...So where is Pikes Peak? As matter of fact, they couldn't even release it as a scapes location, even though it featured on the Suzuki VGT trailer? Seriously what the **** is up with that?

The S14 is nothing new to the series(and it doesn't interests me at all) and the Porsche VGT should not have taken an slot of the new DLC cars since it isn't that much different from the Porsche VGT that is already in the game.

The ID.R is the only interesting addition here, but it's yet another car added to the game that made its reputation on Pikes Peak, yet the track itself is still a non-shower even though PD has the license to use it...So the car is not enough to salvage this lame update.

Still can't sell the cars, still no Sophy, lobbies are a lag fest, sport mode is still garbage where the ratings hardly even matters....Not to mention the complete lack of events and things to do in single player.

It's getting insulting at this point, we deserve better than this.

...My hard disk is running out of room and now I'm considering unintalling GT7 for good because I haven't turned the game on for over two months by now.

For GT8 I sure hope they remove scapes out of the game altogether so they can’t clutter up patch notes with that anymore…
As we're now thoroughly into the era of large game updates, I don't think we'll see GT8 until the next gen consoles. Unless there needs to be a large overhaul of the game engine, PD will likely keep updating and tweaking GT7. As for Scapes, well those serve the car photography fanatics...
I still don't get how these updates are supposed to be appealing. Or rather, who they're supposed to be appealing to.
You have to get inside the mind of Kaz to really understand these updates!

Go down to your local race track, stroke some race cars, sniff tires and exhausts, maybe lick some stuff in the engine bay to taste the experience, really breath in the pit fumes, talk to people like you know what is going on! Maybe fly to another country to do the same at a foreign race track! I think once you've done that you'll really understand the difference between what people who race real cars day-in-day-out want and what gamers playing a game want, and see these 3 cars as something amazing to really be appreciated!

Or not, 'cause we're just gamers and car enthusiasts that would like meaningful updates instead of 3 cars that most of us will probably not use beyond a few hot laps...

This is surely some sick joke, right?

They are still advertising you can see your driver in the rear view mirror when you cannot along with the ability too sell cars, have no faith in PD anymore.
Can't you see your driver in replays if you enable RT? (genuine question, I don't have the PS5 ver)

Pikes peak scapes will prbably come with the track in the future

Please fix the glitching lobbies first before anymore cars and scapes I will never use.

That's a far reach IMO. Why wouldn't they include the track with the most iconic car that ran it? Don't get me wrong, I would love to see it, but I don't see it happening.

Goddamn, they never miss putting scapes in the game. Was there any update that didn't have new scapes introduced? Jesus there's already like what thousands of scapes in the game?

Anyway, no new track was a given. Not surprised, obviously still disappointed though.

Tomorrow is the big one... Selling cars!!! You just know it's coming. 😏 Called it here first folks.

I don't even think PD knows the answer to that question. And I don't get how anybody can accept that these lame updates are acceptable. New content aside, there are so many things still wrong with and absent from this game, you would think it was released a month ago. Not 7...

I’m fine with the Silvia. Finally, a fully rendered version of the real car I should have bought( the USA-spec 240SX). Look like the Color too.

Because they're free. At least from most comments I see on youtube, facebook, etc.
That’s really the issue, people don’t value their time - so long as it’s free why complain!

I’ve been a fan of Gran Turismo since the very first title, and now I don’t even want to touch it - it’s so devoid of substance, with sports mode being a complete mess you’re left with an incomplete shell of a single player but hey, at least we got new VGT cars..

What‘s PD obsession with scapes? Give us more events to race on please..
I know right? It's a racing game for crying out loud, I get there is people interested in that but it just seems that it's all PD care about, while we are all crying at the state of the game😔 They have tons of things to focus on, but instead they keep on working in bloody scapes to add! Instead of tracks, events, TELEMETRY!!!!

Let's see friday if it gets the "Pikes Peak" tag, or just "race car" only.
PD could have it tagged as #bicycle in GT7 and it wouldn't change the fact the car in GT7 isn't the Pikes Peak car.

This is the Pikes Peak (and Goodwood 2018) car:

This is the Nurburgring and Goodwood 2019 car:

(although the Goodwood version used a slightly lower wing, with additional end elements, compared to the 'Ring version)

And this is the Tianmen 2019 car:

It was also reworked again for 2020:

After the`pretty excited about tomorrow`tweet fingers crossed for a new or returning track, maybe they havent revealed everything, ever the optomist but.....
On the flipside i hope they dont alter the pp too much,i spent ages messing with my tunes to match the new settings.

For whatever reason, I think this update will be QOL-heavy. Which to be honest, would probably be more valuable to the longevity of this game atm, compared to content they could drop anytime over the next 18 months

You know five people after this will still bring up the Pikes Peak car. You do know this, right? ;)
