An epiphany I had was about the SSD. Kaz was right to talk it up as a game changer.

Just picture scrolling through your garage, picking a car at random, and that car being on a test track (perhaps preselected by you as your default) within a second. Having played Miles Morales and Demon's Souls on the PS5, two Sony exclusives, and having seen gameplay of Returnal, I know that it is very easily within the realm of possibility.

The more I think about it, the more I realize what he might be saying in regards to car collecting. It will be like picking a Hot Wheels off a shelf of so many and just getting in. I'm having a hard time expressing what I'm anticipating but I know that I'm more excited about the game than before.

But to me, Gran Turismo has always had a cumbersome menu that required far too many clicks to get around. I understand that they made a hire not too long ago who specialized in menus. Maybe he will inject a fresh perspective.

People kinda forget this when talking about nostalgia or such:

Shortcut menu at least exist in GT1 and GT2. They should implement that if it's meant to return past features, used in the Top Menu like GTS did, but keep the Mode Menu in any menu you're in, not replacing it with the title of the menu you're in like GTS did (e.g. from Top Screen to "Home" in Home):

There was a quick menu in GT4 as well, if you hit the start button

I like the new wheel selection UI. Also, return of custom wings confirmed!

Looks like a lot more depth to the engine upgrades available compared to the GT5/6 “stage” kits, with bore, cam, piston, intercooler, crankshaft... waaaay more parts than that was available in 5 or 6. There’s a “fully customized computer”, I don’t know if that’s just indicating multiple stages of ECU parts, or if we’ll get to play with engine mapping. If the latter is the case you’d think this is the video for them to say so, but with the speed these things are coming out maybe they’re trying to spread out every detail they can?

at 0:28 it appears that there’s a section for “custom parts” that encapsulates all body/aero/cosmetic components. I wonder if anything else will be able to be as dynamic or “custom” as the wing option, like splitters, diffusers, hoods, canards, or fender flares? There’s some UI information blurred by the subtitles at 0:50 that I’m curious about, but it doesn’t look like there may be much to dissect without opening the selections there.

So after those all videos what is next? because still we have 4 months for the release.

It's strange, Gran Turismo 7 right now has a lot of pre launch information than Horizon Forbidden West

More proof that the scapes menu in that trailer is an older build - the main menu there lists 2,568 scapes:

Wait i've just realized that GT7 will include scapes of Argentina...woah.

I find this hilarious, my humour sucks I know

Im not really hyped about rain again... This is lacking rainfall

That begs the question, if it truly has dynamic weather, will rain intensity change or will it simply be rain on/off?

I also like the water puddle in the upper image, coming off the inner corner.
The road surface looks more realistic, hard to my finger on it.
less reflection where its less wet?

Maybe we'll see aqua planning? Doubt it.

It's weird how there are barely any droplets on windshields.Such a bummer that PS5 will be forced to have parity(might e unfair for cockpit viewers to see more of the track on PS4 compared to PS5).
I do think there's more water spray on the first pic.
I can't see it have to be forced to have parity with ps4 in terms of droplets amount ;d its clearly could be done better on ps5 and has nothing to do with being crossgen as you can have different level of graphic settings ps5 vs ps4 (see new fh5 xsx vs xone) edit: ok read your argument of cockpit viewers, hehe some interesting point tough don't think thats the reason

It's possible that they reduced the amount of rain drops on the windshield, as a way to balance the gameplay between the 4 views. With rain, it would be pretty much unplayable to drive on cockpit view, compared to the other views.

Or, it could simply be an early build.

What i really like about this pic is the more complex geometry and more importantly the wear on the racing line.
I know im in the minority but id love more detail on the track side too.

A major gripe of mine with Sport is the lack of tyre marks on some tracks, like they've never been raced on.
The yellow lines behind the cars here is what i want to see, the little details that can make all the difference.

Just something that caught my eye.
