I'm not finding it hard to get money, and I was getting 5 thousand tickets for the longest and now I’ve got 1 mill 500k 100k some nice tuning parts etc> Yeah some want fast easy money I guess from other games that's what the wave is, But I enjoy having to be careful with my money and appreciate when I save of for certain expensive cars. I mean look at the formula they have now? if we asked everyone to show what type of supercars they have, we all have different ones! there's going to be certain supercars I drive that my friends won't drive because the current invitation setup. Usually with other games everyone would prob have most supercars within two weeks release, it's not a bad thing but I appreciate the unique way PD does it. anyway, I hope you're enjoying the game because I sure am. I must have been a good man because they sent me this bad boy!

I am enjoying this game. It has its positives. The driving is more challenging but more rewarding for example, and the livery editor and scapes are a blast. Me and my mom played together (split screen-2 player battle) and she used the X-Bow and me my Dirt Nurse F-150. We both played around with the cones trying to see how far we could push it, then after that we found a fun way to get the F-150 stuck on the orange barriers at Monza and somehow the physics glitched out making my truck look like it had hydraulics. It was fun.

I am glad I bought the game and don't regret it in any way shape or form. I just only wish money was easier to get since there is so much to spend money on in this game.

I get that, it's fine if you like. It doesn't make any sense but if it's your kind of fun, I respect that. But it's very far from reality in 2022. And microtransactions looks completely crazy with this economy. It's like they laugh at you hard because you need to pay again and again. Why every real racing sim has everything open since start? Why Forza had to remove microtransactions? It's not normal.

I got into that argument before man lol I’m good on that conversation… I’m to old to be fighting getting my blood pressure high from a video game, especially when it’s real issues at hand.. I’m patient and been grinding for credits since playing GT so nah those MTs can stay over there. I got 2 40 min races in our GT3 cup car tonight so that will be on my list to tackle! Have a good one!

It's fine, I get it. It's like some other kind of game where you die a lot. :D Some people love it. But it shouldn't be part of popular racing game with this good physics. I never had problem with Forzas, Grids, Dirts or anything else, so I can do some "dumb" stuff if it makes sense for the game, like racing. But in GT7 there is no racing at all. Cafe was OK. After cafe there is nothing usable to earn money. For instance, in Horizon 5 I created blueprints and did races with friends. Like in a racing game. We earned so much money and had so much fun by playing it. We could create so many races consistently paid.

Alright so go play iRacing or some other joyless hardcore sim then.
Just curious. How do you feel about playing a game that advertises itself as "The Real Driving Simulator" to have it be kinda arcadish?
I mean for starters the rain and dust was pretty realistic in my opinion then the crybabies had to cry and say "I can't see!!" so PD turned it down.
People complain about the physics instead of getting use to the new model.
People complain the races don't pay enough.
Complain.

I might be in a small class but I'm happy with the game. I've been playing since the original. You had to grind. Don't want to grind? Be patient and wait for them to release more events like they said they would or buy credits.

I can't tell people to shut up but please stop complaining and making them fix things that weren't a problem in the first place.

There are real problems in the game. Wrong tires for dirt events. The inability to look left or right in offset cockpit view. Liveries not applying properly. Those are legitimate complaints. Don't buy a game that advertises itself as a simulator then cry it's too hard or get it dumbed down an make it unenjoyable for those of us who want a real challenge. Hell they even added a difficulty selection and some people are still complaining it's too hard.
Guess what? This game might not be for you. Don't ruin it for those of us who've been playing for 25ish years.

Not sure where people have gotten this whole "The dust was too dusty and the rain was too cloudy! I can't see!" narrative from.

The big dust/rain clouds were causing the majority of framerate hitches in big races, especially on PS5. If they got rid of them for a reason, it'd be that. I saw 0 people complaining about them before, aside from people pointing out they cause FPS issues in big grids.

Who let you decide what a legitimate complaint is? Seems to be just the ones that personally bother you, funny that.
Myself making observations of something obviously wrong in the coding. Not something I'm disappointed in.

@Nebuc72 The only frame rate issues I've seen were at Spa and it was sunny.
Go figure.

Funny to me is I didn't like the rally because I didn't see anything. And if it helps with the performance, it's even better. Important thing too is who uses bird camera because he doesn't care about dust 5 meters below.

The unrealistic amount of snap oversteer currently is a legitimate complaint though. As one who was completely off TC use entirely, I've had to turn it back on to 1 all the time just to actually enjoy driving.

I kinda feel you on that. I've adjusted my driving style for smother imputs with my throttle.
Like my grandpa said once. Drive like an egg is under the pedal. 😆

I have been getting lucky as of late.. got the Porsche Carrera GT.. I didn’t know it was 2.3mil saved big time money on that!! It’s like when you get expensive car makes you feel different! 😂

I've always been a fan of that rhetoric. If people need to calm down with the "whining" (some of it is nonsensical, don't get me wrong), then the same courtesy (discourtesy?) extends to those praising the game.

It's only been out for one week -- how much is there to really praise?
That’s why I praise the one th8ng, Custom Race.

Can‘t wait to use the Search function, to see how many times I referenced Custom Race.

I had an intense race with an AI 996 on the Porsche Cup at Spa. Used a lightly tuned 997 and couldn't beat it at first. The race for the first 4 laps was fun, but at the end I ended up t-boning the 996 in a desperate attempt to win since I wanted the prize car so bad.
Yep. Sounds right. This is the GT way.
They mean the very unrealistic common GT scenario in which the lead driver is thirty seconds ahead of the player (who always has to start in last) at the very start of the race, while the race is also only a handful of laps, with rubber banding. None of that happens in real life. It's not about always having to win (or even about rolling starts).
I know this. For whatever reason, some races have the grid starts and some close double file and then, those races where the countdown starts, as the leader is halfway around the circuit. It’s been like this since GT5.
There are real life races, in a same class, where a driver starts way back in Grid and is 30 seconds behind. Those races may have 30+ cars though, that‘s real.

I think it was one of the GT3 Nisssan Academy drivers, at Monza, passed 18 cars in a couple laps. Doesn’t happen every race, but sometimes it does. ;)

Thank god I only really care for purchasing more ordinary cars and modifying them, else I'd be up in arms about this...

Jokes aside that's just silly with how hard it is to earn money in the game without buying microtransactions. Don't do this to us PD...
I'm not bothering with anything above 1.5M Cr., it's just not worth doing the same mind numbing race to get it, and even if i did there's no event to use the XJ13.

In a way, that’s like real racing. Everyone chases the fastest car to win. Many racers don’t win: talent, budget, car set up. If a players car isn’t fully tuned, there’s less chance to chase the rabbit. For these races, prizes are awarded for not finishing first. Again, yes, the object of racing is to win overall. However, racing can still be fun, by just seeing how well a player does, regardless of going for the win.
I have no idea what point you’re trying to make.

My thing why does everyone have to have these cars right now? And I agree with you guys 12.M? Nahh they can keep that 😆 I’ll gladly wait once I’m months into the game… Have anyone of you got a nice Car as your ticket prize? I got Carrera GT… 2.3 mil, when I saw that I was like…😁

@mastretta_mx Bro don’t feel like that, I spent 2 hours on the last license test S-10 for gold..😭😭😭

Interesting day today. Got as far as the WTC600 challenge (menu 33?) and decided to use the recommended car from my garage, the Ford GT 06. Gave up after a single lap at Red Bull in the rain, bought Intermediates. Went back, won that race. Race 2 is Suzuka, Sport Soft tyres, struggled to stay on the track for the whole race. Almost undriveable tbh. It was better at Dragon Trail Seaside, but not good enough. Rethink time. M3 07 was being liveried already, so time for wing, wheels and tyres, because tyres seemed to be the crux. First at Red Bull, despite wettest ever, fully aquaplaning along the start/finish straight, more than 2 laps with nothing in front of me. Suzuka on Racing Meds, third but I hate that track, so happy enough. Dragon Trail, first. Close but first. Happy days. Lesson? For me at least, tyres not turbos are the most important upgrade.

Managed to finish the menu books today. Only have the last 2 missions, most of the circuit experiences, and a few of the music events left to do.
