Every racing title that's had some form of DLC and/or release day car packs that has been released has fallen foul of it.

Forza, AC and PCars getting the brunt.

In either case it should be something that certain members should be up in arms about, given that they have been vocal about how wrong such things are in regard to other titles.

However, as with the size of the car count at launch (from 80 to 150 depending on how you count it) I suspect they will be fine as its GT, despite some of them taking shots at FM5's car count at launch (and how it would never happen for GT as PD had future proofed the cars in GT6).

As I have said I don't have issue with the actual practice, its peoples money to spend if they wish, I have issue with the double standards.
I see what you mean and i agree
But i don't understand why you say it to me, i only state that for me it is an early access on the garage, nothing more, i didnt have a word on how this practice is genuis or crap or else

The cars aren't locked for other users though? you only gain access to them from day one.
At the cost of £10 for the Digital Deluxe Edition.

Those that normally complain about this kind of thing are strangely quiet.

I was replying to the questions you raised about it and also speaking to anyone else who reads the post.

I'm not saying you see this in any specific way.

Regardless people's opinion or telling someone else, choose version which one do you like. You know the options and you know what you will got.

I am getting Collector Edition because I want that Nissan 2020 diecast. It also give me a head start for a lot of cars in garage, since a working person dont really have much time grinding credits and else (I am a person who actually buy in-game cash in GT6). I dont care people complaining about DLC practices or else, PD and Sony is a company that obviously looking for a profit, not a charity.

Hi everyone, I'm new here! (Well, I was a silent reader of GTPlanet.) I can't wait for GT Sport! :D The game looks amazing, and the sounds are getting better and better! I didn't get chance to play the beta, sadly. :( I really hope the physics will be at least as good as Pcars 1's in the full game.
Sorry for my bad english. :ouch: I'm Hungarian.
I'm really happy to be a part of this community! :gtpflag::cheers:

Hello mate.IMO the physics is not one of the strong point of GTS (at least in beta). They did improve them but are not in the same level with their competition (again I am pointing out that this is my opinion).

Oh, okay, I respect your opinion. GT isn't the best in terms of physics.

GTS won't have physics as good as Pcars. I just don't think that's what PD Is aiming for. They're aiming for realistic enough, but not hardcore sim levels of realism.

@lancia delta hf I'm a huge GT fan and I'm not alone to be disappointed by what is GTSport (so far). IMO even Sony doesn't believe in the success of GTSport, the non presence of the game at the E3 press conference is an obvious example.
I've said it before, but if Pcars2 is accessible to the casuals/ mainstream with a pad, I can't see any reason to buy GTS instead of PC2 other than an attachment to the GT logo. If it didn't have to GT logo I think people would be bewildered by GTS at this stage of the PS4 life cycle.

:confused::confused::confused:

Both games have everything unlocked from the get go, how can they even have "head start" incentives for certain GTPlanet users to condemn, unlike they are doing with GTS?
They had pre order DLC cars at an extra cost which was meat with heavy criticism. Which is nowhere near as bad as charging extra for a head start. One has actual man/woman hours put into it. Free money as I said earlier.

Completely subjective.

I buy the Standard edition on day one and run home to start playing the game.
A week later my mate gets the chance and also buys the Standard edition.
Guess what?
I have more cars in my garage than he does.
It's a matter of time.
Not everyone starts playing the game day one, so differences in garage cars will always happen.

I could be wrong, but doesn't PC2 have a day one DLC Japanese pack?
What I am certain of though is that they have a day one Motorsports pack.
That pack is exclusive to Season Pass holders, or people who bought the Collectors or Ultra editions.
That will cost me, above the price of the game, $40, $130, and, $600 respectively.
So for a game whose design is to have all cars available on day one, unless I spend a minimum of $40 extra, people have cars that I don't.
That is a matter of money, and time won't solve the difference.

I recognise it is a Season Pass, and other things come down the line.
And I recognise the man hours put into creating the additional cars.
But please don't tell me that they made 4 or 8 cars between the time they sent the game to go gold, and release.

And yet you suggest this is "nowhere near as bad" as the GT scenario.
Well I beg to differ.

@Tom makes the official trailer again:cheers:. Anyone else want to smack the guy that said, "I'm an aggressive driver, I'll hit anyone":mad:

For a while, I thought PD had opted for a more consistent approach than FM6, where lapped traffic only ghosts if they're travelling under a certain speed. But as I came up on a car, it solidified, and tried to take me out, I realized the error of my ways.

No need, the system should do it enough for us. :D

It can't be overstated how much @Tom's live commentary improves a race. I really hope clearer footage of some of the races surfaces. @Jordan and I had an epic race around Brands where we managed to pass on both sides of a competitor in T1.

I was just gonna mention @Tom being in the Trailer as well. That's it, @Tom should be in the main cover of the game, just replace the virtual driver with him.

Or for offline races, they should record commentary lines similar to that DJ from Ridge Racer.

------------
I was surprised that PD decided to add a clip where someone says to go and do some dirty race.

Thanks so much for the kind comments. I have to be honest, I didn't even realise until somebody pointed it out whilst I was in Tokyo!

I have broken my wheel just before appearing fuel consumptiom races but when i check some GTS video like the Z28 ones, it seems that early shifting save fuel. Is it correct ?? From what i remember of mechanic , at the time of carburators or injection systems a few decades ago, only gas pedal and the good use of torque can result in a lower waste of fuel . Or did the new electronics components influence this result ??

Thanks @Z28_ for this video

I'll tell you this. I ran a race before this not shifting early with my setting all the way towards lean and I ran out of gas...

GTS has been added as a pre-order to the European PSS and I won't get it. It's simply more than I'd ever pay for a video game. It isn't worth it.
