Been awhile since I played but I was just checking out the in-game Discovery stuff looking for some liveries. So it was kinda broken before and now they've changed it so it shows content submitted within a two day period? Even if nothing was submitted in those days. Geez this is dumb. Not only is it silly to have to find stuff like this, but people keep uploading duplicate liveries because you have no idea if it already exists or not.

Tried to find the Turner liveries (using the tag) I made and uploaded months ago, and so many people have uploaded essentially the same thing (but worse IMO) just within the last month. I gave up after cycling back maybe two or three weeks.

Ugh so frustrating how dumb this all is.

Yes, I'm bloody late in the world of GTS (and PS4 in general).
But why the hell are we still not able to buy cars in the menu which shows applicable cars at the "race info screen"...?
And why do I have to back up all the way to the main menu and after that navigate through the "brands" menu???

Sheesh. Design flaws gallore (as per usuall)

Livery suggestion. Let´s say you create livery, then you have option to keep it fully locked, and no changes can be made on it (just as it is for now) . Then the other option is to keep it open that way that rims can be changed.

I don't know how many times I've seen cool livery, but really don't like the rims tho :).

He's waiting for his chance to shine, you know you want to PD.

Pretty sure they've done this in other events they've been the title sponsor too, like N24, D1GP, and the last four years being a Platinum sponsor for PPIHC. Yet only certain cars have seen the light of GT games, and they all happen to be cars Kaz himself drove hmmmm.

Once again GTP users see a banner, see a respectful congrats and run with it.

I have a question about Spectator mode. Is it possible to be a spectator (and broadcast it using the TV cams) without tying up a slot within that lobby? I've only seen that one has to enter the lobby to be spectator. I just want make sure I wasn't missing something.

Thanks for any advice and sorry if this is off topic.

Or if they use a racing number plate you should be able to change the number

I don't believe so.
A person in the lobby occupies 1 of the 16 places, whether they are on track or spectating.
I know of no other function to spectate live racing.

Thanks @Tassie_tiger . That's what I suspected. Add this to the list of update items. I doubt PD would ever do it but it would be great to be able to be a spectator without occupying a grid position. Broadcasting league races would be great fun and a perfect promotional tool for the title and leagues. iRacing has that capability and it is awesome.

I suppose you still can but it just sucks to lose that 1 or 2 grid spots.

Yeah unfortunately it's not like Project Cars 2 where you can spectate and not take away someone's spot.

Did one of the updates change which thumbsticks to walk around and camera control in photomode? It feels incredbly weird to walk with the right thumbstick and control the camera with the left. I swear it was the other way around before like a normal First Person Shooter control scheme.

Surely this new Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign is a strong contender for GT inclusion. What do you think of it? I like it overall. The rear is very nice, and is what I expect the next generation to be like, while the front is not as appealing.

I like it!! It's definitely gonna be fast too! They say around 720hp but i want to know more about weigh, aero and other improvements!

Funny that it looks more like a descendant of the hakosuka, than the actual factory Nissan R35.

The car were designed to celebrate 50th anniversary of the GT-R so it does make sense if it has some of design cues from older generation GT-R. And with this concept I think Nissan were already spot on finding likeable design for R36 (might be the prettiest GT-R too as some suggests). I would agree if they should stay with this until the production phase of R36 begin.

The Gran Turismo name still means something for alot of people....or maybe GT is the closest the gaming community got with a sports game.

Yeah, that too would be nice to have. So if any change is done on someone's livery, a little box would be shown right beside of the creators name of the livery, with lets say the letter "M", which could stand for "modified", so other players could see if the specific livery had been modified in some way.

This is just an idea, which came to my head after PD had their original liveries open up for changes that could be made on them, like for example change of the rims.

Well it's going to be revealed at Goodwood later this month; would not be surprised if it popped up in an update at the same time.
