Gran Turismo 6 coming to PS3

New circuit @ Ronda in Spain?

Amazing Place.
It could seem that it acts as a photomode scene as well as one of the areas for custom tracks, like tuscany in gt 5:

Though I could be wrong, I've only been there once.

*Edit*: Look at the bridge in the lower right.

Very excite.

These are without a doubt the 2 things that got me excited the most.

• Players can create their own personalised custom car in the game.
• Massive scenery spanning several tens of square kilometers.

I mean, holy...

Here's IGN's Story on the announcement:

Sony has announced that Gran Turismo 6 is in development for the PlayStation 3 with a targeted released window of 'Holiday 2013'.
The President of Polphony Digital and creator of the franchise, Kazunori Yamauchi, made the announcement today at an event celebrating 15 years of Gran Turismo at Silverstone in the UK.
"I'd like to announce today that we are developing GT 6 for the holiday season this year on the PlayStation 3," he revealed. "The game engine will be renewed for GT6, we'll be cleaning it up, making it smoother for the future.
"The rendering engine will be completely renewed for GT 6, there will be a revamped Physics Engine, new suspension, tyre and aerodynamics modelling."
Developing...

Sorry, a new PS3 game within the launch window of PS4 can't really get me excited. The cars look great, the background still looks like...well you know. At least in the picture of the GT-R on Autumn Ring.
It'll be a good game for sure, but I can't see myself playing a lot of PS3/360 as soon as the consoles launch.

Kinda underwhelmed. Would've preferred a "GT6 on PS42 anouncement, even if that means 2014...

Yup, I guess there will still be standards but just with smoothen out graphics, no more jagged fenders, pixelated livery, etc. But still, the standards won't look as good as premium, like you said about the Countach.

It can't be a standard though, it has a detailed interior. If you pause the video at the very first moment that the video shows it you can see that there is an interior. Interiors don't exist on the standard cars. At all.

I love how in the GT website album Ferrari force PD to put a massive disclaimer beneath their cars unlike any other company.
