OK, I know it's late, but I hadn't played for a few days over Xmas and it annoyed me even more today. So:

When you pitstop, the tyres put on are shown as the same as the tyres being taken off, not necessarily the tyres you have actually picked. Why? The graphic isn't loaded until after you've picked, so why? I know it's a silly thing, but it niggles me at almost every pitstop

I read the probability of getting an invite in a 4,5 or 6 star ticket is about 10%. Now divide that by 7 different tickets you have about 1,4% chance of getting a specific ticket. PD could have unlocked the brand invite cars for a few days on christmas. That would have been a good decision, a show of respect for the community. But they just dont want to, even after being criticized. I dont understand why. What do they gain with this?

The decision to lock cars behind rng tickets without any other way of getting them is about one the stupidest decisions ever by PD. They could have even been greedy and sell then on the ps store and, I bet, there would have been a lot of players that would buy them that way. They would have, surelly, made money on that, but no... .
PD just defies common sense.
Good points. I'm missing just six cars now, but 2 are invitation carts I was offered at the beginning when I had no credits available. Now on the extremely rare occasion that I get another and not another 5 or 10 thousand insulting credits, it's always for something I already have.

The way this game economy is, the crap with the LD, and several other things they aren't trying to make better, the lack of communication, the lack of recognition of these problems, with all this I can have no respect for 'Kaz' and his co-designers. This is a sad offering from a game design standpoint. Artists and engineers did a great job. From a single-player viewpoint, the game is like someone's first attempt, not his eighth.

A mystery that's up there with the Pantera's "Powered by Ford" badge missing during any race.

Yep, always triggers anxiety that I selected the wrong compound, especially when going from dry to wet/wet to dry tyres...

Serviceable is a really low bar to clear. We should expect more.

Le Mans is actually piss poor quality. Horrendous pop in, low detail and vegetation clipping through everywhere.

Agree on le man being one of the most ugly tracks I have ever seen in a game.

But it does have next gen buildings

to be honest... i didn't notice any problems with those tracks xD Maybe I just don't watch the details but just drive the cars xD
The environment and landscape are part of the driving experience.

When people go on a nice drive or a road trip, they drive to somewhere beautiful. They don't just drive around their local Denny's parking lot.

Only if you stop , as i said before most people go over 300km/h and barely notice 😜
That's a poor excuse if that's the case why even add any detail at all.

Another track that comes to mind is Mount Panorama in my short time with grid legends the first time I race in that track I remember I went WOW at how detail and beautiful Mount Panorama is in that game. When I raced in Mount Panorama in gt7 I didn't have that same feelings about Mount Panorama.

That's not a excuse , just stated the obvious 😅

and it is only that part of the track that is unfinished?
Games like gt are what people want them to be if you wanna drive at 300km/h and ignore how bad le man is then its more then fine. But I like to free run and sight see in my game and that's what I do 95% of the time just ask PCARS 2 :).

Pd is a great developer and to see the state of le man is pretty sad giving how beautiful there car models are.

To be fair, yeah, when you are going as fast as possible and you are concentrated on the race and keeping the car on the road you won't notice some imperfections about tracks. But in that case let's just port the tracks directly from PS2 era, should be good enough, right?

Even if the tracks look "good enough" while driving, with more details they will still look much better even while driving, the difference will be noticable.

Well within reason of course.

Perfect world yes, everything in background spot on, but case of time, dismissing returns and overall effect on user experience.

Seems it bugs some more than others.

“You don’t notice it when you drive 300km/h” is really not an excuse.

We can all agree that the tracks are inconsistent - and there’s really no excuse for that.

Le Mans greets you with a low quality texture in the pit lane right in the opening cutscene. Come on guys.

In a game with so much attention to photography and detail, "but 300km/h though" isn't really an excuse.

It doesn't bother me personally. I don't take photos often, I never noticed anything wrong even on Le Mans, though it never looked particularly pretty either. It works for racing, absolutely. But it's also fair to point out that it isn't up to the standard of many other tracks in the game.

Have not have chance to try the car selling feature since it come in november update, its better than i thought, maybe the best selling feature we have in hole series, earn millions just by selling one set of duplicates, and i have many more i can sell that i have 4-5 of each, would not be supriced if its worth 10 mil or more by selling all my duplicates

It's ok, it's not the best because it's uneccessarily restrictive limiting you to selling one of each type of car in any given 24hr period for... Reasons. They giveth and they taketh away.

Earlier games it wasn't perfect, it was a fixed percentage of the cars new value, but you could sell whatever you wanted, when you wanted. From a purely gameplay point of view, there's very little wrong with that. If they wanted to make it a really good system, you should be able to buy and sell what you want, when you want, but the sale value of a car should alter depending on how many of that model are being sold. Hagerty cars should be able to be sold for pretty much what the current Hagerty value for that model is adjusted for any mileage you've put on it. But it's not, for.... More reasons.

But this would add something of a layer of stratergy in buying the LCD cars, do you but this car on the basis it's value may increase int he coming months and sell it for more than you paid? That'd be a cool extra dimension, but nope... Reasons. they can only reflect the real worl value of the cars when you buy them, that's not reflected when you sell them, of course no.

Everything in GT7 is designed to slow down how quickly you can earn Cr without punting for MTX's. I wouldn't mind if the game was F2P or even a budget purchase, but it's not.
