Actually the PS5 version is around 113GB for now.I was thinking of buying gt7 since i think gran turismo has the best representation of the p1 gtr and i want the best version of this car.
But i have a question looking at the ps5 store it says 188GB is that right?
GT7 has every M3 generation except the E36 and G81 M4. That’s fewer holes than we find in the Impreza lineup.I'd much rather see PD fill up the holes in the BMW 3 series lineage before adding a bunch of Imprezas that aren't all that much different from the ones we already have.
There are two obvious Subaru road cars missing. The Group A base models for the Legacy & Impreza. But what’s really needed are Euro saloons & hot-hatches. The Ford Sierra & Escort Cosworth’s, Peugeot 205 GTI, Renault Clio Williams etc.GT7 has every M3 generation except the E36 and G81 M4. That’s fewer holes than we find in the Impreza lineup.
This is one reason why I am shelving GT7 for the time being. Each update does nothing to address the problems in this game. A couple of useless cars and a track layout isn't good enough to keep player interest long-term. How about removing car invites, putting ucd and lcd cars into the brand central, fixing multiplayer issues, lobby connectivity issues, fixing time trial no music issue, adding back being paid for hotlapping, and maybe even making special extreme ticket parts and engines buyable in tuning shop. Do these things PD and I will gladly fork over some dollars for an mtx, but until then this game has no chance of being the most complete GT and you lose me as a player and customer...Kaz: Nurburgring Type V and 3 cars, another mx5 ND, VGT and an electric overpowered car for you
I don't have an issue with the things you mentioned in particular, but I had other things that bothered me. I might try other games in the meantime, though I think instead of straight-up quitting GT7, I might only play it every two or three days.Well I said months ago that I'd retire GT7, but I thought that was merely smoke and mirrors, until today when I began thinking about how much more fun I had with Sport and so day has come to uninstall 7 until its faults are fixed. But sadly I don't ever see that happening. Some of these faults are so ingrained into the core design philosophy of 7 that they can't be fixed without serious action being taken. Things such as hagerty pricing, dumb roulette wheel ticket system, cars on a wait with your thumb up your ass period. Nah. No thanks. I've given it enough time and ultimately decided to go back to the superior GTS.
Honest question: In the history of racing games, has anyone ever included the Foxbody? I seriously cannot remember a single title that has ever included one (Not even the single DTM entry some mad lad ran back in the day)As much as I want a Foxbody, I have zero faith they're gonna put it in the game.
I think some of the recent Need for Speed games have included it.Honest question: In the history of racing games, has anyone ever included the Foxbody? I seriously cannot remember a single title that has ever included one (Not even the single DTM entry some mad lad ran back in the day)
You're more than free to continue playing... I'm not here to say people should stop playing if they enjoy it. I'm simply expressing my own personal grievances with the product presented to us.I don't have an issue with the things you mentioned in particular, but I had other things that bothered me. I might try other games in the meantime, though I think instead of straight-up quitting GT7, I might only play it every two or three days.
The gap with nothing in between the ‘99 WRX and the ‘14 WRX is one of the weirdest things about the GT7 car list. These cars are JDM icons and there are none from the decade in which they started to gain a lot of international recognition.
I mean never mind those cars, how in the world are the MkI and MkIII MR2's not included?! Talk about pure driving cars, just...what?Yeah, I think it’s similar with the Lancer Evolution, and I’d argue the Honda Civic Type R, too. But at least I think the datamined car list had some WRX STI and Lancer Evolution models that’d bridge the gaps.
Honestly, I’d also love to see - and either in GT7 or GT8 - the various tuned WRX STI models that start with an S and then three digits. I think one of them was in GT6. I also really want the Legacy B4 Blitzen that was designed by Porsche, but then again, this isn’t a wishlist thread…
And a lot less holes found on the Lotus lineup... oops sorry.GT7 has every M3 generation except the E36 and G81 M4. That’s fewer holes than we find in the Impreza lineup.
I'd be fine with the C8 Z06 and the "normal" P1. Hopefully we'll get either the GTE or GT3 version of the C8 through the IMSA partnership. Why doesn't pd add cars like the normal p1 and the c8 corvette? I mean they have a good relationship with those car companies.
At this point is there no hope for the c8 or even the c8r race car?
Don't forget about the poor 720s + GT3 version and the new GT4Why doesn't pd add cars like the normal p1 and the c8 corvette? I mean they have a good relationship with those car companies.
Or the Senna, the Speedtail, and possibly others like the GT, Artura, Sabre, and the upcoming Solus.Don't forget about the poor 720s and the GT3 version and the new GT4
I mean, can't have any holes in something if it doesn't exist in the first place. And a lot less holes found on the Lotus lineup... oops sorry.
Yeeeeeah, that's not it. Aside from not being the Gran Turismo way (about half the road car list from any previous GT game that actually had a single-player career has been old and slow), car brands want to promote their new and recent stuff and see no value in promoting older stuff; if you happen to get really excited by racing an old car in a game, you'll try to find one in the classifieds rather than go to that brand's dealer to try to buy an entirely different new car. There's a reason only newer Mustangs and Camaros are featured in the game. They're actually good cars.
We have the Alfa 145, A3, New Beetle, Polos, Lupo, 3-series Compact/Ti(remember that?), Cougar(Probe), Focus, Corsa, 106, Cougar, in previous games. It’s just been too long not to have the Sierra and others. There are two obvious Subaru road cars missing. The Group A base models for the Legacy & Impreza. But what’s really needed are Euro saloons & hot-hatches. The Ford Sierra & Escort Cosworth’s, Peugeot 205 GTI, Renault Clio Williams etc.
Gran Turismo has always lacked the everyday euro cars.
I rmemeber the Cobra in Forza( 3 or 4?). I’d try to make a 5.0 LX back in the day.Honest question: In the history of racing games, has anyone ever included the Foxbody? I seriously cannot remember a single title that has ever included one (Not even the single DTM entry some mad lad ran back in the day)
Drive around Willow Springs for 30 minutes and come back to me on that. The feature is very much in the game and works fine, it's just set to accumulate way too slowly. Willow is the only place I've found where your car is visibly grubby after a decent stint.-Because it will only be on the PS5, it very well may be a lot more robust in some aspects. For example, I think that the cross-gen facet of GT7 is why we don't see oil stains, brake dust, etc. that much on our car, barring the ability to toggle them in scapes.
Sorry Famine i didn't mean for my post to sound like a wishlist i only brought it up cause since there's the p1 gtr and the c7 vette already in the game i just find it weird that those models are missing.Oh, we're doing wishlists again are we?

Of course other brands think that getting people into the heritage cars gets them into considering the brand, especially if they're kids who grow up wanting to buy a car from that brand.
As someone who themselves went from Wireless to wired (Thanks to a ridiculously long cable my older sister brought), I wouldn't say you'll be faster but you'll find it much more stable and connection to be far more consistent (as opposed to hoping your bars stay at 4 and don't suddenly decide to subtract by 2, That and provided your internet provider is not a horrible mess). As for qualifying, its effectively just offline trails and I never noticed a difference myself so I wouldn't expect to see a huge difference. Here's a question I wonder about that doesn't need its own thread, but I have wifi on my Ps5. I'm too far from the router to be wired. I don't see any great effect, it seems ok when I'm racing, but would being wired make me faster just from the increased connection. My other question is what about qualifying? Yes, you quali on your own but since the game is always online would it affect frame rates or something that would make me slower?
I heard there was some sort of licensing issue with it, even when it appeared in GT6.I have wondered why the Deltawing wasn't continued in the franchise. It was an oddball at Le Mans and PD seem to enjoy these types of cars
