I quite like it. A good mix of fast sweeping corners and some slower precision corners!
Those slow precision corners kill me, especially when they have no runoff and just a guard rail awaiting me if I slip up.

I wanted La Sarthe as a Gr.1 track, not this!

I've learn to tolerate it. But it was quite frustrating the 1st time I drive there.
I will learn to tolerate it, but right now; I'm too angry to even to do that. 🤬 that track.

It was always like that. I never once played the music rally.
Figured I had to complete it first time. With my alt, seeing how much I can skip, while trying not to buy extra cars.
I was expecting that too! Imagine not having a Gr.1 race at LeMans.

Is PD finally using their Pikes Peak license, with a scapes location?

That’d be nice. A Suzuki at Pike’s Peak. ;) Might be able to swap that car for a couple others. :sly:

It's also nothing like the EF-7. The EF-7 was a car going into production, there's no way Fittipaldi Motors didn't have first dibs on them rights, and depending on how/why they closed, those rights almost certainly now belong to someone that doesn't have to honour a defunct comapany's agreement with a third party.
Speaking of the VGT program, I think it's interesting that we haven't really seen any VGTs from some brands we know are participating, like Nike, GM Design, Ford, and Tesla, but instead, we're getting VGTs out of nowhere from brands like Suzuki and likely Genesis. I do like surprises, for what that's worth.

Also, I swear that I saw a job posting at PD for a mobile developer, well after the launch of GT Sport and its corresponding mobile app. Makes me hope that if B-Spec does return in any way, it could be as a mobile app that you could leave idle while you work or otherwise go about your day. Sort of like enabling Adventure Sync in Pokemon GO, where even if you close the app, the game can still run in some ways.

EDIT: I think the actual page with the upcoming VGT brands isn't meant to be accessed. Like, it's still an active page, but you need to basically Google it, as I can't find a way to access it on the main site. It also lists Lamborghini as one of the "coming soon" brands, so I think that's evidence pointing to the idea that it's an outdated page, and that we should instead follow this official page for anything relating to VGTs.

EDIT2: I still can't really get over how lame some VGTs are, like the ones from Toyota, BMW, Mitsubishi, and Subaru. Oh cool, you just took a pre-existing concept and put some parts on it. I hope they're given another swing at it, still there's so much potential for those brands. And I hope Pininfarina gets another crack at it, too, given that the EF7 is no more. Maybe this time, the Pininfarina VGT could be added as an actual Pininfarina model, alongside the Battista.

Before we got the Suzuki VGT, I thought of the Bertone project. No big loss, but a shame we didn’t get to see a final version.

The Gr.1 Prototype event has cemented my dislike for St. Croix as a race track, most frustrating track ever!
The B layout is quite okay, and almost up there with the best original circuits they’ve done. However, the longer configurations with the lifeless forest section are just odd. Those feel like the sort of place you’d encounter in a dream, and the next morning wonder where that impulse came from.

I hate it too... but I do really enjoy the super bumpy sections around the bridge. It's an interesting change to be driving on a track surface that isn't perfect and has some character. Reminds me of some sections of certain GT4 city circuits.

I'm struggling with the Circuit Experience in St. Croix. All sectors gold achieved but i just can't put a good lap together.

Sainte Croix feels like an attempt to simulate a Golden era road circuit, something like Pescara, Reims etc, but today.
The last "village" section looks credible, but the sections where the roads go from nowhere to nowhere in (kinda) straight angles should be reprofiled.

They do a terrible job of it if that was their aim. 80% of the track just doesnt look like any real track that existed in any part of motorsport history. Roads that are 30m wide dont cut through flat forested sections with sharp corners for no reason, let alone the suspension bridge.

The 2J is still glitched even with the new patch, so I am currently first in the world for the Alsace Human Comedy mission.

The tune is provided, though I don't know how long it will last before it is fixed.

Indeed. I believe if they integrate the bridge as something from the modern traffic "cutting" through the "older" layout, it could be a lot more credible. If I remember correctly, a section of Reims is part of a highway today, for example. I don't mind those unique assets if they create a sense of uniqueness in the scenery, like the ravine in Deep Forest. But the 30m wide sharp corners should go.

Current favourite race is the 30 minute WTC700 Le Mans. I love the way that, although the weather always comes in round about the start of lap 3, you never know what you're going to get. I've gone in for IMs then and come second. I've also done it and come about 12th because barely any rain actually happened. Or held off because it looked like the rain would miss and then it didn't. Cue 4 minutes of aquaplaning on slicks followed by cooked IMs because it stopped earlier than expected too. The AIs might not change a lot, but my race is always different. Love it.
LOL. Acquaplaning like mad. I typically use the GrB Toyota 86 (serious fun, but gear it to 330 km/h). I use softs, and occasionally get caught out by torrential rain. I think my record must be about 10 collisions with roadside barriers down Mulsanne :-)

God Of War will not come to PC. Why should it... oh wait?

Sony did change their exclusives approach. I think we will see much more games from Sony on PC, and GT7 is natural fit.
I would love to see gt in pc.
That way we would have the first gt vs forza direct competition. Who would sell more?

I caught what it seems to be a bug. With Alfa romeo 155 gr4 in le mans 700pp 30mins. When its rainning, the red braking mark on the ground sometimes wont appear. Only happened in this race with this car

after two 1-Star tickets in a row (141k collector points!), I debated skipping today’s daily workout. Hobbled together some CE sectors, got a 4-star ticket.

I got my second Bore-Up S for an 03 Quattro. I do not have the car. Played every day no engine swaps. Without the daily combo bonus and having collected most of the cars… I guess it’s back to only turning on my console on good race weeks.
