...Trains use diesel or coal. So yeah, no petrol/gasoline in the tank to begin with. :P

What about electric

Personally think some people are looking too much into the 4.5 or VR situations.
If anything looking back at GT5 / GT6 Polophony digital had the game designed to accommodate:

720p
1080p
3DTV
Multiscreen

I would think they can adapt the game potentially for 4K or HDR if that is to be the case with the 4.5 system. No reason why car models in garage or photo based mode could not be 4K and general gameplay 1080p

As for the VR if it requires its own graphical differences (reduction in detailing) then I expect it to be implemented. Yet at the same time the game will be designed for standard PS4 userbase and run at 60 FPS like they always try to achieve.

The hype train has no petrol.

I'm putting all my money on E3.

Well we really should be hearing news before E3 considering the beta date and GT Academy but sure, if we get to E3 without anything then they simply must show up at E3. If we got post-E3 and still nothing......

Dude, if there won't be anything of GTSport after E3 ends, then there's some serious issues. Then again, it's not like we haven't had issues getting any news since the announcement at PGW.

Then I'm ready to call it dead, then tell everyone to pack up and leave.

Hello there, I'm new here. Played GT ever since GT5 prologue. Got really into it then, bought the full game and later 6. Like the rest of you, I'm really impatient here. :D

Hopefully PD shows us something soon, I need a racing game on the PS4. If nothing is released soon I probably will have to get a Xbox for Forza. But, I don't know if it is gun with a controller. :/

So you're saying they were impacted hard by having to reach something they should have been already been reaching in the first place? Hardly a good omen.

Wait! You guys really expected for polyphony digital a 60fps locked game?

I thought you knew them since gt1 lol I bet they were going for 30ish with all eye candies and now they are panicking :D

FM6 is great with a control

Yes I do know them since GT1. I know they somehow managed to get a 60fps mode on PS1 hardware, I know they aimed for and reached locked 60fps for all of their PS2 games and they aimed for and sometimes reached it on PS3. They even aimed for and reached locked 60fps in GT PSP.

I also know they've spoken in the past that locked 60fps is their target.

"Our engineers complain every day: 'Isn't it enough that it's in 1080p? Does it have to be 60fps too?'” Yamauchi said in a new story over on CVG. “But I think 60fps is very important, so we're working towards perfecting that. There might be times when you have a certain combination of conditions that come together - especially with the weather effects - [when] the game might briefly drop from 60fps, and for that I beg your forgiveness!”

So no, I don't for one second believe your theory that Sony saying "We need locked 60fps" came as a shock to PD. They've been aiming for locked 60fps since they started, and it was only the last generation they let it slip. With the "power of the PS4" I fully expect they were already aiming for and reaching locked 60fps.

If they were only floating around 30fps as you claim then they are a) in serious trouble and b) even worst at resource management than they were with the "difficult to develop for" PS3 and for all the negatives of PD, I don't believe that is the case.
