I'm sitting on 7mil at the moment. I rely mostly on daily workouts to get my cars, and I have no intention of grinding for the 20mil Ferrari and Jag.

Currently I have 131 unique cars, out of a total of 193 (according to the Master Car List here). I only bought 31 of them, rest are prize cars or Daily Workout cars :).

Most expensive car I bought was the Cobra for 2mil, and since then I have got 3 more of it through the Daily Workout :D.

So I put a lot of faith in the GT Gods lol :P

EDIT: Just rechecked, and my memory was playing me. I DID win the Cobra in the daily workouts, plus 3 more later haha. So I haven't spend over a mil on a single car then, most expensive being some Gr.3 cars. Let the game do the work :D
👍

Didn’t Kaz say something, pre-release, about no single-seaters? Or was that just related to the FIA championships?

I guess when you have various tuner cars and other oddities that don’t fit into a specific class, anything is possible.

Not a bad list, but I don't know if I care for slow older cars. I'd prefer some newer cars that Forza is getting. I am aware that up to March it mostly cars from older titles. From then on I'm really hoping they start introducing newer cars. And if it's something old let it be a Pagani or something.

I did some adjusting to the following cars in question.

I honestly think this is likely the 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T. The roofline has a very similar shape that Challenger along with the front bumper. When one user pointed out the "pointy" bumper. The actual 1970 challenger has a slight point to its front bumper, the shape of if in this pictures looks quite similar to the 1970 Challenger's bumper to be honest. The windshield appears to be the same shape aswell. Though, it could also be very well the Plymouth AAR Cuda as that was also in Gran Turismo 6.

EDIT: Another thing to note is that there's no light reflection on the back part of the roof, which indicates that the car could have a vinyl roof. In which, both the Challenger R/T and AAR Cuda in GT6 have one.

For this, I did notice a slight hint of a back wing, so it's very likely a Formula car at least. I'm going to have to say the Lotus 97T is quite likely.

That headlight shape along with the grill looks very much like the current gen Subaru WRX STi. I have to guess it's either one of the race cars or the new Type RA due to that wing in the back.

If this turns out to be the SW20 Toyota MR2, I'm betting due to the front bumper's light reflection and the wing that it's the 1997 GT-S. The roofline towards the back is very close to the SW20.

How did you hear that we will only get older cars up to March? And getting newer cars after March?

It seem like a couple of cars in this update are new, but mostly they are previous cars from previous GT titles. Kaz had an interview where he said they will add new cars eventually. I think it was a Japanese interview and someone translated it here.

I'm most excited about the last one. Been demanding open wheel cars for GT Sport for a long time. I'm hoping it's a Lotus 97T rather than the LCC Rocket. I think it's the 97T. At first I thought it was the Rocket but if you look at the flat surface next to the cockpit, it looks lower and more defined than it would be on the Rocket .

Hope we get monza classic layout to go with lotus 97t :)
Would love la sarthe,Silverstone, spa and Tokyo route 246 that was my fav GT city track ever. Reverse my preference. New York, Seoul, mid field raceway, apricot hill, trial mountain, red bull ring man there’s so many great tracks.

Oh guys if that second car in the middle row could be an Urraco - I'm sure it's a Pantera, but I truuuuly hope I'm wrong. I would pay 120$ for this game. I would sooo recreate this:

But that doesn't mean that I'm not happy about the Pantera!

Also, forgive me for asking this, I'm just 15, not so knowledged, but could anyone tell me how can PD (or any other company) get a license for DeTomaso? What can they do when the company's dead? Or they got a license from the new DeTomaso, which is already dead?
Hey fella, Google the Pantera you know it won the GT World championship back in the day beating ferrari and porsches in the day so has alot of relevance would be great if we got the race car version.

I feel we need more race cars a classic race car catalogry would go down really well

Yes we need F1 cars any in fact
I remember when I posted that hope we get open wheel cars hopefully F1 and some people were like that’s not gonna happen kaz said no. Same with classics I was like they will change there minds. So glad we’re getting these cars. All modern would have been boring.

Me too.

My father had one for two weeks, when I was 14 years old.
It was the first time he and I went over 100mph in a car.

Getting dropped off at school in the morning in that blue monster,
for two weeks, I was the coolest kid in school.
This car made me happy in my childhood too. I also had a Pantera! A Diecast White...lol
It was the most remarkable car as a kid.

Nice update. 👍 Hope to see more race cars, but I think PD should prioritize to add more tracks first. My thought probably they were planned to add more tracks as possible first and then dropped a big chunk of race cars selections. Maybe that's why they don't give us race cars yet since GTS needs more playground.

Also, with what possibly looks like Lotus 97T making appearance with no doubt the missing brand is finally return to GTS. And it is one heck of a car to represent Lotus comeback there is. Who's not liking that gorgeous John Player's livery by the way? :sly: :D
