So... based on my understanding:

Suzuki Jimny Sierra
Cossie (1992)
Huh?
Porsche Mission X
Porsche 992 Turbo S

I think one of the cars in the silhouette the rumored Mercedes W196 was featured in the opening credits for GT Sport. What do you think?

Oddly, I am happy to have another 911, the GT3 variants we have currently are a great drive, but I've always wanted another 'Turbo' model, since we currently only have one, the 1981 model.

Cossie is cool, though I don't really know much about it other than it being a great rally car. I'm sure it'll be a fun drive no doubt.

Mission X - interesting choice, not something I'll use much though.

Jimny Sierra - Another copy-paste car, PD seem to be doing a decent amount of that lately. Hopefully this Jimny will be just as fun to drive as the Kei variant.

Mercedes thing - I don't know what to make of this, since I don't really know what it is. Awesome to see it's from the 1950s though. I've wanted more '50s cars for a while now, and if this turns out to be what is reported in the article then it might be a good competitor to other race cars from the era we have currently.

I wonder if we’ll finally start seeing more 911 Turbo models after PD has been giving most of their attention to the naturally aspirated range of Carrera RS / GT3 models over the years.

The 992 Turbo will join the 930 Turbo already in the game, and the 964 Turbo was leaked in the datamine. Hopefully there’ll be more turbos coming across the 993, 996, 997 and 991 generations. Maybe even some GT2 variants as well.

I really like the potential here, the 996 Turbo was a poster car for me as a kid. But I can't help but to wonder why PD are still focusing attention on the 911 range when we don't even have some of the entry model Porsches from yesteryear (914, 924, 944, 928).

The Mission X is another of those cars I'll buy, test drive and sell it. EVs are not really my preference. The 911 is a car I'm not excited about it. I rather stick to the oldies Porsches. The Jimny is an ok choice and I'm really curious about the driving and the pricing of the Mercedes W196.

Without a doubt the Ford Escort is the highlight of this pack for me.

Think the roof is longer than what we see in the silhouette? I mean, this could be the case of having two Clios or two A90 Supras or is it more like Mustang GT and Shelby GT350, C7 and ZR-1, Camaro SS and ZL1?

Well I'm hoping we can swap the engine of a 992 Turbo/S into the 993 Carrera RS/CS to create a kind of restomod 993 GT2.

LMH spec doesn’t look like that. None of the consumer Valkyrie variants have a hoop wing like that either.

Yes I know. I said I was 50/50 on it on my next comment that I posted. But it was a hopeful guess, like the other post about it being a Ferrari F50 GT, which I couldn't see the resemblance to, personally. We all know it's been established since that it is in fact the Porsche Mission X Concept.

I really hope we DON'T get a 20,000,000 price tag for a car in this update. As someone two years behind already, I appreciated none of the DLC cars having that and would REALLY prefer it to stay that way. I barely was able to get the F1 Road car.

I don't care about the new cars.

where is the psvr2 update?
where is the ps5 pro update?

PSVR2 update - no one knows if there will even be one.

PS5 Pro update - targeting November so possibly part of next week“s update.

Would very much seem likely for the Merc. If anything, 20 Million is actually quite cheap compared to how much it might cost (in USD) in real life. The 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupé recently sold for a World record $143 million 2 years ago and a W196 Streamliner is expected to sell at auction between $50-$70 million. The car being included in GT7 having the incredible history that it does, also makes it more likely to be at the top end of the price range in-game.

I hope that doesn't give PD ideas to raise the price cap on cars.

To drum up some fun relevant conversation:

Anyone have examples of the Escort for GT/Road race use? All I can think of is its use in rally. @05XR8 I know you're pretty good at this stuff.

If so, I hope to see some good liveries.
