As it stands now we get a Gr.1 race every what, 2 months? Imagine halving that number. You're talking about 2-3 Gr.C races a year.

Obviously going back to Daily races would solve this. But we can't bet on that.

Logistically it would make more sense for them to adjust the BoP until Gr.C is competitive.
I have a problem with this arguement. It doesn't take online lobby racing and arcade custom race into account. Sure, sport mode is limited, but the other modes aren't.

Stupid question: - My PS4 just died. I didn't have a backup with my game progress somewhere else. However, the game does save things online, right?

So, if I get the game in a different PS4, how much of my progress is saved?

*sorry if the question is too simple or too stupid. Just didn't feel like starting a new thread on it.

If the save data is in the cloud all your progress will be saved.

I must have missed the memo, but tire wear and fuel deplation can only be set to 3x and 2x in Custom Race? I was gonna run a practice race with the AI for a upcoming league endurance race where we use 3x tire and 3x fuel, but now I simply can't replicate our league settings in custom race :(

When was this changed?

Does anyone have a recommended track setup for the Ford GT? Whenever I use it, it feels like a boat and constantly understeers take about a year to slow down.

A long, long time ago.....
Mainly to remove fuel depletion exploits for easy credit farming from custom races at N24.

To stop people doing this, It was all fixed and changed in the Jan/Feb/March updates.

Ah I see. That kinda sucks, would like more options for custom races :)

It can still be done if you just experiment:

I wanted to do a David And Goliath type race with the S-FR Racing Concept vs. N1000 opponents, where I could beat them in terms of fuel/tire consumption and cornering speed, but they'd get me on the high-speed sections. I discovered that on Broad Bean Raceway, the AI opponents cannot refuel at the pits. It was time for them to pit due to low fuel, so they go pit, but they only stop for 1% of fuel, then exit the pits, get toasted of fuel again and crawl back into the pits, and the cycle repeats.

It was like watching a flock of vultures circle a dead animal or something. It went on for the whole race and gave me an unexpected easy victory.

So I got curious:

I don't know how they plan on fixing this without altering the multiplier, though. Truth be told, though, being consistent against out-classing fast opponents on a circuit like this in a much slower, outclassed car is dangerous, as the AI opponents will have absolutely no remorse for you if you're in their driving line. I took a few hits to the butt of my car but I did make it in the end.

That is a bug in the game that has come with the latest update, there are posts in the bug thread about the AI in League endurance events not taking on fuel when pitting and then limping around the track for the rest of the race.
I fully expect it to be patched with the next main update, if they don't send out an emergency fix update very soon.

Were they pretty good payouts?
209k Cr. for a 1st place win for a N100 vs Gr.1 grid. It isn't that easy, though, so I don't recommend it.

I see. Hopefully they do get this addressed. However I didn't notice the AI having any issues during the Endurance Events in GT League, specifically the Porsche Cup at Suzuka and Dragon Trail. Maybe it's a handful of scenarios?

Have any of you guys ever raced a normal car against karts? I had a lobby some time ago & i changed from Gr.4 to karts & a guy was still in the pits with his Gr.4 GTR! I started the race so i can save the replay & i saved some pics! It was the funniest glitch that ever happened! I'll post them tomorrow!

Now that the kart is purchasable, I wonder if the GT-R Pace Car will show up in Brand Central.

Maybe even the dirty R18.

The point of the pace car and the dirty R18 was to be exclusive. The racing kart was made purchaseable because it isnt supposed to be exclusive.

It's not exclusive. Players do the challenge to receive as a gift.

We get to buy pace cars as Mileage. That GT-R should be the same. As for the R18. That's not exclusive. If you race your car, in a Lobby or FIA race?, it gets dirty. I didn't ask for it to be cleaned. So, make it purchasable or don't clean the cars after each race or both.

I get with the R18, but the GT-R is supposed to be a unicorn car that you can only obtain by golding everything on campaign. Granted it's not exactly the best car to gift with that achievement nor is it useful, but there's still some value to it :)
But maybe instead of gifting, we get a notification that the GT-R Pace Car is now for sale on Brand Central or something. First purchase is free, but you can purchase it again so that you can have multiple liveries in that car as well as being able to put many of them in one scapes shot

That's what I'm saying. I didn't know the jmkart was for sale as I'm not in GT dealership that much.

I don't think you understand. Theyre supposed to be rare. Like not easy to obtain. Making them purchasable would defeat that purpose.

I do understand. However, PD changed to allowing a vehicle that was non purchaseable, to adding it in Brand Central. Why wasn't it available at the start?
If they did it to not make it exclusive, why wait one year to do it? It's a rare car as well.

I initially bought ps4 to play red dead redemption 2 but its still 3 weeks away and my local market has gt sport on 15€ sale. Should I go for it or wait for gt7?
I used to play a lot gt5 but haven't played racing games since.

It isnt a rare car. You obtain it by watching two short videos which you have to watch before entering the sport section.

They made it purchasable because they realised people who previously got rid of the car should be able to re-obtain it.

Absolutely not under any circumstances. It is known what has to be done to get it. That is the only way it should be attainable.

That doesn't make sense. I think I've seen one Sport Mode race for it, in 7 months. If I delete my GT-R Pace Car, then what?
It doesn't have to be used in a Sport Mode race. Nor does the dirty R18.
You're not understanding. One has to get the R18 by sheer luck.
All the Missions, Tests, Circuit Experiences, are able to be completed by everyone, to get the pace car. That's not a rare car according to your view.
Again, in circles, we get to choose two pace cars that don't feature in any races other than Custom Race and online Lobby. Why not offer the GT-R? We got the R34 pace cars in the Used car DEALERSHIP, for GT6.

Same for Gr.3 road cars. Depending on color, those are rare as well(if one doesn't follow Famine's cars and colors breakdown). Yet, we can purchase them.

If you like online racing go for it.

I've played GT since the first title. Played a lot of online in GT5 and 6, and this is the best online experience. Single player's not the greatest but online against real people is where it's at for me since GT5 anyway.

It's not gonna change how you should attain it though
It's just gonna give you the option to get it once more if you do meet the requirements to obtain it in the first place. It could also help with people who had their save files corrupted; even the tickets that PD sends out wouldn't give you another GT-R
