I can’t remember the last time I had a game downloaded a week before release.
I dont bother to pre-load any game I've got on pre-order. Hell, I didn't pre-load Elden Ring. (I'm a huge Souls fan)

But GT7 has been on my SSD since the day they let us pre-load lol 😁

I'll drop by the electronics market I preordered my game from on Thursday and ask if they'll let me have it. If not I'll just go back there on Friday. Fingers crossed tho I'll get it on Thursday :)

Only Sony did not really liked the Cyberpunk debacle
So maybe we can expect better them as a publisher
Tbf the only reason that game got pulled from the store was because CDPR started offering refunds without Sony’s consent. If that didn’t happen then Sony would have glady left it in the ps store alongside all the other pos AAA games that have been released over the years.

More random things I noticed about GT7
I think the driving missions are back, but they're called magic missions. There even seems to be a good selection of them like in GT4, that's kinda nice. Actually, the career mode in general looks like it has more going on than in 5 & 6. and if the A.I. truly is better in the later events, then we're probably in good shape.

Also yay, the A.I. cars even have custom parts equiped. It's a step up from the custom liveried A.I. cars in GT Sport.

I have read from a person I am following on Facebook who has GT7 already say the single player mode has a lot of things to keep you occupied… like a lot lol

I hope they do something about the clutch. There is something weird about the clutch in this game that makes manual + clutch awful to use, it’s so easy to miss a shift. It feels pretty unrealistic compared to using one irl.

False start checks in Campaign👀? Was this a thing in gt5 or 6?

After seeing this I tried changing the start procedure in GT Sport campaign and ****!

You really need to haul ass in those Prototype Endurance races with grid starts. Whatever trickery is in play for this series, the AI are rapid, after 10 laps I was 40 seconds down so quit 😆

As for the false start check every driver got a penalty off the line, so not properly implemented until GT7.

There's a bunch of other different start procedures.

Grid, rolling, pit lane, final corner, double file, standing single file and more.

What’s the issue with it? Never have used it before
It’s very easy to miss a shift and end up in neutral. If I remember correctly they basically nerfed power shifting and made the clutch really finicky to use so it wasn’t OP for online races, you can’t even use it in sport mode either.

To me it feels like this sometimes has a negative affect when you are just using the paddles too. If I try moving a gr3 car from a stand still on a loose surface it feels like it won’t even go into gear sometimes, even though it says it’s in 1st.

Preserve and reupload to censorship resistant platforms, it will probably be years before it is widely understood that YouTube and Twitch bend the knee for Sony so while it's annoying many people don't realize that their content will be taken off these platforms, there are alternatives for those that do know to preserve the content.

It looks like they just let some dude play around with the track creator but I like wackiness in videogames. I find it cool.
I don't have a problem with it's videogameness, it just doesn't fit in the artistic style of the track location at all.

At Route X for instance, or any track in the middle of nowhere, it'd make more sense. But in the French countryside, we're supposed to suspend belief that someone would really build that? The original track was already pretty unrealistic with the highway wide roads but this takes it to another level.

It's not just the corner either, the whole thing looks bizarre and very much tacked on as an afterthought.

Tell me Samus. What do you like about Gran Turismo? What are you looking forward to? I honestly can not think of ever reading anything about current GT you like.
