My point is, "Hey PS3 owner, you like GT right? Are you considering getting GT6? Of course. Well guess, what? There is a demo of GT for the PS4 on you GT6 disc. You want to play it? Of course you do. Well, you are going to have to buy a PS4 to do that. So are you more likely to buy GT6? Sure. PS4? More than you were before."

This simultaneously drives sales of GT6 and PS4. Of course the demo would be offered on the PSN at some point, but initially, it would be exclusive to the GT6 disc. You may dislike this tactic on impulse... but I wonder how many would get a PS4 just to play that demo...

That's actually a really nice idea, you should work for Sony's PR department. :dopey:

That's an ugly move, more so we know Kazunori Yamauchi is said to be a perfectionist, what they are working at right now should be their highest priority. People would be asking why PD didn't take time to make GT6 a better game instead of making a GT demo for PS4? Are they desperate for money? So no, it's not a nice tactic, maybe american, or western business is like that, I am not sure eastern business is like that.
Personally I would feel offended.

PD can relese a PS4 demo later, after GT6 release, that is logical and sell it like a Prologue game. It's their always tactic.

Can you honestly be that sure that they aren't hungry for money. I mean I know several of us would like to think that PD thinks consumer first and are our buddies and are a business second...but then there is reality. I can't be sure they aren't hungry for money, I tend to think they are. Also it isn't limited to Western only, China does tactics as bad if not worse and other more notable Asian nations do the same...

Seems as if doki-doki universe, hohokum and counterspy got anounced. I think that's what he wanted to show us.
 
Perhaps gt6 a spec for ps4 and gt6 B spec for ps3. I've got a feeling the ps4 is going to get alot more significant game then a mere demo chaps.
 
Drive Club is hardly more ambitious than Gran Turismo 5. It is pretty sloppy.

For me, Gran Turismo 6 will be on PS3. PoDi will benefit more 70 million PS3 worldwide.
 
Well it's not like we expect the game to be announced through the website, right? It actually has to be announced officially by Sony first before there's any info on the GT website. That's how I always thought it works. I may be wrong.

I'd like to think that the announcements this week will be like the PS4 conference back in February; a clear warmup to E3, but while also offering quite a bit of new info.

Sony did that sought of yesterday in Brazil but no mention of Gran Turismo. I don't know of any big events coming up in next few weeks (If it is to be revealed in next few weeks) so I guess a Playstation Blog reveal will take place before information being updated on official website and I mostly expect GT Academy to be talked about. Might also have a bit of GT6 information if it is based on physics in that game.

EU website seems most complete so far. The US website seems to have quite a bit missing from it and I saw Asia Pacific has a typo in a section where EU doesn't have it so very strange to see inconsistencies but I guess they are trying to localize it with the images and stuff of games and mistakes can be made.

That GT5 Prologue had playable content from GT5 almost three years before GT5 itself was released. Sorry, I thought my point was self-evident.

Anyway, gonna celebrate this lack of news with some GT5 before work... if I do go to work. Feeling a little meppy... :P
