I wouldn’t mind this. They need to add dynamic rain to all road tracks, along with 24h time

Thanks. I thought that might be the case but didn't have the chance to pour through 17 pages of this thread to find the answer! Weird that they're leaving it this late to announce the date/time of the update considering how far in advance they dropped the teaser...

Usual MO is to put up an update maintenance notice somewhere between 18 and three hours before the update. We may get a video about the update before that even happens, although it's more common for the video to land after the update.

I'm expecting it to be Wednesday (simply because that's when they're going to distribute the Bonus Campaign prizes), but Thursday wouldn't be a surprise either.

This is normal, unfortunately - Kaz drops it between Friday and Sunday and then its just a waiting game til the random maintenance or update announcement.

I thought - mistakenly - they had been showing the teaser image with an accompanying update date announcement. I was anticipating Thursday, as most of the GT updates tend to happen on a Tuesday or Thursday *my recollection from GT Sport ...

I’d like a new track with nothing but chicanes, and the glitch is that you can cut through them all and somehow mysteriously complete a lap with nothing but a straight line!

I'm very devilish and I've tried that, I still don't win though. Although, technically, my car is just bright because I like it.

Road cars can be quite good racecars if you put some time into them.

Technically we have unlimited races in the custom race feature. What needs to happen is for PD to fix the AI tire issue there and increase the payouts.

My guess is that PD is holding on to the unreleased cars to release a bunch during the Christmas period, didn’t they do something like that early in GTSport’s life cycle?

This is where I spend most of my time playing GT7 now. Also would like the AI to not slow down if they're too far ahead. (Simulating multi-class races is cumbersome unless you're in the faster class because of this)

For the best racing against the AI, make sure Boost is on 'Weak'. Also, give them a little more power than you, and put them on a better tire if possible. Right now I am doing a Miata series where they have ~10hp more than me. They are also on RH tires and I am on SM/SS depending on the circuit. When I do this and start 20th, after 10 laps I can only pass 8-10 cars. It's tough. Unfortunately on some of the circuits they are programmed to take certain corners too slow so that kind of ruins the fun. (Eau Rouge at Spa for example)

AI for custom races is a simple fix. PD has already proved with the Maggiore Gr.3 mission race that the AI can actually be extremely competitive.

And what do you know? The payouts for custom races are also a simple fix... Just... increase them in the code. It's that *g easy.
I won't even ask for payouts to be the same as the "average" of the main events in the World Circuits, but at least within 70% of them.
They don't do this because of their greed.

24 hour races paying 300k. And with AI going 80% throttle on the straights. This is outright insulting.

Noticed a lot of people recommending putting Boost on Weak. Is there something buggy with the Strong setting that I'm not aware of?
