Also it has POP DOWN HEADLIGHTS. Come on, people!

If I were to say (as one of the tiny handful of people who have driven it!) that the Bulgari is like a bike-engined Lancia Stratos speedster with an IS200-but-colourful instrument cluster, I wonder if it might jump up the anticipation scale :D

I am excited for Bulgari since it is speedster and in VR it will be incredible :D

Useless cars, useless update. They should focus on giving the people what they want.
If we could just accept the fact that PD does not really care what we want and seems only concerned with what they want to give us, it would eliminate most of the bickering.

No update is going to please everyone but everyone should be pleased that there are any updates at all.

Besides F1 and maybe WRC, none of the modern race cars people are calling for have exclusive licenses. They are all licensed from the individual brand. In GTS PD had a very representative selection of modern race cars but for GT7 they weren't really updated. By contrast the road car selection has seen significant expansion with many new and classic additions.

I'm sure for GT8 PD are planning a refresh of their racing classes. I just don't think we'll see much in GT7 besides an updated Toyota Hypercar and the occasional GT3 Evo model. I guess we could also see the Porsche and Ferrari Hypercars as PD seem to have a good relationship with each brand. Given the latest Super Formula was added last year we may get a surprise with newer GT500's. But again, I think they'd save them for GT8.

I agree...but I would pay for real good dlc content...I did it before
my opinnion is..if they wouldn't give any content at all .. people would be more happy to play the game ..because they would know what will be in it and that's all...
expectations kill people

The Jimny should be fun with the Suzuki vgt v8 or escudo swap if it’s a Jimmy, I guess it could also be a Pajero mini sport as seen in GT2

Honestly quite looking forward to the Jimny. It helps fill out the rather lackluster Kei selection and gives Suzuki more cars. I have always felt that Suzuki was not well represented. ...Now if only we could get a 2nd-gen Copen and/or some more TVRs. Two other brands that need some love too.

If the Jimny has the spare wheel, I hope the cover can be painted on. I've always chuckled at those particular Rhino covers they used to sport in the late 80s/early 90s...
Do a decal search for Suzuki… people have been busy over the weekend

This Suzuki fanboy is stoked for the Jimny. I think I'd rather have the global- than the kei-spec for the added width and power, but I'm happy with whichever one we get. That said, I really do miss how many kei cars used to be included in this series.

It's already been said, but 3 cars is pretty meager after this much time between updates. I wish it gave me hope that there's so much more or some big thing we don't know about yet, but alas...

I'm genuinely looking forward to this update.

1) I have a PSVR2 and that makes all the difference with any car.
2) I hope I can paint the Bvlgari red so I can blast "Red Barchetta" on the home speakers while driving this thing on Grand Valley Highway or any St. Croix (Sainty Croiks?) track. #Rush
3) I won't be shocked to see a track show up for the Genesis VGT round this weekend. Not expecting it, but I won't be shocked.

People here are very quick to denounce updates - especially when a VGT is involved - and I think that's a shame. For my view, they just updated to Spec II about 3 months ago, so a break before adding any more cars makes sense.

My hope is PD only pays casual attention to these boards because it would be very easy to take the approach that nothing they do is good enough. Every update is met with flames. With that kind of feedback they could choose an understandable path:

They could decide to do nothing.

Hopefully that's not the case, and this game will get updates for a long time to come.

Granted, that's just my opinion.

If it is the Kei version, at least the widebody could offer the Sierra arches, so long as they make the Swift Sport engine a new swap.

I think one way for updates to be less disappointing or less controversial, at least for most players, would be for PD to adopt a holistic and stable policy, every two month.

  • One road car (Brand Central and Used Cars)
  • One sports car (Brand Central and Used Cars)
  • One legendary car (Legend Cars)
  • One race car (Sport Mode).

As for the circuits, a circuit could be added every four months, alternating between an original one and a real one.

Of course, I'm speaking from an idealistic perspective. Perhaps, with some forethought, this would not be difficult to accomplish.

I think this would please greeks and trojans, street car lovers and race car lovers, single player lovers and sport mode lovers.

Biggest help will be weight reduction. If it's only dropping 50kg, that's not going to help. Also, though the AT will help with the turbo, I wouldn't mind getting the 5-speed. Here are the specs of both transmissions.

I'd be happy if we got endurance races and a bunch of new Missions.

A new track would be a big bonus but I expect they'll save that for a more substantial update.

As disappointed as I am with the car selection the two VGT's look pretty interesting spec wise. Hopefully they drive well and sound good.

"Wait, you aren't supposed to get excited about a little Japanese box! You're supposed to be excited about the cars designed SPECIFICALLY for this game!"

As was proven by the Toyota HiMedic, the odd stuff is wildly popular based on the liveries made. I expect a similar deal here but I don't think PD will do anything reactionary. They seem to have their own convoluted plan which we'll never understand.

What about fixing sport modo error ce-210730????????
Firstly, we don't know anything about this update aside from the cars until probably Wednesday - and even then the patch notes won't be out until Thursday morning.

Secondly, that's a common networking error. Are you trying to connect through a mobile data hub (not recommended at all) or a VPN (don't)? Have you tried doing all of this?
