Gran Turismo 6 coming to PS3

I guess I will have to patiently wait for news regarding actual game content i.e. the A-Spec (if it's still called that) series of races. If they change the entire paradigm of single player, offline races from one-and-done to something that holds genuine replay value, that would be a significant improvement.

It can't be a standard though, it has a detailed interior. If you pause the video at the very first moment that the video shows it you can see that there is an interior. Interiors don't exist on the standard cars. At all.

Yep. None of the cars in the trailer are standard. As is evident by the dealership screen shots.

Sorry, a new PS3 game within the launch window of PS4 can't really get me excited. The cars look great, the backgroudn still looks like...well you know. It'll be a good game for sure, but I can't see myself playing a lot of PS3/360 as soon as the consoles launch.

Kinds underwhelmed. Would've preferred a GT& on PS4 anouncement, even if that means 2014...

There is still E3.

PD/Sony did a very good job this time, not hyping the game too early. Perfect timing this time! They learned a lot from the GT5 disaster.

Seems like standards look more premium like this time! I take my crirtics back and will be happy to get this game.

And those images from the cars are an preview from what we can expect from the PS4 :)

Just one thing: They're unveiling their game, and they are not going to put Standards anywhere, what you see is premium. Countach, Alpine and Audi premium. Get in.

In the midst of all this hype, I'm going to have to comment on something everyone seems to have forgotten - the sounds. Will they finally improve? With all the new and improved stuff (the physics, etc. PD isn't that incompetent after all, it seems!), PD might finally step up their game with the sounds as well, but we'll see...

Dont care much, so long as they nail the SLS AMG GT3, Im happy forever.

I guess they upgraded the few standards shown in the trailer to premium status.

But I'm pretty sure there will still be standards, I mean how large of a HDD space would the game need to be able to have 1200 premium cars.

Where do people come up with this stuff?

Why would they do that for something not to far away?

Said, GT Academy July.

GT Academy announcement: Will be done on GT6, therefore a GT6'ish demo.

So that's how i 'came up with this'

Photo 42/47 confirms we aren't just getting the GP layout at Silverstone, but International and National too.

Would be nice to get the pre-2010 F1 layout...

By the looks of things, it looks fantastic! I'm excited for this new addition to the Gran Turismo series. Details, such as new aero parts, new tracks, new cars, etc., is great stuff. Can't wait for it! Also, with GT6 coming to the PS3 is pretty dang awesome. The sounds... well, I don't have too much of a problem with it in GT5, but nowhere to go but up with them in GT6.

I can't see a lot of the pictures or ANY of the videos as I'm at school, but I'm questioning logic, here -

People are saying that because There's 1200 cars ("only" 60 more than GT5), there won't be much new content.

Ok, but what about all of the duplicates? I don't think PD will be so daft this time, as they aren't so rushed and over-ambitious. And I don't think they'll do standards again, and from what I've heard, there haven't been any standard cars ACTUALLY SHOWN in the videos, so how do you know ere will be any...?

I haven't seen the videos myself, so I may be wrong. But PD is smart - I don't think they'll include PS2-gen content at this point.

I'd bet that there's AT LEAST 200-ish new cars, likely more.
