You mean buy the cars you got for free with in game currency which is completely free and not influenced by microtransactions? Yup, that’s free DLC buddy.
Nope,
In my Professional Life, I charge $250 per hour for my time.
So to get to drive all of these cars, will require a grind of at least 25 REAL Hours Behind the Wheel.
Add that up, 25 x $250.00 and My Cost to get these, so called FREE DLC cars is: $6,250.00

I'd much rather par a $9.99 DLC fee or even a $19.99 DLC fee, and have All the cars Added to My Garage for Immediate Use.
Instead, I've got to Waste 25 or More hours of my time to earn enough In Game Credits so that I can Drive all these "not Free" Cars.
I could use the same 25 hours to earn $6,250 Real Dollars..

So tell me again it is Free my friend?, because this Certainly isn't Free...
to me, it's rather quite Expensive waste of my Time to grind to earn in Game credits.

Are you losing work hours to play GT?
Because I’m playing GT on my free time, so obviously I’m not losing money when playing.

What?

Anyways, if you were just given DLC content off the bat in the first place and you don’t need to earn anything, then it all just seems uninteresting to me. All these new breed driving sims spoil the player by giving them unlimited access to everything on the disk and their respective paid DLC packs with no progression whatsoever. GT has always been about grinding to earn better cars, so you must have gotten off on the wrong stop if you were expecting a sandbox game.

“How dare you, Ubisoft?! I payed for the Assassins Creed game and I lost work hours playing the game!!! The end game cinematics should autoplay when I turn my PS4 on!”

That’s how he’s sounding to me.

Free time. What is Free time.. Every minute has a price to it...

I have to make a choice..
Work a few extra Hours OT and earn real Money...
or
Not Earn real money, and use the few hours to Enjoy GT Sport.

I don't have to play GT sport, I could use the same time to earn real money..
Grinding to me is the Biggest waste of my time and waste of my money.
I'd rather, just be able to use the car to Enjoy a race with it.
And get enjoyment out of the limited Set time I set aside to play GT sport.

But let me ask you... What is your Time worth?
do you have a family? What is taking time away from Family worth just to Grind?

Grinding is the Worst aspect of GT, always has been, always will be.. It adds little to no value to the Sim.
Give me the car, Let me race with it against my Friends for an Hour or two...

That's how I want to Enjoy the time I set aside for this..
I don't want to waste my time Grinding..

Pretty much, I don’t care what kind of excuses people make for how these free content updates are secretly paid dlc in disguise. If there’s no price tags attached to anything after the game comes out it’s free. It doesn’t matter if someone’s subject opinion is that the game didn’t fulfill a 60$ price or if they use their work hours and somehow equate that to the game. A free thing is a free thing.

This has to be the stupidest debate I’ve ever been in, trying to explain to people how a $0.00 item is free.

That.... or your overpaid;) I, like others, prefer a sense of progression in stead of just buying a pack. But in that sense why not work 24/7 and earn 42k a week;)

Since WTCC no longer exists and has moved to TC-R regs then I didn't bother to list them.

Either way it'd just be nice to have a decent touring car game (or element within a game) on the PS4. The Grid games were far to arcade-y, PC1 only had the 320si (which handled like crap), I haven't played PC2 but the fictional TC cars they've added don't really inspire me and everything else was either XBOX or PC.
I have the most fun and most miles racked up, with TCR in PC2. Closest racing I've had with AI @100/100. The 320TC is much improved. Handles well, but the fwd cars are awesome.

i only hope that we can change its livery, so i can replicate other F1s as well, even tho its unlikely
Why wouldn't you be able to change its livery? It's a 30 year old F1 car from a small manufacturer. Many F1 cars compete in historic events with different liveries.

As for price, no way will an old F1 car be 20m cr. At most it'll be 5m cr like a modern LMP. It's the historic Le Mans cars that have extortionate price tags.

If I was making 250$ an hour I wouldn't even be playing videogames and on this forum arguing with nerds, I'd be finding better more expensive hobbies where the poors don't matter, like polo or golfing.

Let me rephrase it

It is FREE of CHARGE (Of any real currency), independent of the time you could use to earn the necessary in-game currency needed to buy the cars.

I won't question how you spend your time, though, all up to you

I've got to Waste 25 or More hours of my time to earn enough In Game Credits so that I can Drive all these "not Free" Cars.
I could use the same 25 hours to earn $6,250 Real Dollars..
Videogames are a waste of time; in other news, fire burns and the sun is bright

To each its own. Although your ideal racing game would be Project cars 2 which has everything unlocked. I do enjoy grinding, even though I have 2 toddlers, my own company (approx. 60 hours a week) no weekenddays off etc. For me the grind is an essential part of GT sport. Lots of modern games have paid DLC for unpatient people who just want to progress fast (mobile gaming). Its like playing mario and just paying to unlock all levels and just play the last level to be done with it.

Also, is there any chance that Mustang shape could be the Mach 40 SEMA car? The rear roofline slope looks oddly shallow.

Nah, its much too narrow. Compare that to the Ford GT Shape from the teaser pic of the last DLC pack and you'll see that doesn't add up.

Le mans is comming ...

Abit optimistic there with that claim.

Not very much Ferrari cars in Gran Turismo is there?

In GT6, the Master Car List only have 6 Ferrari cars.

In GT Sport, the Master Car List only have 8 Ferrari cars so far.

I am guessing PD don't like the Ferrari brand very much???

The fact both of the last two DLC packs have had at least 1 Ferrari in them (well two in both) and that Ferrari are even in the game would suggest the opposite.

You’re making 250/hour... and you have doubts about earning more money or playing videogame. I usually think I want to earn more money, so I can do things I like. Like GT. When I play, I don’t feel I’m losing time, money or anything else. If you feel this way, you probably found your hobby elsewhere (earning money). I just hope you have something to do with that money, cause it might become just another grind...

That comparison doesn't hold up very well. You're treating your game play as if it were a job. Unless you're getting payed to play this, to which I would envy you, comparing your hourly professional compensation to your hourly leisure entertainment doesn't work. The cars are free of financial cost, and no one is forcing you to even play the game long enough to drive them but yourself.

Your statements make you sound as if you don't even enjoy the game, which I would then wonder why you're playing it then.

You sound a barrel of laughs lol.

It's free content. You may have to play the game to earn it, but the content is free. I would've thought @ $250 an hour, you'd grasp that pretty quick to be honest.

Time can quickly come to an end, and to obsess over how much your time is worth is not time well spent imo. Just do what you want. That's worth it isn't it?

I can't tell if you're serious about this, but this isn't exactly something to look over in a specific thread like this.

Anywho, car #12 has to be some sort of Formula car, because a Rocket doesn't look like that.

There are people who are willing to create a new account, grind for credits and sell the password for $249 times the number of hours spent grinding.

Everyone wins right? :D

Why wouldn't you be able to change its livery? It's a 30 year old F1 car from a small manufacturer. Many F1 cars compete in historic events with different liveries.

Are there cars you cant change paint/put liveries on?

Hey!!! Im poor and I golf all the time. It can be fairly inexpensive if you walk/play municipal courses. Of course, if you keep losing balls, well that could be a problem:)

I'm surprised more people aren't questioning some random person claiming they actually get paid $250 dollars an hour. I mean the fact they supposedly make that much and still find the aspect of playing gts to earn credits, in the same realm as loosing work is hilarious. Especially when you stop and think... "why the hell are you on here posting and wasting time when you could have been making an extra $250".
