GT Sport (November) Update Theory Discussion

I'm fine with it. They're certainly not going to drop any huge additions to the game in the middle of the FIA finals. That's why it's the first week of November now.

Anniversary of a game means nothing. A lot of games have had their anniversaries all they ever did was say happy bday on their twitter.

Alright here goes nothing:
First row
1. This could either be: GT500 SC430 -> BANDAI DIREZZA, DENSO, ENEOS, PETRONAS or the BASE model.
2. Mini Cooper don't know which year so ya'll can do the guessing game :P
3. Maserati GranTurismo S '08 duh..
Second row
4. Subaru IMPREZA Coupe 22B-STÌ Version '98
5. GT500 NSX for sure but difficult to say so my guess is the TAKATA one be surprised if it's the '03 version.
6. Ferrari 288 GTO '84 uppon closer look at the front bottom headlight, it perfectly matches the shape of the teaser silhouette. sorry stratos fans..can't see it being the 037 rally car either as the backside do not match at all...
Third row
7. Again the front nose of the car is too long for it to be a Cinque rather than the Zonda R so Pagani Zonda R '09 it is.
8. Jaguar E-Type Coupe '61

9. The closest match I could find is the 2008 version of the GT500 GTR: Calsonic, Motul Autech, WOODONE ADVAN, XANAVI NISMO or the Yellowhat one the hunch in the middle of the hood is the biggest clue.

Looking forward to hear how the Zonda sounds like in this update :D.

edit: On behalf of the NSX prediction I would very much go with the 2008 EPSON version rather than the 2006 TAKATA version (seeing the march update included only 2016 versions).

Ok, I'm going to ignore the cars as you've dealt with that. What I was wondering is what events and races will be added to GT League this time around. I like to try to guess these eaxh month as a personal "game".

With each update so far, we have got a new event in Beginner, Amateur, Professional and occasional races in Endurance, plus 2 new races in existing events in each of the three categories.

This time around, I can't predict any of the new events based on the cars being added :ouch:.

For new races, I think it's seemingly highly likely there will be a new Endurance event at Catalunya (GR1?) and 2 new races in the Professional Super GT event (Fuji and Catalunya?) with the new cars included.

Maybe more races in the Amateur Pre 1979 event (due to the addition of the E Type) or i think more likely 2 new Boxer races due to last month's addition of the 2 Porsches.

The new races in Beginner could be anything with only 3 races currently, e.g. the French event.

Anyone have thoughts on the possible new events this time?

Here is my prediction for what events might get updated with next week's update (6 Nov):

Beginner:

Nissan GT-R/Skyline event gets updated with 2 new races, most likely Fuji and Cataluyna
Grp 4 event gets updated with 2 new races probably Cataluyna and Red Bull ring.

New series - Subaru 4WD championship.

Amateur::

Pre-1979 event updated for new car and possibly new track Cataluyna

Professional

Grp2 Race league gets Fuji and Cataluyna and the new Grp 2 cars added.
La Festa Cavillano updated so we can race the new Ferrari.

New event - not sure

Endurance

New Grp2 championship for 25-30 laps.

I'm thinking one new event for the Mercedes W08 event utilizing the Catalunya track since others are mentioned now.
MMX
Fuji Circuit Experience. Don't think we got that yet, right?
Yeah definitely. As for the loaner car, I think they're gonna let us use any of the Toyota Gr.3 cars or TS050.

i think according to the other GT Sport Gr,2 cars and the model year, those old GT500 are the:
- Lexus Petronas Tom´s SC430 2008
- Honda Epson NSX 2008
- Nissan Motul Autech GT-R 2008

Maybe in a future update the Toyota YellowHat YMS Supra 2005 come to the game.

Hmm I think you are mostly right about the NSX one being the Epson 2008 model as the March update included all the 2016 versions.
I do not mind the Lexus being petronas but if the GTR is another motul I would not like it very much as we already have the 2016 version Motul Autech, I would very much prefer it to be the calsonic, xanavi or the woodone advan one than the motul autech.

On behalf of the Yellowhat Supra I think the Castrol Toms '97 one is more likely to be included due to it's fame but eh.. I don't mind either way.

Hopefully the Pagani Zonda R is in N-Class like Aston Martin's Vulcan ithink it will line up as N700.

I hope the add the Ferrari FXX [N800] in the next update to complete the set of track cars in GT Sport.

The Zonda R and the Ferrari FXX as you mentioned are likely to be Gr. X cars, but it’s rather odd that the Aston Martin Vulcan is an N800 car.

no matter, you have the livery editor, for example in the Raybrig NSX 2016 i have the Castrol 2000 livery

I'd love to see some of the really challenging circuits come back. Here are some that I thought were really fun in GT6:

Laguna Seca, Spa, London, Madrid, Rome, Monaco and Tokyo R246

I'd love to see some other tracks too: Phillip Island and Eastern Creek in Australia are 2 super challenging tracks that are a blast to drive IRL, and they'd make really fun racing in GT (imo).

I'd be less fussed about new cars than be able to get existing cars and race prep them. For example, Porsche's GT3 *should* be customizable so you can race it as a Gr3 car.

Are there any confirmed tracks besides Catalunya coming to on November 6th? Monaco? Laguna Seca?
So far it is only Catalunya confirmed for the next update, whether there will be another track with it is unknown...

Laguna Seca was a translation/misunderstanding/error as the people at Forbes believes it is already part of the games track list (which is not).

And Monaco is so far the location for the FIA WORLD FINALS and there is the possibility that the track will be part of it, but so far the only real confirmation is the location in which the Finals race will take place.

Thank you for information.

Quoted from Forbes:

Monaco of course is the famous street circuit that stages the most popular F1 race of the year, and a track that will no doubt be an integral part of the world final. Whoever wins the American final, they will have to know the twisty street track well, a course that is notorious for being one of the most difficult to overtake.

This sounds much more than just a possibility to me... but of course, we will know for sure no earlier than later in november.

The same article thinks Laguna Seca is already part of the game.

I really don't think we should be trusting Forbes, which is not at all a Gran Turismo specalist website, or even a gaming specalist site, as a news source.

Wouldn't matter either way. It would get a Denso Sard GT '99 livery on it before it finished downloading!

Someone has to put this livery on the Mini Cooper S '07 to bring it out of the cutting room floor.

never saw it before, some gameplay with this car in internet and why never appeared in the final GT5 version?

Thought I'd have a go at the predicting the cars in the next few updates.
