I'm pretty sure that is the multiplayer streaming to another users machine and the GTS shot is a replay. The PC2 footage is also from a bad quality vid of a stream whereas the GTS vid is direct capture. PC2 does not look that bad in reality. However, PC2 does not look as good as GTS in my experience.
That's replay footage
I think it's a bug

Its replay footage on youtube, of a screen getting streamed to that youtube screen. It's compression on top of compression. I doubt the roads are going to look invisible like that in the replays, Unless that was a specifically foggy track lol.

I don't think it's because of youtube

It's odd, to say the least. Your screen grab looked a worse than the video did. But the only other thing I can think of is that one is the quality between the direct feed from the GTS replay and the stream from the event is messed.

The director of PCars 2 can say a lot, but to me, and this is obviously personal preference, in terms of visual fidelity, there is GT and then other racing games. It has something to do with the way the lighting is reproduced, and the weight of the cars. Don't really know how to explain it, but that's something that GT has always had.
Now, of course, maybe is not that extreme in terms of simulation, but I'll wait for the final release to judge anything. At least for me, the feeling of driving a car, and at least my car, is there.
Now, going back on topic, Forza 6 was great, and is still looks great, but the lighting in the last footage from GTS is just too awesome.

For me, I think it comes down to the combination of the materials, shaders, and lighting engine that make it stand out from the rest. They definitely excel in those area's. I'm waiting to give FM7 a try to see the visuals on my own, on my console, but the atmosphere and visual fidelity on that game is leaving me in just as much awe as GTS currently is as well. These two games are going to run great with me, as I'm addicted to photomode

Is this a bug in Pc2? Or will it look like this on PS4?

It looks like that because of the fog. Its a shot from far away and you can only see the headlights throught that fog.

Honestly, at E3, all three were very impressive (adding PCARS2 into the mix). I wouldn't call any of them bad looking, and I think anybody that does is likely blinded by a heavy bias. It's different levels of impressive too; GT Sport looks stunning in a hyper-realism sort of way, and while neither of the other games can quite match its smaller details, they both have dynamic time/weather. Seeing that in motion is very eye-catching, in a way that GT Sport, with its static time of day, just can't match. Swings and roundabouts.

WRC7 looked pretty great as well, but that may have been slightly influenced by the awesome motion rig it was running on!* :D

* (just kidding: we tried it on a regular screen and it was good there too).

I agree, they all have their own levels of great visual fidelity. The dynamic instances alone on Pcars2 and FM7 really makes up for the differences that GT excels at, I feel. It's also very much about the atmosphere of the tracks as well, in my opinion.

I've seen GTS' photomode and I'm anxious for that. FM7 is supposed to get an update in the photomode department as well, so I'm looking forward to that as well. It would be great if they can let you transition the weather(hopefully we learn more about TOD, because that would be great to do as well) how you want in photomode. Pcars2 I have not looked into their photomode, but I've heard it has greatly improved. I don't think I'm going to have enough time for actually racing, in the months coming

I totally agree with this. Luckily with the GTS beta, being a member of WMD and having downloaded some direct capture footage of FM7 from e3 I can say that they all look much better in all their glory (4k and HDR where possible) than the you tube vids that most will have seen. I think FM7 in particular has stepped upto the plate and it now runs GTS very close in the visual department. PC2 is never going to match the quality of the other two but then it's doing so much more in other areas that you just don't care. What a time to be a racing game fan!

Impressions on GAF* are saying F7 and GTSport look fantastic (more impressed with F7) but PCARS 2 isn't close with lots of Aliasing on the PS4.

*people at the Gamescom show floor.

Can't say I'm surprised though. PCARS 2 is a step up from the original but it isn't close to the other two in my opinion.

I would say that's because of the aim and scope of the game. They have a certain level of beauty, but that is not something they put on the front line like FM7 and GTS. Where they excel in is area's that GTS and Forza fall short on in comparison, like the physics for example.

I also noticed somebody complaining about the controls of PCARS 2 which was my biggest issue with the original by far.

Yeah, that is totally fair. The budget and time of development isn't on their side as well.

For pads as well?
Yes. I have played racing games almost exclusively with a wheel for the past 10 years but when I joined PC2 development I made sure I spent plenty of time with the pad as I knew it was an issue in the first game. Using an Xbox one pad on the PC I have found it to be great at default and with slight tweaks to two settings, speed sensitivity and steering sensitivity, I had it feeling pretty much spot on.

Thats great to hear, because that was one of my main gripes as well.

It's true, some games excels in some areas than others, but again this is personal preference and only from a visual stand point, GT is still better.
I've managed to see the demo for F7 and even though is impressive, there is still something off about it. It looks miles better than PCars 2, and I can't really fall in love with their visual style, is just aweful for me in a very odd and ilogical way.

No idea who thought the windscreen wipers and shifter having seizures during the race was a good idea.

I'm...pretty sure the wipers and spoilers aren't supposed to be moving around like that when you're traveling at 60mph

According to what @TS050 said it seems like he was right found some footage of some GT500 cars giving some goes at Fuji while wipers and side mirrors seems to vibrate during intense accelaration:

You can barely see the spoiler moving but I am pretty sure they also vibrate during intense accelaration.

EDIT: on a side note comparing the actual gtr gt500 sound from Forza to real life seems like Forza sounding is also not accurate (it sounds too high pitched while the IRL one has a more lower tone to it) IMO

mirrors are shaking but the whipers it seems to be more a camera movement that the whiper itself, also I don't find bad the shaking in the SuperGT cars in Forza, but I remember seeing footage of the 911 GT2 with shaking whipers in the Dubai track at barely 60 km/h

You can tell the wiper is moving by comparing it's position to the black square just above the wiper tip.

I am 100% certain that it is not the camera but the wiper itself moving see 0:58 : while the car was turning left you can clearly see the wiper shaking and even moving to the right (I suppose it is because of the G-force).

at 3.22.. The way the clouds appear is quite strange ... like a dissolve in video..

GT5/6 dynamic weather was practically the same (only it did not have moving clouds)
So I do not have much issue with disolving clouds.

On a side note I am very impressed how materials and shaders are working in Forza 7 it could pretty much be equal in comparison with GTS onlt that the lighting is well still not there yet.

Yes the system of skybox is in fact only animation in 2D with apparition and disappearing in melted.. For the blow it reminds me the video fan made on GT sport with the dynamic time
It breaks a bit the natural rendering of the sky, but I imagine it is already good ..

PD uses the same cloud image in different locations and tracks.
It looks very strange, but I don't know if these will be replaced at launch.
