If one more person says this is an LCC Rocket, so help me

I've grinded my balance up to 16.5 million at the weekend to be ready. I went to bed last night thinking about liveries and what crazy liveries will be in the discovery section.

Can't say Im excited for the any of these. Infact aside from the R32 and R34, none of the other DLC cars have floated my boat so far.

Road car-wise we need more honda's, EK9, DC2, S2000 etc then how about some 'current' cars, Focus RS, Civic Type R FK8.

I also feel we need more (varied) racing cars (and groups) Gt500/300 for a start then (more importantly to me) some Touring Cars: BTCC, TC-R, Super Taikyu etc. I can understand game makers not wanting to include BTCC as the cars are only used in UK and may not have the same worldwide appeal, but TC-R is one of the fastest growing categories since GT3, yet aside from the Astra in PC2 no other games seem to include them.

How about WTCC then...

Nothing more diverse than yet another GT-R and two more Wedge cars over a car that's literally never been in the game before

BMW M1 hasn't been in the game before, and the Pantera is a perfect dodecahedron isn't it(?) - nothing like a wedge at all eh.....

Since WTCC no longer exists and has moved to TC-R regs then I didn't bother to list them.

Either way it'd just be nice to have a decent touring car game (or element within a game) on the PS4. The Grid games were far to arcade-y, PC1 only had the 320si (which handled like crap), I haven't played PC2 but the fictional TC cars they've added don't really inspire me and everything else was either XBOX or PC.

Hondas over Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, Supra, RX-7, and so on? I think not:yuck:

It's really too bad PD doesn't let you 'race modify' the normal cars like you could do in the older GT games. Then they could satisfy both those who enjoy driving road cars and those that want new race cars. I'm an old school GT fan so all of these road cars being added is making me super happy but it's really strange with GTS being so FIA/Online racing focused PD isn't adding new GR. race cars.

Precisely! As much as I appreciate the nostalgia, You'd have thought their focus would have been to get current cars and their racing counterparts into the game. But it's more a case of so long as each manufacturer has at least one Gr.4 and Gr.3 car (regardless of wether it's current or not) then that's all we need.

Even if we go for the diversity points the update includes the alpine A110 and two different types of muscle cars so really what's the big deal aside from I want a BMW M1. Just get a sambabus and write the request out like the rest.

As for those above talking about cars that PDI should focus on...

I believe of a more focus on filling brands that lacks certain groups with new or old cars.

Maybe focus on tracks first and foremost.

Then focus on more older & newer race cars from GR.1, GR.3, GR.4. For instance GR.1 race car like Toyota TS020 GT1. DTM, Super GT etc.. :D

I also agree that PD should add road cars, sports cars, supercar, or Hypercars from the past or present.

As for brands that are not in the game yet, the Lotus F1 97 or 98 will be the introduction of Lotus. So PD are sneakily bringing brands into the game.

To those who are questioning which Lotus the update will contain...

Do you really think PD will have gotten hold of ANOTHER Lotus F1 car from the 80’s so that they could go through the whole model building process AGAIN, instead of touching up the GT6-model they already had...?
no

My first post here since I registered but I was very excited with the tweet when I read the article on Saturday.

There are quite a number of cars in this tweet that make me very happy they are to be added to GT Sport however I do hope to see
some new track addition as well as the main thing I would like to see added soon is some more tracks which I know is work in
progress.

My bank balance is pretty set at 19.4 million as I was going to be bankrupt as had planned to buy the Ferrari 330 race car and
then got it as my daily drive prize car yesterday.

Welp, welcome to the world of gtPlanet!

I'm excited of the new Alpine, I didn't knew it existed until now. And since you've got 19.4 mil, can you lend me some money? (Jk)
