KM Also, can you recommend any good repeatable races for me to have a go at your records?

The only ones are Turismo and Rigged to Blow. I hate the other time trials like Patriot Playground and A Ride in the Park. I never really got into the GTA3 racing thing.

And I can't do Rigged to Blow with this Purple Nines glitch. But I intend to give Turismo a good seeing to one of these days.

I'm finding getting the Dodo up easy, just sometimes it dips too much and crashes into the water. Other times, I'm avoiding things, but trying to turn gently, and end up hitting something.

Just curious as to what you used for these-- if you prefer to keep it secret as far as location and what vehicle-- thats fine-- you will always run the chance of someone knocking you off if you do so I understand if you don't want to share.

I did a 14 second Dodo filight, I left off, went across the water and straight into a building.

Either fly off from the main runway, but backwards.
OR
Fly off on the runway to the right.

These are the best places to take-off from. Going backwards, you get more time, as you fly out to the invisible wall, and it spins you around, not affecting your flight.

Anyone got any tips on keeping it in the air for long periods of time?

Not one person has posted that stat in Spud's record book...is it even in Vice City, I dont remember it being in Vice...

The stat is in VC, but it changes constantly depending on your current distructivness.

It is in VC, definately. I used to always look at it. It changes frequently in GTA III, too.

I've been above 82,000 but I don't think I ever got a screenie of it-- it is pretty random in III but I don't really know what affects it in VC-- I know its destructiveness but specifically I can't say what bumps it (cop killing, car destruction, time at high wanted levels, etc..)...I know it stays pretty high if you kill with my hunter method (in my sig).

Yeah. I'm currently on $61582, and I've had my game playing for 14 hours straight, no pause, and I've hardly touched it. So I think it's a combination of destruction by peds and you. Basically, if a car blows up and/or someone dies, the cops have to clean it up so it costs them money. If you hit their car, they pay for it, etc. Anything that the cops would have to pay for goes into here I think.

Maybe that's why they have the prices of the car in the handling.cfg

Not yet Blake, not yet...

I finished The Exchange today so I went on a bit of a killing spree to celebrate, hence my new stats.

Racing is one of those things however that will need the right frame of mind and a few hours of time to spare. So when the moment is right, I will assault your Turismo time!

BTW, all I need to complete the emergency vehicle crane is the FBI car, anyone got any good strategies for getting it? I tried a few times to get it today but had no luck.
