How does the wet tire meter work? Is it like a cup, where the more it fills up, the less grip?

I have no idea. My rain runs have been so random.
From racing the R8 my understanding is that from empty to the first bar is good enough for dry compounds (even if there is spray), from the first bar to the second is intermediates and after that they start to aquaplane and you need the full wets. For career mode/missions the weather is accelerated so much that it's probably worth skipping the intermediates to play it safe.

It has too much negative camber already, so I was suggesting adding some positive camber to bring it to around 1.5 up front and 2.0 in the rear.
I don't recall ever seeing any cars come with more than 2 degrees of camber.

Ok so I don't know if it's just me but oval racing on this game feels terrible. At least with high speed cars. I don't know how to describe it. My wheel feels stiff and if I turn even just a little bit the car wants to spin out. I can't be aggressive with the wheel. If I'm running at the top at stage x for example and I wanna drop down low it's impossible to do because I'm gonna spin. It feels like when I turn the wheel wants to center itself back out. This is only a issue at oval tracks with high speed cars. Mainly Daytona and stage x. Is anyone else having this issue? It could be my wheel settings but I don't wanna touch that because it feels fine when I do road courses. I don't understand what to do because I really do enjoy driving at Daytona and stage x and if it's gonna be feeling like that then I don't think I wanna drive at those tracks. I'm using a thrustmaster t300rs btw.

I encounter the same issue with the Ford GT LMGTE at high speed ring.

However I came across a temporary solution until it’s fixed: Have more rear aero.

At max rear, minimum front the GT is much less inclined to kill me and feels more stable. The trade off is that you get understeer, so right now I’m playing around with aero settings to find the optimal balance that I can control and make the car as quick as possible.

A clear indication Gran Turismo is in desperate need of some newer GR3/GR4 cars.

I said this in another thread just now, have you tried lowering your sensitivity to -1 in the controller sensitivity settings?

It helped me so much, cars became way more predictable to drive with it and I've only had a few spinouts since then, mostly of my own doing.

(For reference, I'm on PS4 using a DS4 aswell)
THANK YOU!!!

This has made the game so much more enjoyable. I can now catch slides and can control the car so much better now. Thanks so much for this suggestion.

can anyone please check if the r5 turbo on ucd is limited stock or not
im not playing and i want to see if i can buy it today or tomorrow

Kazunori-san finally blessed me and dropped the '95 Integra into the UCD so you already know I went ham and spent way more than is reasonable for this almost 30-year-old Honda.

Here are my findings after modding to near 650pp.
  • Revs up to 10,000 RPM now and I don't know if it can go even higher since I'm apparently missing the Titanium Rods. I didn't see it in the tuning shop.
  • Since this Integra uses 15 inch rims instead of 16 like the 98spec, the brake caliber it uses for the front is the same as the one it uses on the rear, which is a little goofy. It looks like crap to be honest and that means its just a 2-pot caliper. I could get a Wilwood DPHA, Dynalite, or ASR AP Calipers under a 15 inch wheel and they're all relatively-massive 4-pots.
  • Something feels wrong with the balance with this car. I think the car is tuned to around 400 hp give or take a few and yet not once did it feel like the car wanted to plow straight into a wall. Unlike in Forza where adding 5 hp made it understeer to the moon, doing the Tuned Turbo 700 at Suzuka felt really good up to the limits of FWD.
  • Turbo doesn't seem to work properly. The gauge only shows vacuum and never enters boost even though I can hear the spool. The car is fast as hell though since it was able to whoop a GR Supra on all circuits.
Additionally, as an aside, I found that with this car (at least) I could paint the hood separately from the rest of the car. I don't like the fact that you can't paint the roll cage until you paint the car (which, as another aside, GT Auto somehow doesn't offer Championship White even though like 6 Hondas offer it), but once I did, I had the option to paint the hood under "Body 2." It might also affect other parts but since I wasn't interested in a carbon hood I didn't end up checking.

I'll try that. But before I do that I might mess with some wheel settings. I wish gt games offered more when it comes to setting up your wheel to your liking. 3 little options obviously ain't enough.

I looked for CW last night and I believe it's just called "White" in the paint list for some reason. It looks absolutely identical.

Speaking of wheel settings, I was trying to assign a button on my GT DD Pro for brake balance but it wasn't an option.

Not really a big deal as it's easy enough to do with the stick but I was hoping to make use of all my buttons and I like to keep the radar on so I don't want to have to scroll over

To adjust the balance you don’t have to scroll, just use the red dial. You do have to scroll back to your rainradar though, would be nice if it would return after a few seconds.
