Big 👍 for all the effort. Well done!

Sound certainly has improved quite a lot (going over the curbs in the kart for instance), but, how can I put this in kind words: I guess that's something Kaz knows it's still not quite there yet ;)

But I won't judge too early, I'm keen to see how in works when actually playing the game.

Uploading the Nascar video on GTP's youtube account as we speak!
EDIT: Miura is up

Thanks Alba and Denur for a first proper representation of the sounds, the Jag XJ13 sounds great although I'm sure it doesn't even have a rev limiter in real life.;)
Well the ability to blow up your engine when over-revving ( especially on the older cars without a limiter ) will probably never be included in GT.
Hearing those two-stroke karts I expected my doorbell to ring anytime soon to deliver a pizza, nice job guys.

Good work!
But the sounds are turning out just slightly better than prologue in my opinion.
As I wrote in another thread, the "synthethic" quality of the sound is noticeable, especially during downshifts, which to me don't sound that great (exception so far: Karts).
Unfortunately with these old and rare cars it's hard to get some real-life examples. It will be clear when videos of more popular cars will be uploaded.
I'm not trying to downplay the improvements that there do have been, but personally so far I'm not that positively impressed.

A few more pictures: The blue flag (we did see a white flag also today), the result of some nice donuts I did yesterday and one of Zocker racing a TT event on GT5 Prologue (which he won, and should, because he also won the German GT Academy and went to the finals).

Hi Denur, indeed i won my GT5P-Final today in a realy close last race against MADFORCE. :)

Damn that Miura sounds just beastly. I can't imagine how people would want to play this game with any music whatsoever...
I always played GT without music.music is for arcade Games, the real music for the simulation games like GT are the engine sounds!!

I'm now posting them on GTPlanet's youtube account now!

EDIT: Beaten :P

The downshifts are always going to sound "synthetic" unless you get a G25/7 and manually do the clutching yourself, because it's a computer blipping the throttle, same every time, like computers tend to do.

Am I the only one that can't see the latest video, just get a white screen.

Edit: Nevermind, restarted firefox, video works now.
