So it's time to create a proper GT4 replica tune for the R8 V10 instead of the old R8 V8 we have now.

Nice to see again the Toyota Gt-One TS020... Not so happy for the Urus, but maybe it's just me.
Is it the v10 plus? I read that’s awd. I’ll be more than happy if it’s the base RWD model.

I'm probably the opposite of 99% of all users, and I'm most looking forward to Urus.
The reason is simple. This is the cheapest and slowest car of the updates.
The car I mainly buy is a road car that can be set to PP600 to use in online races with friends.
The R8, will probably be able to barely get to 600 PP by killing most of its benefits, but due to excessive downforce, PP efficiency will be poor and a car that is supposed to be fast will become slower under this rule.
TS020. Since it is a race car, it cannot be used in the first place. I like it though.

GT-One is one of my most wanted cars for the game, so this update is already stellar in my eyes! Nice to get the R8 V10 and I'm strangely excited for the Urus 😅.

The GT-One will undoubtly be BoP-ed into Gr.1, which is such a shame. The Gr.1 category is a hot unbalanced mess of prototypes spanning 40ish years. PD really need to split them upp more appropriatly. We have 5 Group C cars which more then warrants a Gr.C category of their own. But that's wishful thinking at this point.

I assume we get the usual handful of Scapes, extra/bonus menus and race events, then we'll wait and see to what else accompanies the update. Would love a track (tarmac) but not holding my breath. BoP adjustments are likely perhaps after the major BoP overhaul last month.

But the GT-One is coming, so for me everything else will be icing on the cake :D

Sad to see we got an SUV before a wagon in the game, but I'm honestly looking forward to drive the first Super SUV in the Gran Turismo series!

People can stop worrying about it being the road car GT-One by the way. The Japanese flag that is on both the 1998 and 1999 race liveries but not the road livery is visible in the silhouette (on the bit of the left side of the car you can see):

Specifically, its the 1999 model. Its a solid color and frankly, its been the most popular of the 2 (for good reason considering it was THE one chasing down the BMW for the win.

See you say that, but there is also the possibility of the GT-One going into Gr.2, to join the Mercedes-Benz CLK LM & BMW McLaren F1 GTR LT, the other 2 GT1 cars we have in the game.

Nah, I like all the cars in this update. All bangers IMO

That would've been IF the car was the 1998 car. However as mentioned, its the 1999 car. the GT1 cars you mention are from 1998 and 1997 respectively.
