Same here. Regarding the sound of that particular video, I'm hoping that it's just an early build and/or placeholder sound. (If that's even possible)
pCARS did it.

Good to have you back Simon, told you this was the greener side of the fence. But where's your cheery disposition? I think you left it on the other side. Also as I say, my smile turned to a frown when I saw 'Sunday Cup' again on one of the photos.
Is it weird that I can't stop re-watching the gameplay vid?

Just a demo, don't forget. The sounds maybe placeholders.
Don't we already have that in GT5?Did anybody noticed the camera shaked when shifting?
Could be...
EncyclopediaI think you're setting yourself up for disappointment guys. I hope I'm wrong though.
Well, I had 3 hours of sleep last night. My eyeballs are burning. Great day GT fans!!! Can't wait for that Q&A with Kaz.
AFAIK they use a highly customized version of Maya. Most of the advantages in using this program is in the custom tools/plugin they've internally developed for their needs over time.
If you're just starting out with 3D modeling try using Blender, which is as powerful, in addition of being free, multiplatform and open source!

Funny enough you can find this exact statement regarding GT5rologue and GT5, let's face it PD dropped the ball AGAIN and apparently have no desire to bring their sound design up to modern standards.
Oh ok, lets pray then
Dat suspension though..
There's a vid eight posts above yours that shows it...not that different really and plenty of tyre squeal - that should irk a few more peopleI like the look of the new menus. Everything looks good really. Sound is still pretty bad though. I don't know how the KTM sounds in real life but I'm sure it's not like that. Still no drivetrain simulation either. A shame.
Let's wait till Jordan publishes his Q&A before we jump to assumptions.Funny enough you can find this exact statement regarding GT5rologue and GT5, let's face it PD dropped the ball AGAIN and apparently have no desire to bring their sound design up to modern standards.
Oh just stop already. I'm going to believe the sounds are just in the demo version, while the good ones are in development. Haven't you heard of *alpha-builds*?
Better?Um, shouldn't the ? be dropped from the thread title now?
