Well established? Does it really seem well established to you that you have to depend on being connected to the Internet, even for solo modes, and that if the game servers go down, that day you can't even run a few races or do practically ANYTHING? what happened that day that they fell for more than 30 hours?
Did you read the word after "well established"? It's
policy. Polyphony has a well established
policy.
A, that you have neurons left, because by defending the indefensible you show that you DO NOT HAVE, you even accept it, my mother
I can't tell if you're doing an impression of someone with no brain cells or if you're so apoplectic with rage that you can't even type a coherent sentence. Your mother indeed.
And of course I care, that's why I criticize it, not like you who are nothing more than a bunch of FANBOYS, since you don't care if you have a paperweight, at least I haven't spent the money on that game, apart from the fact that I know that He said it a long time ago, that's why I complain as I was saying
And if you make fun of people who say nonsense, why don't you make fun of yourself / other people who defend these policies?
Well roffle my copter. This is so spectacularly wrong I hardly know where to start.
You know, some of us were calling out the always online systems before it was cool.
Polyphony took no notice then and went ahead and released the game anyway, unlike the way some other developers have chosen to react to being called out for online and monetisation schemes. You're about 6 months behind the time when they might have actually made a change, and so it's pretty clear at this point that you're shouting into the void. The game is this way because Polyphony wants it to be, and they know damn well that everyone hates it and it hasn't slowed them down a bit.
As far as defending these policies, I'm not. I'm pointing out that you're wasting your time if you think that Polyphony is going to change such a fundamental part of the game. I think the whole always online thing is ********. But I think you'd have an easier time convincing a pig to not roll in mud than convincing Polyphony to let go of always online, and that's before we get into the fact that it would almost certainly be a huge amount of work for them to remove it. It's just not happening.
And so given that this is likely to remain a fundamental part of the game and that the game will probably become a coaster at end of life, just like GT Sport probably will as well, you need to make a decision about whether this is a product that you're willing to spend money on. I made my decision, but you're free to make your own.
