Also for a game which they centered around car collecting there really isn't enough chance to admire and explore your collection as it grows.I do genuinely like the concept of the café. The idea of working your way up the ladder there, bringing your cars to a place filled with people that want to talk to you and tell you about it, meeting designers etc. is awesome. That does embody GT.
The main problem is the fact that they maybe lived up to about 10% of its potential. The café is fine whilst you're actively going through it, they do have dialogue for a fair amount of the reward cars you get during it. But then it just ends. You don't get to work your way up to the top of the ladder, you don't get to hear more about legendary cars or hear insight into their design, and you don't even really go to many places, there's so many tracks with just 1 or 2 events. And then it just stops, at a random odd number.
I'm more than happy for them to develop it further. It needs it.
Why don't we have a Leno-esque garage we can walk around, move cars around, have other people round to look. How much more fun would that be?
7 Things That May Surprise You If You Visit Jay Leno's Garage
We spend some time drooling over the machinery at Jay Leno's Garage and check out his new line of car care products.

Instead we build up a collection and never see them without taking them to a track.
