What you are looking at is a variation of @TheChallenger's idea. The used cars make a return to the GT series but in a different fashion. This time you browse through a "craigslist styled" list (without the horrid grammar and spelling of course) and then you "meet-up" with the owner.
The first button is to purchase the car for the said amount. Second is for negotiating with the owner. The third one is to go for a test drive. The last one shows the car's stats and information.
Here is the negotiation thing I was talking about:
You don't actually "talk" to the owner. What you do here is enter your desired amount and then a conversation-like phrase comes up. The owner (AI) decides if they want to accept your offer or reject it. You keep discussing until you either reach an agreement or stop negotiating.
The UCD was a place where cars not in the dealership came up for a lower-than-market price, in a time cycle, it is an offline process. In GT6 you can buy any car in the game now.I am unfamiliar with how the Used Car Dealership worked. Was there also a regular dealership where I could just buy ANY of the cars I wanted brand new? Or did the regular dealership occasionally run out of certain models? Was the used car dealership just a way to try and save some money by purchasing used cars that other players put up for sale?
Sorry for the double post, but I want to let people know that I made another design. I went for another arcade menu UI, the course selection. I went for a GT3 style appearance, this is where you go after selecting the kind of tracks you want. In this case, this is the real world track selection. After a player picks a course, they'll then be able to choose the layout they desire. So, if a player for instance picks Motegi here, they can either pick the east, west, nascar, or full course layout.
Though, I might change it to something simpler if this turns out to be too much of a pain for people to use. Though, I'm pleased to finally make use of these track logo vectors I have.
I was actually thinking of changing the color of all of the squares in my revision. So yeah, you'll see that change happen whenever I post a revision of this menu. That looks simple and great, I'd just change the color for the selected track because in comparison to the other tracks it is almost indistinguishable.
Nice work guys, hope to see more, here is my contribution, it's a full screen mode for GTauto, these same options would be available in Gallery view:

I am also going to make an icon pack with the buttons I've used and upload them, they include Playstation buttons, command buttons, Paint chips (from GT4, 5 and 6,) GTauto and the GT Association Logo.

Having taken part in similar threads over the years on GTP, and seen the fantastic response and work by members, I would like to see what ideas we have for the GT7 UI on PS4.
All aspects of the UI are welcome and I am interested in seeing what people think could be done with the Track Pad.
This is of course open to all members but I would especially like to invite @Earth, @shawtyoner and @glassjaw as they contributed brilliantly in the past. Let us see what you have guys.

Very Good workFinnished my first UI screen (it's 1/3 of the entire menu).
I'll leave it here for now.
Some icons are originals, some are from the inernet, some were manipulated. The idea is for the icons to be in movment (like .gifs) while the cursor is above them.
Love itMassive image size. Oh well. Here's my attempt. Wanted to go back to the roots of GT2 with the East, West, North, and South Cities.
Who doesn't love nostalgiaLove the GT2 look. So nostalgic
GreatttttttttttttttttttReminds me of the GT4 menu, very clean 👍
Finished the South City Dealership
Took my breath away
I had to replace the Porsches with Polyphony cars and the drivers with PD and Sony employees while GTP's @Jordan gets to drive the Polyphony GTE
GT4 was the best
keep up your work u 2 and your work could be used for gt7

The Octa posting is unreal!
And yet I have more of an issue with these pointless posts than the 8 multi-posts.There's an Edit button for a reason.
Oh yeah forgot about that, thanks for the tipAnd yet I have more of an issue with these pointless posts than the 8 multi-posts.
If there's an issue like this, you do not need to comment on it. Report it and move on.
That said @ss3, in the future please use the multi-quote option or edit your post.
Initial D!I made an Event Card, Finally after sooooo long.

You don't even know what I would do for an online UCD. So many replicas I have.... Aventador SV anyone? The way you guys are bringing the UCD back is amazing. The used car dealership was a great idea in every GT game, but its UI was always kinda lazy. I like the GT4 one with the tickets and all, though it's about time we get some innovation!
Lovely. Could I ask what typeface you used for "INITIAL"?
Hey guys, I'm back.
after many months, i apologize
and i also decided i would just start over because i ended up not liking what i came up with. expect a new seasonal event ui soon!
EDIT: Here's the new menu. I'm very happy on how it turned out.

Feel free to let me know what you think. I quite like it myself.
The font on the right is a bit hard to read.
