I prefer the fxxk by far over McLarens p1 gtr, fxxk accelerate a bit faster, to me it looks much more exciting, its just a little shame we can’t upgrade its power

Love Zolder personally. Together with Kyalami probably the real word Track I want the most for GT7.

A direct link to Sony's CES Press Conference stream.

Starts in a little over 24hrs as of posting this link. PSVR2 is the cover image, plus we know the Sony/Honda self-driving car will be heavily featured.

Nearly 2000 HP. 1822hp

I like Zolder aka ‘Chicaneville’. It’s a wild ride. The cars smash through the chicanes, the blind crest, love the long turn 2 right-hander. I bet GT players new to Zolder, would hate its final sector more than Fuji’s final sector. Another good equaliser of a circuit.

Same for Zandvoort. If players dislike Autopolis, imagine the loops Zandvoort would throw them for. :sly:

I just got a Ferrari invitation for the third time out of my last four 4 star tickets. If you own all of that brand’s invitational cars, and they don’t want to make them an earnable thing through driving that brand’s cars, then just remove the invitation requirement, and the invitations from the tickets.

I know you’re not going to get much most of the time from a 4 star, but still. They’re literally pointless if you own all of that brand’s invitational vehicles.

You might want a duplicate, that's pretty much the only reason.
I got the Porsche Carrera GT through the menu books, messed it up badly with irreversible tuning and then luckily got an invite so I could buy a new unmolested one.
It would make more sense to just remove the invite system once you have all that manufacturers cars, but then a lot of this game doesn't make sense.

Oh, indeed, yeah, just wish they’d let you buy it without the invite once tho purchased one, then removed it from the roulette pool. PD do make some odd or underbaked decisions. Maybe it just never crossed their mind, and fair enough, but changing how it works would be welcome. In any case, it seems they know that it’s not fondly looked upon because the 918 and Chiron weren’t locked behind invitations, whereas had they been launch cars, they surely would’ve been.

Just a few days till my 2 month anniversary since I started with gt7 Some of my stats so far.:)

Sadly the game just won't let me buy the fxx-k in fact I haven't received any invites for any brand in over a month none.

Nice one, thanks mate. Just skimmed it, I'm sure she'll appreciate it

Haha, I've seen Victoria in daily races. Seems to prefer skull and cross bones/mad max styling!

Next step is to start 'lessons', so demonstrating how to take corners/turns. She's hyper competitive so is keen to learn so that she's 'better than everyone ekse' by the time she's 8 and can start karting. She was upset that proper championships/competitions don't appear am option until she's 12.

I encourage, but don't force anything in a domineering way. Amazing how strong willed, competitive kids can be so young. She was distraught at last summers school sports day, after stumbling in the sprint during 1st race whilst out in fromt nesr the end. Balling her eyes out whole afternoon, then when it was time for next rsce, rolled up and won remaining 4 events, but was crying with upset between races after not winning 1st rsce. Try to harness that competitive edge, but formulating how to teach her how to deal with defeat, as no one wins all the time. Don't want to dilute tge competativess, hunger to succeed, (minimising any pressure of course, no exprctstions/demands from me of course too) but how to conduct yourself well/gracefully if winning and how to deal with losing etc. Everything is about winning at the moment bless her.

Anyway, I ramble on. Time for some deadlifts, pullups to capatalize on excess cafeinne... :D

@Famine note ive worked out the quote button on my phone. Where's my medal. Your workload has just dropped by 50% ;)
Happy new year chief.
Mannn I wish my kids had a semblance of competitiveness! Instead, they go to do something for the 1st time and expect to know how to do it but then refuse to practice or to keep trying!

Yeah tbf that happened with tennis last summer. She went a few times then started coming up with excuses. Worked out she felt bad/hurt pride as wasn't that good compared to others. So spent most evenings throwing a ball to her and then she was happy to return :D

Kids today; no resilience. One of my nieces is the same way. Even when I tell her that she is doing great and ahead of the curve, she'll just give up after a mistake.

...I wonder if PD will ever realize the current implementation of the UCD, and more importantly the LCD, are crippling what could be a good experience. If you're anything like me you're the type of person that buys a car, drives it, sells it for cash to buy another one. Having been one to sell most of my cars, it is rather demotivating to play when you've got to wait days and weeks for a car to appear again.

We also had the point A to B rally stages in snow. I quite liked those. Proper wait in line rally starts.
Those were randomly generated stages I recall, made with GT5's weird circuit maker feature. I wouldn't be surprised if the circuit maker feature came back in its closer to GT6 form, but probably not anytime soon.

Would be awesome to see the GT5 style rally championship events that took place over multiple stages come back.

Also with all of the new classic car additions to GT7 a return of the Goodwood Hillclimb layout would be great to see, along with its own group of mission challenge events.
