has to be legal info in the game book, and there's no page numbers, page 1 does give copyright info tho. I dunno, I mean it's definitely GT5, what version we wont know till we get it in our hands, I mean who knows, maybe you can put rims on standards /prays to the gaming gods.

Sigh....
I have the gt5 prologue manual right here.
It is equally sober, equally short, has ZERO PICTURES.
And contains the same kind of info.

all you fanboys grasping at straws are meanwhile missing that it says you can indeed fully import your psp garage.

I would like to shed light on the versions some users have. They are copies of GT5 but the first run that was pressed wasn't the gold version. The version that was pressed was preview code. Don't ask me how / why I know because those questions are not something I will answer.

Thanks

Ok, first post from you in here. Would be nice if you were telling the truth. Or rather, it would be nice if some of the features that these copies lack and that have been heavily discussed on the forums during the last week would actually be in the game. I want to believe you.

Theres titanium pads under the wing to stop them getting damaged.

That could be a good point I didn't think of that thanks for clearing that up, Wonder if F1 cars in GT5 will give the same damage effect that would be epic beyond all scale :D

Thanks RDK for great pics :)

But wow this means this is not retail version. It is probably Nov 3 or october version not the Nov 24th

All you need to see is right there in his post. he linked the whole instruction book. 3rd link down, right side, arcade mode.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gran_Turismo_(series)

"Although Gran Turismo has an arcade mode, most gameplay derives from its simulation mode. Players start with a certain number of credits, usually 10,000 (18,000 in Gran Turismo 3; used cars were not present in this game), which are used to purchase vehicles from several manufacturer-specific shops, or from used car dealers, and then tune their car at the appropriate parts store for best performance. Certain events are open only to particular types of vehicles. In order to enter and progress through more difficult races, a license-testing system has been implemented, which guides players through skill development. Players may apply prize money won in events to upgrade their existing car or buy a new one, collecting a garage of vehicles."

this is great tekken and RDK are the same person, never seen a video from RDK yet and only pictures, only videos from Tekken, both have copies from a preview copy as stated by a person that told us in his first post a couple pages back, nobody saw that guy with the first post saw he can't answer any questions and that it is a preview copy, prob a sony or PD planted person.

Or maybe he's just someone who's trying to get our hopes up then be disappointed when the game actually comes out and this turns out to be the full retail version. All of this is just speculation though, nothing's for sure yet.
