What feels like half the VGTs and other "concept" cars.

I'm so happy a late '60s F1 car will finally be available, though I can only imagine how expensive it will be. Lets get the whole roster in and have some vintage races, I need to relive my days with Grand Prix Legends.
Dude. I been grinding Le Mans 700pp for a few hours and I got 9mill CR ready.
That race isn’t so bad of a grind at all - but yes I can’t wait to drive that RA272.
Can’t really believe it’s really coming to GT…. About time

The MP4/4 was “only” 8million so heres hoping this won’t be much more

I've seen people mention having multiples of the same car before.

I've always wanted to ask so I'll ask now: what's the purpose of having multiples of the same car? How does that work?

I'm starting to think I'm missing something.
There's several reasons for this. For example, if you do something to the car (weight reduction, wide body, etc) that can't be reversed, it's nice to a stock version if you need one. Or maybe you just want to have different liveries on the same car. In GTS I had 3 Gr.3 Corvettes that I had gotten on the daily tickets each with a different livery. If I was racing the dailies with the same people, I would switch cars each race just to mess with them. :D I'm at 661 cars and counting

I hope the RA272 will be usable in the Le Mans grind race. That’s my favorite grinding race too and it would be a nice switch up from the few gr 3 cars I like driving.

This will be by far be the worst update in GT7 history, **** cars, most definitely no tracks, and probably terrible events with terrible payouts. The only thing worth a damn in this update is the f1 car. And I'm sorry I'm a peasant, who can't afford a $1,300+ PS5 and VR headset. Kaz, I'm gonna put it plain and simple:

this is what we want:

You can already make 3 of these lol

My own predictions for this update are the following:

-Full PSVR2 support in all modes +VR Showroom
-4 new cars that we already know (the ones from the silhouette)
-1 new track: Grand Valley (both Grand Valley Speedway and Grand Valley East layouts included)
-8-9 new World Circuits races and 3 new Cafè menus
-2-3 new Scapes locations
-Some lobby improvements and lobby features added from GT Sport, and improved lobby stability
-Ability to buy engine swaps and other special parts in Tuning shop
-2P Split Screen fixed

and in the end... some few smaller bug fixes here and there as it always been...

Am I too optimistic or would that be realistic?
You forget rally musical - the vinil "wish you were here" - Pink Floyd

I Like de BMW and GT-R

Was great in rally yes, as well the A220 we have in the game, which, by the way, not even dirt tires can take

I'm glad we're all sure about a Porsche and a DS. Very, very keen for any classic Citroëns.

For the old racer I seem to be way off, my instinct was that it was a 30's GP machine but, clearly I didn't look long enough.

My other instinct was that the sleek car is:

My silhouette instinct is wrong 90% of the time though, so if it is the Birdcage 75th, I'll have to find an edible hat.

The frog prince as we liked to called it in my country is finally back since its time in Enthusia Professional Racing!
Easily my most driven car in that game got it to level 10 in no time very fun to throw around I think I won a touge battle over the Mercedes Benz S600L too as most rear wheel drive cars in that game are almost undrivable with controller and FF and 4WD cars are king.
Can't wait to see what's the new VisionGT this time and also the classic 911 if its a carrera rs 2.7 then this update will easily be the best to me!
Gosh all those gorgeous pastel looking paint jobs on DS are going to looks insane in GT7 let alone in VR!

I Wonder if there will be any car in future that will surpass downforce levels of rb x2014 standard in gt7😅 ... I know in past there were other rb's better, faster, STICKIER but imagine putting tune DF 2000/3000 🤣🤣🤣 just for fun...don't know how in game calculation works..but there were real cars with over 10000 lbs of downforce

Hearing that Honda saddens me because I know it'll never sound raw enough in a Gran Turismo game. But if it does, I'll be pleasantly surprised. I remember one of Senna's old cars back in I think GT5 or 6? Which did have that raw effect. A few others did as well... No idea why they've done away with that in GT7. I've always preferred games like Dirt Rally 2.0 and Project CARS 2 for sound because it's much more intense there.

hopefully will see this car in GT7 at some point. As far as I know, I remember this car being a classic from GT4 and would fit perfectly with the rs 500 cosworth and 190E evo (if it's added).

It would be cool to have a R32 Gr.A Touring Car with the right interior even though we can recreate this in GT7 right now. Though it going against a road going 190E Evo II and Sierra Cosworth wouldn't make any sense. Their touring car counterparts would have to be added aswell for a proper race.

Assetto Corsa Competizione sounds amazing on PS5 so it’s not a limitation of the hardware.
I guess Polyphony Digital have just always struggled to replicate sounds accurately. Of course they’re much better now in GT7 than they were in previous games but with VR placing the user literally in the game with the immersion that brings Its a shame that the sounds aren’t as good as in ACC. It’s still an area that PD can improve on in the future though.

Wonder if their is another sets of silhouttes coming, as it calls big updates, i am not that intrested in this 4 cars besides Porsche, the december pack was way better in terms of cars,
But its proably never get beaten, but if this i
Update besides vr and cars also brings new tracks a lot events i will be fine with it

Not impressed by the selection of cars. I take every (classic) PORSCHE I can get but I'm not interested in the Citroen DS and the VGT. Formula 1 car is for sure cool but very expensive.

Where are the new production cars? :(
Likely an Indycar in a game without Indianapolis.

It can’t? And they even talk about in the game how unique it is that a car like this drove in rally’s. That’s not cool.

I think useless would refer to having no place to go with a car. You can like a vintage F1 car and still find it useless within the game, because where are you going to take it? McDonald’s?
I know it sounds weird, but maybe on a track?
