Lunchtime 45mins and the Roulette Of Wrongness has FINALLY coughed up an actual car!! I'm back in the office now, so can't remember exact details, a BRZ Drift Spec I think.
 
Has anyone ever had this message before, does it delete saved data from the other version etc?

Have you, by any chance, previously sold or traded in a PS4 console, or do you have a second console which is used by someone else in the house?

That was several years go, plus I did a factory reset on my old PS4 after transferring my data to my pro and sold my old one, so no one has access to my data but me.

That message only comes up if you are logging into a second console while logged into a first already...

I would recommend, as a priority, using the remote deactivation tool:

How to deactivate a PlayStation console

Learn how to deactivate your PlayStation consoles to allow new console activation and avoid activation limits.

Then set your current console as your Primary.

I’m done with this game. Every car just slides around. Doesn’t matter what upgrades I put into it. Even turned on the aides. This is really boring driving and waiting for it to slip out.

Well some said before, be more patient with the gas throttle, turn the TCS on max and get some soft slick tyres. And finally... think about getting a wheel, as this is even more sensitve.

Thats the think: In the old Xbox Projet Gothem Racing, you had the opportunity to test drive all cars, prior to buy them for a 1:30 min. test drive. I would wish, that some test drive option would be also in GT7, as I would know in which super car I put my hard earned money.

It's weird that they would do that. Considering a lot of the faster races that aren't on the menu show the ai is incredibly fast. Take a few of the Gr.3 races for example. It almost feels like the ai is dumbed down a bit on the menu races but it could just be because they're in slower cars.

It's not dumbing down AI if that's how the AI in GT has always been previously for the menu races... (all races in GT5 and GT6 are chase the rabbit for instance).

This was great fun. I thought S-10 was going to kill me as my first few laps were 6 seconds off Gold pace. Took about 20 retries to get there in the end with a 2:25:528.

Was it really that hard to get gold for all license tests? For me it is alway a "mendatory" think, to start a new GT by getting all licenses on gold. Some tests are much harder as some, but in the end I got them all. OMG... the one lap test with the old MB 300 SL Gullwing on the Nordschleife, to get the CLK-GTR in GT5, horrible! I thougt, I never make it, but in the end I did :)... sorry grandpa tells about the war... :D

Have to say on the whole this game has pleasantly surprised me , yes the ai isn’t up to much yet but it’s an improvement over previous at least pace wise , my only criticism is the so called claims of a locked 60fps seems optimistic on the ps4 pro.

Starting at the back of a 20 car race in arcade is a disappointment from the perspective of frame rate, dropping to mid 40’s I’d say at times.

If they could tidy this up in any way I’d be more than happy until the ps5 become readily available in the year 2058.

Has anyone have problems activating an Oil Change on the PS4? It goes through the animation and deducts the credits. But then come up with a screen which at first you can't get out of with the X button... Unless you press it repeatedly like 20 times...!?
 
I am just curious what you guy think about the 2nd mission of "Magic mountain", with the Porsche Carrera RS. I mean, ok get it... PD and Kaz want to show us, that slicks are much better in terms of grip as sport and even more than regular tyres.. ok... honestly it feels here more like full polished metal tyres on an icy track. I am coming with about 105 km/h into the first right corner and than, not even touching the gas, but the back is still turning in. WTF... When I am driving of the Autobahn into the exit home, it is also a long radius right-left combination which I did also with 100-110 km/ with REAL winter tyres and not even tyre squeeking :D C'mon PD... this is super unrealistic! "comfort" tyres in real aren't that bad!

PS: At the end I did all mission from this in gold.

I've got that coming actually, sounds hilarious. I've only done the first Magic Mountain, those sodding Fiat 500s!! Hate them so much, they were crap in real life too🤣
 
I really like what they did with the new hairpin on that track. I don't know how to really explain it, but having two extreme high speed sectors instead of just the one feels a lot more satisfying.

I won an Invitation for a Veneno 2 days ago. Won another again today. At the dealer it only shows as one. Maybe I can buy 2 if I had the Cr? Wasn't planning on getting one, don't need 2.

yeah i've had this problem too.. except i got the invite TWICE through the random tickets and even before that i was randomly given the invite prior :banghead:

I don’t think invitations are limiting the number of cars you can buy. I bought the Citroën yesterday and the invitation is still valid for 10 days if I want two or more 🤑
