Most of us are just racing game fans. We don't have the need to 'choose' one over the other. We try and play them all and form opinions of them all based on what we experience in all the others.
As I said, I played AC..

None of which makes it an arcade game, as you claimed.
I already mentioned about physics..

Ill never choose AC over GT. Just never. I don't like the lightning, I don't like the car models, they look plastic. Forza also look plastic to me. You just can laugh AC fans. but I'm just old GT pioneer 👍

All you've demonstrated is that you have a huge bias towards one game and your opinions are based on that bias, not based on an objective comparison of those games.

You stated the AC physics were arcade and have not backed that statement up with anything other than "Because I said so".

Pick the poison Kaz, VR or dynamic weather, both must be in 1080p/60 and locked, can't have both unless maybe dropping the number of car on track further.
Meanwhile, Sony boss wants GTS as flagship title for PSVR, Kaz suggests upgrading PS4, Shuhei Yoshida condone.

Fixed that for you.:D

By the way, at what resolution was GT5 running in 3D mode? Just in case these Digital Foundry screenshots are indicative of the cost of stereoscopy…

Graphics and IQ in GT6 is much worse than in GTHD/GT5P. So almost all of those stuff always came with visual downgrade of frame-rate hit.
That has nothing to do with your claim. You claimed AC and Forza are arcade and gt is the only realistic one and the only one for pros. I have had more fun on table top racing than I ever did on gt6, that doesn't mean its more realistic than gt6. EDIT: DOH Quoted wrong guy sorry.

Why you say "Because I said so" ? I said, that thats what I feel about AC, I think GT physics are more natural, but thats my opinion! ;) I didnt push to believe me or something.. c'moon :)

No wonder why Driveclub runs only in 30 fps, because they put so much I candy stuff basically. But enough for that!
My general thoughts about driving games is that, that mostly driving games like forza, AC etc etc... are only arcade games, I'm played them all, and I can feel that. just one game is really for professionals and it's GT. It feels realistic to play, the physics are always amazing to me. They (PD), put so much effort on details. I love it, and I will always love Gt series, because thats the only one driving game that inspires me to race in real life! Long live GT! Peace!

I actually think that was @Greatbee, no?

This is something that can be proved to be factually wrong though, because you said the competitors are arcade games and with inferior physics. So opinion or not, it can be wrong. It shouldn't be hard to explain why, since you've been able to come to a conclusion.

People are asking you to explain how you've come to that conclusion (considering you said you can feel the difference), because up until now, the only apparent reason you believe GT has better physics is because of which logo is printed on the disc.

Isn't it that with all this much more powerful hardware the driving sims come all much closer to reallife while only having differences in nuances ? The basics physics model doesn't differ that much does it? I find it for example easy to switch between Pcars and Dirt Rally. Handling comes in both "natural" while the 2 focus on completely different genres.

OT :embarrassed:

You are all comparing those games while here in France gas runs out and nucleair powerplants go on strike :ill:

/OT

...can't find those famous last words right now

Back during GT5's long gestation period, people liked to point to GT PSP as the scapegoat-du-jour. We don't have that this time. Though I imagine all would be forgiven if it's eventually revealed that GT7 is coming very shortly behind GTS – like, no more than a year out – with all the PS3 Premium content added back in plus more.

Unfortunately, that seems unlikely, given the infrastructure of GTS. It'd be shooting their championships in the foot if they released a game so soon after, with – I assume – the same basic premise baked in alongside the more traditional GT experience. Unless they keep all the FIA stuff isolated to GTS, which puts them in the awkward situation of supporting two games in tandem.

Honestly, I'm not sure what the plan is. This is the biggest change to the franchise since it started.

Yeah this is what I want to know. 2 years for GT7 sounds reasonable to me.

I agree, for the most part it's very easy to jump from game to game and get it with relative ease. Pcars can be, as long as you can find that setup that is just right but Forza and GT are so interchangeable and have so many similar situation, as well as very similar physics(while one or the other does something slightly different.) So it boggles me when someone can say that one is arcade, while the other is pure sim.

Wonder the same. Awaiting an important response. If he's the facebook guy it wouldn't surprise me, and if he is it helps my case 110%. :D

lol.. I wonder what these two dudes are up to and if they're still employed by PD? The old 'language barrier' thing people throw around stopping 'real communication' and PR is funny. PD, like any other half-way compotent company is well armed to deal with the English language. PD just don't want to do PR because it's pointless.

Yeah it's easy to see Kaz knows english well. The interview EVERYONE posted yesterday shows this. Translator-san said "last few weeks" and Kaz jumped in and said "last few months" to correct him.
