It could do with a greater variety of online races. A longer format one perhaps. Maybe a race with time change / night. Dynamic weather and tuning are occasionally included but it would be nice to have events with these parameters as a permanent thing, in addition to the current 3 options.

The very first sport race at release at Daytona had the night transition cycle even with the road surface temp changing. They have the ability to implement anything at anytime, but they just don’t for some reason.

So I can see the positives and negatives in this update, but obviously we won’t get the full picture until it drops tomorrow.
The Positives
Sophy - this for me is a big upgrade! The current AI sucks and Sophy last time was fun to race against. I just hope Sophy can be done on custom races to allow me to practice GTWS races.
Track - so Montreal was the big rumour and I’d have preferred that track, but I have no issues with the Snow track. It’s nice to have some more rally features as they is only 3 rally track (or is it 4)
Cars - few cars im interested in and some I’m not. 2 new race cars (in Gr3) would have been a big welcome I think.
Single player - I’m a big fan of single player. I like been able to just potter around at my leisure in single player. Hopefully these new missions and cafe books provided some good content.

Dashboard - not bothered about that, I never really look at it anyway. A refresh I guess with more info might be useful
4 player multiplayer - do people even use this feature? Im lucky to have my PS4 Pro still and a PS5 so I’d rather just set up another rig next to me and have side by side consoles running then sharing a screen
Sports Mode - so very little known with this, but I guess some new improvement here would be welcomed. Adjustment to penalty system, 20 player lobbies, and a qualifying session

Just tell them the LFA is coming to GT7.. they'll understand.
I'm actually really warming up to this snow track (probably a poor choice of words).
It's our first time with snow since GT6, it'll be interesting to see how the physics handle, especially compared to dirt.
And if there is falling snow.. especially lit up by the trackside lights at night. Yeah I like this.

Really really looking forward towards this update. Really good additions, great cars, new content and although Sophy won't be a thing for me as i'm on PS4 it's still great. In my opinion the track is meh, i could care less about rally in GT7. Would've rather had a new racetrack like the rumoured Canadian GP track. I like that it's in the snow though.

I have a question about Sophy... will Sophy be learning our driving styles and capabilities? Meaning, if two people are racing on track X with car Y, and person A is a much faster driver than person B, will Sophy react to that and either speed up for person A and/or slow down for person B? Rather than a one size fits all.
It would be cool if that was the case so everyone can race hard against Sophy and not just get smoked (which we all would). And, as the user gets better so does Sophy.
Hopefully that made sense.

I don’t want to get into wishlisting, but anyone who frequents Sport mode will have a list as long as their arm as to the kinds of improvements they’d like to see.

With going into the snow to Canada, this might get the Montreal F1 track, pretty please? There were/are several rumours on this somewhat way back
