Gran Turismo 6 coming to PS3

More massive HD interiors. Alot of details.

Note the softer lighting, smoother edges and soft realistic shadows.

I know this doesn't really matter to anyone else but as someone who is very interested in being a videogame designer, I have to ask:

Is that maya they use for car modeling?

Good evening GTPlanet, looks like meat is back on the menu boys! :mischievous:

Just brewed up a huge mug of builder's tea before I tackle the 80-odd pages since I last logged on. I just hope the whingers that littered the news comments section are absent :yuck:

Oh and KinLM, what d'ya think of Cleverbot now huh? :sly:

AFAIK they use a highly customized version of Maya. Most of the advantages in using this program is in the custom tools/plugin they've internally developed for their needs over time.

If you're just starting out with 3D modeling try using Blender, which is as powerful, in addition of being free, multiplatform and open source!

There was some pictures taken in PD offices leading up to GT5 release showing them working in Maya, they have been using it since GT3.

OK, wow, I wasn't expecting that! Guess I better upload this KTM footage then... :D

I guess we are almost in the same hour...Here at Spain 3:48AM...I was waiting for you to post anything!!

Go for it man!

Tell us about the physics.

Does it feel natural?

How about the FFB, is it more accurate and sensitive?

And the sounds, did they change them to realistic or are actually the same?

Thank you in advance. 👍

3ds max and Maya student versions are free too. There arent any real differences between student, educational and commercial versions.Besides the licenses. The name of each pretty much explain the license.
Im not a fan of blender.. or milkshape either.

I'll have it on the news blog in an hour or so, along with my impressions of the physics. Thanks for your patience, guys, it has been an absolutely crazy day and I'm exhausted.
