I didn't say "released". I said started (GTS). GTS worked in it's first time at London in public. Driveclub barely survived the first miles. The game and it's whole interface was server bound and buggy (still is server bound). When it launched, at it's first moment in public, it failed hard. It was practically unplayable, because of continuous server problems. Very bad first impressions leading to lousy review scores.

That is not the same thing in the slightest. Come on. If Driveclub launched with only 16 copies it would have been fine.

Driveclub's issues didn't present in network testing, the private beta or pre-release copies handed to the press. Evolution was blindsided because up until release, there was zero indication anything would go wrong, and then the launch day load shut everything down.

I wouldn't say awful, at 1080p it's pretty sharp and not too much visible compression. The main downside is that it's 30fps. I don't think PD ever put out 60fps trailers though, do they?

They did with GT6. It looked pretty weird, too... Soft. It was absolutely weird for me because it had no direct gameplay, and... I don't know, it was weird. But yeah, they did release a 60fps trailer, but I don't know if they did the same for other trailers.

Where's the uncompressed trailer tho? The youtube quality is awful.
I've been asking about Gamersyde videos for days now, I don't think we'll get anything before E3 at this point.

Anyway, better quality won't get rid of the awful tearing, low framerate and missing trackside elements of that trailer.

I still have really no idea what happened with that video. Looks like Kaz himself put it together the day before the conference, using PS4 ShareFactory.
And using a very old build of the game.

 Ok. Maybe it should have.

Wow.

Maybe it was slightly bad comparison, the reveal vs. the launch, from my side. Anyway, let's hope PD manages their servers well, at the launch.

and I just did some reading on the previous pages. Apparently the mods are hiding more things that are supposibly amazing. Well then, good; it'll give me something to look forward to while I continue to pack up crap in my house.

Funny timing, all of this stuff being shown just happens when I'm packing.

Curious decision on the part of PD considering that they went from the $100 DFGT to the $500-600 T500 to presumably a $700+ worm drive wheel. I understand wanting to associate this game in particular with good equipment, considering the tie-in with the FIA and all, but I'd like to see a lower end wheel with the GT badge on it as well. Along the lines of the T150.
Well the T150 and T300 both have rims with PlayStation or Ferrari logos, so it's easy enough to expect T150 and T300 editions to be released around GTS launch with GT-branded rims...

The T300, T500 and this new GTS wheel look to share the same rim mechanism, so a single GT-branded rim could feasibly be compatible with all 3.

To me this progression makes sense:
- T150 (MSRP €199, street price €160)
- T300 (MSRP €400, street price €300)
- T300 set: base, alcantara rim, T3PA pedals (MSRP €470, street price €400)
- GTS base, GTS rim, T3PA-pro pedals (next rung up pricing, probably <€1000)

I'm waiting for Gamersyde too. But they usually take some time because they have the original source material, not some crappy YT video. We'll have to wait.

I always find this sort of thing curious. Why hold back the "amazing", especially after getting an initial mixed response to the game!?

You're using the word 'amazing' as if directly quoted from someone. Who specifically used the word "amazing?"

And we're not holding back anything. Content will be delivered as it's supposed to, according to the schedule.

If that is all that is being referred to then I'm not sure why the word amazing was used. I understand being hyped but that's going a bit too far I think.

Again, where was the word "amazing" used?

I, for one, am really appreciating the staggered content over multiple days, it works really well, rather than a massive splurge all at once.

Cheers GTP!

From my own experience the AI on FM4 back when I used to play was pretty good and the AI in PCars is in my opinion a good challenge. Many complain that they do nothing but crash into you in PCars, but I have to be honest that's not been my experience on the whole.

Completely agree. Project Cars Ai is the best there is. It's not perfect in every car track combination and you sometimes need to fine tune the Ai level (everything from 0% up to 100% is possible) dependent on the car but it's certainly the best Ai I've come across. Next best for me was on Game Stock Car Extreme on PC. Anyone who likes their sims on console and buys or is considering buying GTSport should certainly get Project Cars (will need ffb tuning), Dirt Rally and Assetto Corsa alongside PD's offering. If the content is varied enough it keeps things fresh. I suspect I may end up doing more photography in GT Sport and use the others for my driving and racing. However that's OK. They all have their strengths.

T12, let me ask you, did you guys have the chance to ask real questions? Politely, but real. Let me explain, Is like everyone is so charmed by Kaz that no one dares to ask him "hard" stuff, like, ok, Kaz, the event is amazing and all, but you've been promising better sounds and a lot of other things for years, we all know that takes time, but, how do you feel about it? We keep buying your games because we love them but this is getting almost "annoying". I mean, I'd not ask quite like that, but, you know, that sort of thing.
Anyway, cheers.

Don't know if this has already been mentioned but with cars being remodeled would it be safe to assume that there has or will be some overhaul in damage? Despite the fact that it wasn't activated on the build displayed at the copperbox.

Get the uncompressed videos and images on the PlayStation press center, but we have no permission to access the press center.

I used to have a password for the press center but isn't working anymore. Anyway, they didn't have everything in there, but it was quite amazing to find almost everything there.

We're fans just as much as any one of you guys are. We know what questions you want answered, as do we. You won't be disappointed by the questions asked, but it's a sensitive subject that you're almost never going to receive a clear cut answer to unless it's been directly promoted.

Just hang tight, the Q&A is coming. 👍

Speaking in photos, i think that i need one more life to explore these 1.000 locations...

Thanks mate, I really appreciate it :)
Any chance to see the Q&A session this week?

Cheers.
