It feel like most tracks in Japan are flat and dont have elevation changes?

Japan is generally a hilly country.

I understand GT LM '95 have been added in Gr. 3. Because I believe that one day PD will add the latest version of the F1, F1 GTR Longtail '97 in Gr. 2.

Car: 1997 McLaren-BMW F1 GTR
Chassis: 26R
Engine: 6.0 L (5990cc) NA V12 (BMW S70/3)
Power: 600 bhp
Torque: 651 nm
Transmission: 6 speed sequential
Weight: 915 kg (2017 lbs)

I have hope this car shows up. After all, it has been in the previous games.

I have hope for this car too! I don't care what everyone who says it should be in GT3 now because that's the performance would be that of a GT3 car. Its wrong. GT Sport just needs to look at adding other classes. We all know that the old 2008 grp 2 cars are too slow, but I'm sure everyone would be happier if they were balanced with the new spec cars with other JGTC cars added. I know the fans of the old games would love it.

Also I cant remember the Hong Kong track, I'd love to see it return!

There's a 10 seconds difference at Le Mans between the "normal" F1 GTR we got and the F1 GTR Longtail, they're not the same car. I agree that the game needs more classes but PD didn't do it for Group C cars back when they were added and probably they won't do it for GT1 and old LMPs.

Can I just say something? I absolutely freaking love this new update. I am completely new to Autopolis, and it is lovely. It has a very nice flow, and lots of elevation changes, which makes it really challenging but only at first. I've yet to do the Gr.3 or Gr.2 career races, but those will be tons o' fun.

The sounds... of the Toyota GR Supra RZ, under load, off throttle, and just the crackly and poppy exhaust when you race the engine... oh my lord, new pants please!

The sound of the SLR McLaren is... fantastic and bassy, and that supercharger whine is very, very, very... hellacious. It's so good.

The sound of the Pagani Huayra is really something else. It is so amazing. I love it. This is the first car I bought when the update came out and damn it is worth it.

The Eunos is really fun! I love this little dude, especially around the 'Ring!

Lovely update! I look forward to March 29!

Had my first go at Autopolis last night. I ended up just doing the new Beginner and Amateur GT League events they added, just to stay at 100% completion.

I like the track, very technical, you really have to manage throttle going through the later section of the track through all the high speed corners.

I tried the new Supra in the Supra event, sorry, I'm not a fan. You have to be so careful on the throttle it's crazy. I had to turn TCS on, even at TCS 3 I'd still lose the back end. I can see drifters having an amazing time with it though. I think the throttle on my wheel set up is still a bit too loose to properly handle that car.

With the complaints about the NA Roadster having nonsensical wheel options, I think it's time for someone who's going to the Paris event to tell PD that they should remove the wheel restrictions thingy, so that NA Roadster can have ALL THE WHEELS! Plus, that gives the Mustang Gr.3 an option to put Enkei RA036s (the only Enkei centerlock wheel that can be fitted normally are the RA033s) as another example.

I'd expect nothing less, I've not posted a thing on here in over a year but damn this wound me up haha :)

PD's post launch support is amazing. I had to buy another copy of the game, digitally this time, because of my eject issues on the PS4, but I don't feel bad about it. They deserve the extra money.

I did not expect them to be putting this kind of content 1.5 years after release in such a constant fashion. I wonder how is the game selling nowadays.

Yeah, all of the Japanese tracks in general, outside of Okayama and Motegi are super undulating.

I once saw Jenson Button say that a good driver should be able to learn a new circuit in roughly 10 laps. Count me off that list, it’s taking me way more than 10 laps to learn Autopolis  I still find myself getting lost in the final sector.

As far as Autopolis or any other Japanese circuits being flat...that’s one of the more absurd things I’ve ever seen  Suzuka, Fuji, Autopolis, Okayam, SUGO, and Motegi all have significant elevation change. Tsukuba is flat, the rest are not

Did you try the Willow Springs event? If not good luck! Pure drifting around the two big corners.

I have now driven nearly 300 km in the new Supra and I'm not really impressed. It's agile but also twitchy in a way that isn't particularly desirable. Some cars can be twitchy in a fun way, but not this one. I get the impression that acceleration and grand tourer appeal was a priority over sports car purity. So in this sense it's pretty similar to older generations of the Supra, but this one looked like it would be the sportiest yet. In some ways it is, but it doesn't excel when pushed hard. I suppose this leaves room for a GRMN version.

Yup, several tries @ Willow Springs and I gave up on the new Supra and went to the RZ '97 to finish the event. Willow was the first race of the event to.

I thought about it but anyone wearing a helmet with the roof down, not on a track is being a bit of a pussy lets be honest :D . I actually wanted to park it on the verge but theres an invis limit. I used a wheel that looks a little like the Japanese CarMakeC*rns tuners wheel instead but damn did it annoy me when they locked out the bbs :(

I think Your photos of the NA are a perfect presentation of it in it’s natural habitat. It’s static, so it works well without a driver, especially since there is no alternative to full race wear. But weather those sorts of thread works or not varies with the context of the story the photograph is meant to tell...

I like the location and the arrangement is all too familiar to me from a professional point of view.
Through the years as a motor journalist I’ve have annoyed a few of my fellow motorists when arranging a car just like that, in order to snap a few ;)

Kinda disappointed that we didn't get the J-Limited. That was the better Eunos Roadster and nobody can tell me otherwise.

First post on GT Planet, and I just wanted to say that this update may very well be one of my favorites yet, even though I was really only excited about the Supra lol. Autopolis was just a nice bonus.

I was so excited to see how the A90 drove, and I was honestly a little underwhelmed initially. It definitely doesn’t feel at home on the track, and I was kinda caught off guard by how twitchy it was. I put about 80 or so miles on it just trying out new settings, (it really could benefit from more downforce, imo), and I finally got it to a point where I’m super happy with it. Definitely one of the more difficult cars I’ve tried to tune, but it was super rewarding!

The engine is just amazing, and honestly I don’t think I’d add any horsepower at all. 394 is MORE than enough, and really I’d love to see how this chassis handles with about 75 or so less.

Also this car looks remarkably good in yellow, and I can count the number of cars that I’ve liked in yellow on one hand lol.

But overall I think I found my new go-to in the A90! I’ll see if I can get some pics later.
