Ah, this is one of those bad plays I wish I had.
Turning one of the best cars in the world into a panel van for blue-collar workers... 🥳

Was really excited when I saw the 992 turbo s in the lineup and surely wasn't disappointed on my first "flight" around the Nordschleife... to me, probably one of the best - if not the best - road car in the game right now. Stable, predictable and just **** fast as hell - clocked in at 7'08 on the first attempted and took it fairly "easy".

Its just a pity they messed up the dashboard / cockpit of the car, as the speedometer lacks the digital display of kmh / mph and gear, which is identical to the existing 992 GT3 RS in the game... as I'm driving in VR only, its really like "flying blindfolded" 🙃

Curious to hear about the improvements for PS5 Pro especially in combination with the PSVR2 - anybody got their hands on it with this setup yet?

Same disappointment for me, I expected so much from the 992 Turbo S in GT7 but it lacks a lot of features to improve the immersion :

  • No active aero at all without adding thé Aero type B in GT auto
  • the sound 😢 is not even close to the Real 992 Turbo S ...

Wow, they actually added a cockpit to a VGT car. Never expected that!
Yeah but let me get this straight.
They added the interior for the regular AMG VGT … but not for the Racing Version.
These freaking guys at PD …
🤣
Whatever, still looking forward to driving these cars. Damn W196 wiped me out, though. Down to 830K credits after this. All good, I wasn’t gonna wait months for it to come back around LOL

Can someone let PD know that Performance Point issues regarding many engine swapped vehicles and fully tuned road cars with Racing Soft tires, like the Jaguar F Type, still needs to be addressed?
Because the PP rating is ! they can’t be used unless you use lower grade racing tires.
I was hoping that issue would be fixed, unfortunately it wasn’t.

So glad the Escort is in the UCD and for a lower price than the recent record selling price.

Are Suzuka banners upgraded?
What do the new American Racing wheels look like?

I don't think it should be like that... but the Escort RS with standard drivetrain behaves like it was FWD. Even trying to loose grip on grass looks like it is 90-95% power to the front.

I think I spent upwards of 30M with this update...so many chiron engines... .
Also my controller doesnt get sound and vibration in the menus. Does that happen to anyone else? ( Forget this, I restarted the game and it was normal again)

OK I know it's a '54 but still, the car is a classic. I'm really excited to try it out.
me too. but if its around 20 million, I'm hoping there's a GT7 loan scheme in the update

edit - if there's any guys out there doing retro gt7 videos this MS Clipchamp is free & has some great vintage looking features such as black & white / grainy / softened / TV Interference etc

Can someone post a screenshot of the graphics options please. Want to understand how to get best resolution with Ray tracing in race. Currently I'm away from ps5 pro.

Building a grid of 10 W196 and 10 RA272.

I should be able to grind a few more W196 before it leaves.:)
I wish I had bought a extra of the RA272 and MP4/4 when they were up (I had the cash). it would mean a 10 car F1 grid in custom races now. 3x W196 (Fangio, Moss and Kling), 2x RA272 (Ginther and Bucknum), 2x Lotus 97T or whatever GT7 calls it (De Angelis and Senna), 2x MP4/4 (Senna and Prost) and a AMG safety car (Maylander)

The Ford Unsuitable Language Cosworth.

And for those who want to see the Merc ('s interior)

Tbh, while the interior looks so nice that I could foam in my mouth, the speedometer looks so stretched, it's like a bad 2010's throwback (even when the car was released in 2013, guess the meter is the indicator that it came in 2013).

Wheel weight on open wheel cars been fixed? The super formula for example is way too light to a point where you can't feel a thing...
Even if it’s not been fixed, you can make it at least drivable again, at least on the Fanatec DD+. Crank the in-game torque to 10 (which you probably have) but also turn up the FOR setting on the Fanatec wheel-tuning menu to 120. Definitely still light but it’s reasonable once I got used to it. Sorry if you’ve done this already but I didn’t realize the FOR setting went past 100 in the wheel-tuning menu till I happened to catch someone else say this.
