That Supra video is epic. Keep 'em coming :D

Cheers for putting the effort in to get these vids, and with good quality sound too 👍

Pro physics, everything off and hard tires I believe, tires is the only thing we played around with.
Thanks:tup:

Physics are really the only thing Iam worried about since I see people saying its like the GT Academy Time Trial and then others like the Inside Sim Racing guys say its like Prologue, but has better feedback and just feels better.

So with what you have driven what do you compare it to?

Rendering The Impreza Sedan WRX STi on everybody's favorite track... that's right... Tokyo R246 (hides).

I'm really annoyed that the Zonda R sound I have doesn't work at all, I think the headphones jack got pulled a bit so I have almost no sound from it :( I'll still upload the video but with this audio file it might look (or sound should I say) really weak. So I'll just keep the loud Gamescom background noise I guess :)

After that I got the BMW M5 on Top Gear doing all kinds of crazy stuff testing the smoke effects and going after the AI.

I cant hear the windnoise , I hope they don't cut it out:nervous:
Oh you can, trust me. Me and Denur played with the headset I took with me and the sound is really nice when you can actually hear it :P

As for the physics, in my opinion it's a refined version of the TT demo, the grass is less icy I'd say but still quite and it slows you down more than I remembered. What impressed me the most in this build and I already talked about it is the force feedback which I really liked.

Also one big thing I forgot to mention and perhaps others have. What's really nice this time around is that before you can actually select a track and a car when you select the Arcade Mode is gives you 3 options "A B C" or "C B A" I don't remember but basically what it was is a difficulty selection (Beginner, Intermediate, Professional) and for example most of the people on the floor used Beginner and what that does is it puts all assits on, put your transmission on automatic and put the racing line on. It saves you a lot of time. Whenever we'd play we just had to select Pro and it'd put the game on Manual no assists right off the bat, the only thing you needed to change is the traction control because for some reason it would stick to 5, hopefully that's fixed by retail release!

I even heard "it's too hard, you spin on every curb". lol

It's quite good!
Now, the 1.000.000$ question: will they change the damn sounds of the F430, 458 Italia and F40?

Excellent sounding ZR1. Sounds pretty close to the real thing from what we car hear in that video (over the loud music:yuck:).

Also thanks for posting that ZRI going around the ring, I enjoyed that :)

Just for comparison:

As for the games low end freqencies, I know im gonna be sorted thanks to some subs and...

[SIZE="-2"]"The ULTRABASS PRO generates musically consequential subharmonics that can be set to one or two octaves below the lowest frequencies present in the original signal. Based on waveform analysis, the generated tones harmonize perfectly with the original sound, giving you big, fat low end, while the integrated limiter effectively protects your system from overloading. [regarding the GT5 video]

Could be better (especially in the internal view) but it's proportionally closer to the real thing than the other cars in previous videos posted.
The main thing is that in cars with fullly refined interiors and sound proofing, the engine should sound more muffled than that.
Forza appears to recreate this better.

Sounds pretty much just like Prologue to be honest. It's definitely not bad though since the Prologue Z06 sounded good. I just think some of you are overreacting. It's barely been tweaked IMO.

So far so good. I am a little worried that the sounds are being enhanced by the distortion in the audio recordings. It's pretty sad when I think of distortion as an enhancement to the normally very sterile and tame sounding cars that PD puts out. I also worry that PD won't go back and touch up the sounds of the standard cars. It may only be cars that were modeled recently that are taking full advantage of what appears to be improvements in sound reproduction by PD.

Overall, I am very encouraged by what I am hearing and even if it does only apply to newer premium models, that is a hell of a lot better than nothing at all.

Yeah I know it's not stellar and some aren't as good as others but I did what I could with it!

No man, it wasn't your fault, you did a great job, don't worry!;)

Supra: that's a weird one, sounds similar to the real thing, but way too smooth(and that's with clipping!), so it almost comes out wankel-ish :P
Corvette: Again, similar to the real counterpart, but the low end rumble and the mid roar is kinda wrong in tone and texture, also throughout the rpm range there's the GT's known syntheticness...

ditto.

p.s. Forza comes closer regarding the ZR-1.

Reposting bits of my impressions from last page so people don't miss it.

Impreza Sedan WRX STi footage is done uploading and processing as we speak.
Uploading 330 P4 right now (you'll laugh at this one I think xD)

Thanks for you opinion on the physics. From these videos it looks like I have nothing to worry about atleast I hope I dont. LOL

The NASCAR sounds are actually pretty good. There was a distinct difference between onboard and exterior sound that is very realistic. Can't wait to hear them fly back from track side cameras. Wonder if they'll sound anything like this on a roadcourse

I guess that is the last video I will post today, because I will go to bed in 15 minutes. lol
