I'm glad this thread is back
We have 2.5 acres right next to Willow Springs! We’d like to sell our property to another GT fan. The location is sweet; you can hear the cars buzzing throughout and is only 1.5hrs from Hollywood! The town is small and quiet, let me know. For sure looking forward to driving in 7!

I’m curious about the multiplayer. Will they do away with the traditional lobbies in favour of matchmaking? That’s the only thing I’m worried about atm.
It'd be fine if matchmaking's an option, but I want something like the GT6 lobbies, only more-refined.

If only one of those changes was getting rid of this mess of a track.
I think Alsace could be good with a few changes. Firstly as said already, reduce the width down to realistic local french road width. Remove much of the Armco right alongside the track edge, move it back a bit and have grass verges. Get rid of the crazy camber corners, remove the twisty bit near the end and you'd have a vaguely realistic 1960s style road course.

If they wanted to make these sloping turns, they could use the real old circuits. As a normal road in the countryside it looks quite weird.

Alsace could look more like this real vintage circuit:

I’ll leave it to whoever sees this to question its legitimacy, but it’s an interesting development nonetheless:

A friend of me contacted the seller and provided proofs of laser scanning to them:

Well, it's evidence someone scanned the car. Not necessarily PD. Although I guess there isn't really much point in lying, and it's not a totally new car to the series, it was a standard car, so it's probably true.

still rubbing rabbit’s foot Hope PD sourced some FPVs from GT4 to make a return as well. Still don’t know why the licensing stopped after PSP. The company changed hands from David Richards to Tim Edwards(FPR and now Tickford). So, that could be one of the reasons. At this point, I just don’t see PD adding the Falcon FG X.
i mean, it could have been added in GT Sport, as it was just before production ceased. We’ll see. We’d probbably get the Tickford XR8 ‘00 as a Gr.3 car, before any of the Ford Australia road cars. Holdens from GT4 could make a comeback. We’ll see.

Nothing new to report from the groups data-mining the latest version of GT Sport:

I do believe it's safe to say that the game is on life support now; the previous version that was mined was Version 1.61, which is dated July 2, 2020. Version 1.68, which is the latest version of the game as of this post, is dated September 15, 2021. So that's the time span of a year and two months, and the only new things to pull from the game are more test courses whose names are impossible to decipher and an ENVMAP test entry. Expect nothing new from hereon out.

Confirmed sometime ago, however, the Supra Gr.3 used during the Olympic Virtual Series is a "new" car in the fact that it doesn't use the same modelcode as the car normally available for purchase in the game; the original car's modelcode is "gr_supra_racing_concept_18" while the modelcode for the car used for the OVS is "supra_racecar_xx". Which model will be the one to show up in GT7 is a mystery.

No mention of multi-class racing but I would be amazed if it is included. It would be a terrific addition.

2 classes with 8 cars each? 3 with 5 each? Do you really think people could handle that without punting each other? IRL it requires the slower cars to move over for the faster ones.

As a fellow Aussie I'd love to see some Aussie cars too. Forza Horizon has done a great job of this in recent years. Seems unlikely that PD will do it though, don't you think?

It’s a possibility. Kaz said he would have to think which cars to include. There have only been five Australian cars in the franchise. Plus, the exported GTO. Could be in the brands we haven’t seen yet.

Hopefully. You have to imagine they have something left to unveil other than the remaining cars and tracks, because so far they've shown us absolutely nothing new in terms of major new gameplay elements or features. There is mention of a couple of new things in that new Japanese thing but pretty minor.
But MUSIC RALLY.

If that's their showcase feature for the game it might be time to Old Yeller this franchise.

I've rewatched video on PS5 version, I see a lot of changes on Alsace Village.

@emula you can do some comparisons please ? :) I'm a bit intrigued.

Otherwise, some great news today ! I like separation between, used and brand central cars ! I like so much the new cockpit view !
Physics seems improved. More than 420 cars is a very good number. 90+ tracks, too, I hope they will confirm Apricot Hill very soon. And 2500 scapes is just incredible !

I just expect two things :

DLCs will be free and championship in GT Mode.

Looking forward to March 4th 2022 !

I might have missed something somewhere in one o the videos, can you explain what the music rally refers to?
Cheers.
Nobody knows. It's just briefly mentioned in this with no expansion on what it is. "Racing to music".

Sounds fun tbh.
I sort of agree, I wanna try it. But it also sounds like it should be a cute little additional feature, like the Sierra Time Rally or Coffee Breaks. I can't imagine what they would make that would be well described as "music rally" but would also be appropriate as a major feature in a game like Gran Turismo.

The first thing it makes me think of is Wipeout. Great music, great flowing racing, ambient visuals mixing it all together. I ****ing love Wipeout, but it's a long way from there to Gran Turismo.

I haven't been following along much lately. What is the consensus about a potential delay for the launch? Is it set in stone? Delays and AAA titles go hand in hand these days
