Maybe they'll add native support for the new Thrustmaster T598 and make the E1-4 encoder make sense in VR.

I can SEE the TCS adjustment, but can't change it until I page over to the right color encoder?!?

As a mostly-functioning human, I wonder why they don't give us the ability to switch between modes in cars that have it. It's a video game, they can do almost anything they want. Why can't I put the top up in an MX5? Why can't I put the gauge cluster in the LF-A into comfort mode? I understand it's more work to implement, but it sure would increase immersion.
Out of all the functioning things you speak of that happens automatically, and the working economy needle in the 190E etc I find it very interesting and lazy that the light in the Evo 8/9 that lights up what surface you drive on isn’t switching.

It's the one thing I'm excited for in assetto Corsa. Being able to choose spec and version of cars sounds childishly fun

I had the disk version from day 1. And have to put the disk in to play it. I thought that is why it shows PS4. How the hell do I get to upgrade it. And if I do, do I loose 800 hours of play and all my cars etc?
No to the last part.

Upgrading depends on which version you bought. The standard version without dual entitlement requires a £10 upgrade, while the 25th Anniversary Edition has dual entitlement already through a download code in the box. There's also a standard version with dual entitlement, but I think that was digital only.

Go to the PlayStation Store and upgrade for free to the PS5 version, you still have to keep the PS4 disc in to play.

You will be able to keep all your cars, but you will "lose" (not able to port over from the PS4 game file to the PS5 game file) the 800 hours along with the replays and photos...

You can switch back and forth, but i don't recommend doing that frequently....

The save file from PD server will serve as the common thread between your local game files.

Cool. So how do I upgrade? I went to the Store and if I click on the GT7 icon it just gives me the 'Play Game' lozenge. The 3 dots roundel next to it has View Product, Follow & H/R/P/T

Hopefully you haven’t been in playing the ps4 version on ps5? You also so need to go get yourself 2 platinum trophy’s 🤣 my first gt plats were on gt7 👊

My update says queued too on PS5, but probably already downloaded in restmode, and the queued thing is also for the installation file?, should be fine on 141 GB free space, we will see tomorrow 😁

What I've found is in my cart but looks lie it wants £69.99.

I think it doesn’t make headlines because Kaz has emphasized that GT7 performance has been developed to be scaleable across different PS systems. You can interpret it as a philosophy where PD doesn’t want players to overthink where they are playing the game with regards to technicalities like resolution and FPS.
Pretty much any time any game developer tries to do this, it doesn't work and they still have to spend tons of time porting to the other system.

I went to the Store
No, it's part of the game's hub on your console:

Nope. Queued isn't downloaded. Cancel it, try again, and if it doesn't initiate have a clear-out. Try again when you hit 168GB free.

Really excited for the Mercedes. Have been reading a lot of books about 1950s motor racing, so it's coming at the right moment.

I love Porsche, but the Turbo S wasn't really a 911 I was hoping for. We need the current GT3 R model, the RSR is seven years old now.
