Ok they didnt give a date though I dont believe. It just sounds like it's something they are working and will add to the game before its support run ends.Yeah that was like 5 months ago.

As we're now thoroughly into the era of large game updates, I don't think we'll see GT8 until the next gen consoles. Unless there needs to be a large overhaul of the game engine, PD will likely keep updating and tweaking GT7. As for Scapes, well those serve the car photography fanatics...For GT8 I sure hope they remove scapes out of the game altogether so they can’t clutter up patch notes with that anymore…
You have to get inside the mind of Kaz to really understand these updates!I still don't get how these updates are supposed to be appealing. Or rather, who they're supposed to be appealing to.
It's in Colorado. So where is Pikes Peak?
This is the Nurburgring/Goodwood (2019) specification, not the Pikes Peak version.ID.R is the interesting addition here, and it's yet another car in the game that made its reputation on Pikes Peak
Can't you see your driver in replays if you enable RT? (genuine question, I don't have the PS5 ver)They are still advertising you can see your driver in the rear view mirror when you cannot along with the ability too sell cars, have no faith in PD anymore.
Pikes peak scapes will prbably come with the track in the future...So where is Pikes Peak? As matter of fact, they couldn't even release it as a scapes location, even though it featured on the Suzuki VGT trailer? Seriously what the **** is up with that?
The S14 is nothing new to the series(and it doesn't interests me at all) and the Porsche VGT should not have taken an slot of the new DLC cars since it isn't that much different from the Porsche VGT that is already in the game.
The ID.R is the only interesting addition here, but it's yet another car added to the game that made its reputation on Pikes Peak, yet the track itself is still a non-shower even though PD has the license to use it...So the car is not enough to salvage this lame update.
Still can't sell the cars, still no Sophy, lobbies are a lag fest, sport mode is still garbage where the ratings hardly even matters....Not to mention the complete lack of events and things to do in single player.
It's getting insulting at this point, we deserve better than this.
...My hard disk is running out of room and now I'm considering unintalling GT7 for good because I haven't turned the game on for over two months by now.
It’s already in the game as a scape iirc? Didn’t it come with the EscudoPikes peak scapes will prbably come with the track in the future
Nope, that was Watkins Glen scapes location. It’s already in the game as a scape iirc? Didn’t it come with the Escudo
That's a far reach IMO. Why wouldn't they include the track with the most iconic car that ran it? Don't get me wrong, I would love to see it, but I don't see it happening.Pikes peak scapes will prbably come with the track in the future
Assuming that it will ever come, my interest in this game died down so much that I'll probably have sold my copy when that happens(if it happens)It’s already in the game as a scape iirc? Didn’t it come with the Escudo
And the ticket will be for a racing muffler or a fully customizable computer… 🫠🫠🫠Have a feeling there will be an extra cafe menu for the Silvias. Acquire S13, S14 and S15 to get 1 6 star roulette ticket.
Let's see friday if it gets the "Pikes Peak" tag, or just "race car" only. This is the Nurburgring/Goodwood (2019) specification, not the Pikes Peak version.
Ahh, weird - I guess in my mind it made so much sense that I fabricated a new reality to suit lol.. my bad!Nope, that was Watkins Glen scapes location.
yeah, tired of these VISION CArs....I'm a little disappointed that PD thinks the Porsche VGT Spyder is substantial enough to take up a car slot this month, but hey. We got the IDR and the S14!
But honestly, I'm far more interested in whatever QoL updates that will come in this update, if any at all.
I don't even think PD knows the answer to that question. And I don't get how anybody can accept that these lame updates are acceptable. New content aside, there are so many things still wrong with and absent from this game, you would think it was released a month ago. Not 7...I still don't get how these updates are supposed to be appealing. Or rather, who they're supposed to be appealing to.
Because they're free. At least from most comments I see on youtube, facebook, etc.I don't even think PD knows the answer to that question. And I don't get how anybody can accept that these lame updates are acceptable.
That’s really the issue, people don’t value their time - so long as it’s free why complain!Because they're free. At least from most comments I see on youtube, facebook, etc.
I know right? It's a racing game for crying out loud, I get there is people interested in that but it just seems that it's all PD care about, while we are all crying at the state of the game😔 They have tons of things to focus on, but instead they keep on working in bloody scapes to add! Instead of tracks, events, TELEMETRY!!!!What‘s PD obsession with scapes? Give us more events to race on please..
PD could have it tagged as #bicycle in GT7 and it wouldn't change the fact the car in GT7 isn't the Pikes Peak car.Let's see friday if it gets the "Pikes Peak" tag, or just "race car" only.
You know five people after this will still bring up the Pikes Peak car. You do know this, right?PD could have it tagged as #bicycle in GT7 and it wouldn't change the fact the car in GT7 isn't the Pikes Peak car.
This is the Pikes Peak (and Goodwood 2018) car:

This is the Nurburgring and Goodwood 2019 car:

(although the Goodwood version used a slightly lower wing, with additional end elements, compared to the 'Ring version)
And this is the Tianmen 2019 car:

It was also reworked again for 2020:
