You can't unlock them. That's all there is at the moment. Maybe with a future update they will be added. That brings me back to my initial question:

I mean grinding is not a big deal… and even your Forza example maybe you didn’t see it as grinding but, driving the same tracks over and over even in different cars the events still felt the same and redundant to me… You also said yourself you don’t play these game for long time… there will be a point where the in game stuff will become redundant… That’s more of a personal preference you didn’t see it as grinding and enjoying the events. I have been playing GT forever and it not any different.. If you want something nice you’re going to have to grind/work for it when you add the GT style of gameplay it all works out for me… yes it’s grinding but it’s not miserable… just because someone grinds doesn’t mean they don’t enjoy it. I tell people enjoy your game the way you want… I’m not the one to really questions how someone plays and enjoys their game because we all have different likes and dislikes..I mean, I've never found that I needed to grind in any Forza game.
By "grind" I mean repeating races purely for the sake of gaining resources. I clearly don't play these games for hundreds of hours like people like you do, but the sheer amount of events meant I didn't need to repeat anything if I didn't want to do it for fun. I just play the game.
Now, there's potential gameplay value to not necessarily having the money to do absolutely anything, but that shouldn't necessarily drive the player to grinding. That's how MMOs used to work like 25 years ago. Developers realised that repeatedly doing a trivial task just to earn resources was boring gameplay, and that there were better ways of doing things.
Whatever gameplay the players would enjoy, you can make it reward roughly the same as grinding would for the same time spent. You can apply this to all sorts of different gameplay so that this works for all different types of players. That way the player has to work for their reward, but has fun while they're doing it instead of it being a boring task that they're only doing for the sake of the reward at the end. This results in a game where players are having fun more of the time - a game that is literally more fun.
The idea that grinding is inevitable is wrong. There are other, better ways of doing things and have been for a long time. They don't stop people from grinding if they want, but most people don't find grinding to be fun in and of itself so giving other options is a very good thing.
(cough) wrong side of 50 🤣 Loving nearly every minute of it, although I miss the daily workout car from GTS. The Roulette of Wrongness (for that is now its name) has literally once given me more than the smallest pile of cash. I loved collecting the cars and disappearing for hours into the Livery Editor, so I'm getting a little frustrated with that aspect, but loving the actual racing. The negative reviews thread is that way ---->
Also, I'm 37 and loving every minute of it. To each their own.
It was a 4K clip. High resolution replay. No idea why it’d be taken down by Kaz.Sorry, we couldn’t find that page
Or just like Track Path Editor (course maker) was brilliantly introduced late into GT6's life, and then they killed it when the servers shut xDEven when it's not perfect on release date, PD is known for their commitment to the game and will fix bugs and even introduce new features players want, just like campaign mode on GT sport
From the videos and reviews, I saw that the career mode basically consists of 80% menus, car history lessons, and only 20% of 3-10 lap races. Is that it or am I missing something?
Other than the visuals what's so special about this gt7? the career mode looks short so they added useless menus to make it look long. If you group championships together you basically have 10-15 championships max...
Sorry but this game is not worth $70. If you want to have a tech demo for the ps5 this game is perfect for that, but other than that they could've added everything to gt sport as an update and call it gt sport spec 2 or something.
What's the point of weather and time change if you don't even have endurance races.
This game is 100% not complete.
I have a feeling Forza 8 will eat gt alive when it comes out.
Also who tf gave kaz this music rally bs idea.
I'm 27 so maybe i'm too old for this to get the hype.
Sorry for the rant I was honestly looking forward to spending all my weekends playing gt7 but I guess i'll wait for forza 8 now
I forgot what license challenge it was but toward the end of the test it was two jumps and I mean they were sending me everywhere but the damn finish line!Had a smile from ear to ear watching the AI deal with the jumps in the GR.B rally stages. They full send it over each one and rarely make it out alive.

Haha same! They also slide everywhere when it's pouring with rain.Had a smile from ear to ear watching the AI deal with the jumps in the GR.B rally stages. They full send it over each one and rarely make it out alive.
With this license test if you hit the wall you failed.. bro how many times I had to walk outside you would of thought I was crazy!I landed into the pit lane. Good thing there was one more lap.
nop not a bugIm reading a few posts where people are having issues with making tight turns when the car is lowered too much.Is this a bug likely to be patched or is it s simulation of real life, wheels hitting the fender/wheelarch when too low?
This was on the ps4 pro, posted in another thread.
I lowered my mini too far and slow tight turns were awkward to make, raised it again and things were better.
15 hours ago. I guess someone must have posted it. I’m just seeing this just then.
Simulation of real life. If you're too low with wide tyres then your steering angle is going to suffer. Finding the sweet spot with the ride height and such is going to be the key.Im reading a few posts where people are having issues with making tight turns when the car is lowered too much.Is this a bug likely to be patched or is it s simulation of real life, wheels hitting the fender/wheelarch when too low?

That’s that getting done once and never returning back race!😂 I agree with you though they tripping on that! They really need to streamline the reward vs effort for races IMO. See the picture below, this makes absolutely no sense.

Oh, not the licence test. The WRC event. PD need to fix the rally landings. Insane. With this license test if you hit the wall you failed.. bro how many times I had to walk outside you would of thought I was crazy!
This is the sort of nerdy detail that I love. And, obvs, will absolutely hate when it affects me!!Simulation of real life. If you're too low with wide tyres then your steering angle is going to suffer. Finding the sweet spot with the ride height and such is going to be the key.
Honestly I liked it I was doing it like In GTS going full throttle.. I was shocked when I landed and almost flipped lmao 🤣 As soon as I controlled my throttle over the jumps I was good!Oh, not the licence test. The WRC event. PD need to fix the rally landings. Insane.
True. I did a couple of lightly tap the brakes before the jump.Honestly I liked it I was doing it like In GTS going full throttle.. I was shocked when I landed and almost flipped lmao 🤣 As soon as I controlled my throttle over the jumps I was good!
does anyone know what the option are for competing with my friend for fastest lap on a track. Where can I see his fastest lap time, can I download and race his ghost etc?
