I dont really Dislike any of the tracks....There were some i didnt like but as i went through the various comps and indurances i learned them all to a certain extent and enjoy them all....I will say that after a couple of hours driving Nurb it starts to look all the same in places and i have to put in Bspec Bob for a stint...I loved Tokyo but ive been round it so many times (doing that short indurance was my cash cow for a few weeks) it bores me a little...Didnt like Infion at all but once you get a car set up properley its a great challenge with fast and slow sections...Well i even liked the old rome track, the one they took out because of suposed hate factor in the community? I wish they had kept the pikes peak hill climb too...that was a good challenge.....

If i had to choose a track I dont like to drive it would have to be Seatle reverse. Its a bit of the boredom factor i think its been in there since GT2...and i dont like the "Steps" going down hill in a fast car its usually crash city for me as the car gets light over the downhill.

The track(s) I hate the most is/are the Autumn Ring and Autumn Ring Mini because they're too short. I'm more into tracks where it takes almost 10 mins to do one lap and gives time to enjoy the track rather than tracks that take like 1 min - 3 mins to complete one lap. Which is why I like Nurburgring Nordschleife and that long track in GT3, and the SSR11 in GT1&2. Those are the tracks I really enjoy the most but don't like the Autumn tracks what-so-ever :yuck:  👎

HONG KONG is the Worst - i Live here and not only is this track completely fictional, there are so MANY nicer roads in town that would've made a better racing track

Then the Parissiene tracks also piss me off big time - Cote D-Azur is nice though.

I seriously dislike the Hong Kong track. It is incredibly difficult to find any sort of flow on that track.Still it was the track that my greatest comeback ever was on so I do have some happy memories of it.

Autumn Ring is not one of my favourites either, along with the Opera Paris track.Paris is too stop/start while Autumn Ring feels like a bunch of random corners thrown together.

Favourite track you ask? Special Stage Route 5/Tokyo R246.I love 'em.

The track that has BY FAR the worst flow is George Paris. It's just...floor it...full brakes....floor it....full brakes.... every 4 seconds.

I so totally agree. I tryed it a little while ago after some break time away from the game ( I really got the dt's after not playing for a week. shacks and everything  ) and that track really made angry. I was trying to get a good pic of my svt mustang on that track and it's like being stuck on the 401 here is southern ontario passing through Toronto from here in London and it's just stop and go, stop and go, etc...makes me wanna blow a fuse, lol

I hate tracks with lots of right-angle corners, e.g. New York, Opera Paris, Hong Kong, George V Paris (but I like the Arc de Triomphe roundabout there). I often try to apex the corners too much and foolishly clip/smash into the barriers. B-Spec Bob sucks on these tracks too, particularly Opera Paris and Hong Kong. My FGT has no advantage over the Sauber Mercedes on Opera Paris and Hong Kong and ends up losing becuases it mashes its tyres up too quickly.

Yeah. . . I really started hating it when I took the Formula GT there, literally right after I won it from the Nurb. endurance. The thing was bouncing all over the place, sliding, and even if I did get a good line on one turn, I would be screwed for the next. That track should only be driven with rally cars or a Karmann Ghia . . .

And the winners are....(drums)....

1. George V paris - I've been playing for a long time and I still don't understand what was PD thinking :irked: , and men! have you seen the demo of the game when you press triangle (NTCS Ver.), how out of place does the Speed 8 look in that track???, I consider it more like an exhibition track than a racing one.

2. Autumn Ring - Like someone else said before, random curves and corners thrown all together, and it's sooo un-real.

3. Tsukuba - BOOOOOOOOORIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNGG....

4. Beginner Course - it speaks fo itself

5. Twin Ring Motegi Road Course - even though it is a high speed track...it's quite dull at the same time and not challenging at all. 👎

I think Hong Kong is not so bad, yes it's hard to overtake and it's a slow track, but there are worse...Seoul Central is pretty sad...only 6 corners for a very nice city like Seoul? :indiff:

Ohhh and the Holy Molly Nurburgring Nordschleife is my baby, followed by Suzuka ;)

Ciao....

either hong kong or opera paris...

hong kong - 90 degree turns get old...leanr something by that. change the turns!!!

opera paris - i dont need to explian...pure hatred towards that track. to win the 206 race, i just bought a 206 rally car just so i could beat it quicker :)

I can't believe anyone can actually dislike actual tracks. Some of the Sony created ones (Original Circuits) I can see as they fall outside of "simulation", but how much more of a "simulation" can you get than REAL tracks?

Some of you need to go buy NFSU2 and drift all day long in full body-kitted, ricer glory on a made up course.

polyphony created?

It's funny to see so much hatred of the Opera course. I rather enjoy driving it; it's really fun to come in hot into the right-left combo leading to the back side hairpin, on the brakes and barely under control, after passing on the short straight that necks down just before. That was a hoot to do in the A4 racecar in the DTM series.

I like Hong Kong, too; you can flow a bit through parts of it, though there are a few invisible projections that can trip you up. Seoul is a bit dull - kinda like New York, but without the interesting back side bit.

Honestly, in GT4 I can't say I hate any of the tracks. I have hardly driven at all on George V, however.

bwahahaha nice comparison with the 401 :D

I avoid the 401 pretty much at all costs.

Here's my updated worst tracks list - New York, Hong Kong, Ice Arena. I hate the tracks where its just WOT and then drop to first gear, rinse wash and repeat.

Hong Kong is horrible and Grand Canyon is far to long and boring, it's almost impossibleto not hit the side on some of those turns.

I think it would be a lesser game without the Parisian tracks, but what I would REALLY like to see would be the Peripherique (the 4 lane ring-road around the centre of Paris)! That would really be something!

My most disliked tracks are those from "grid" cities: New York, Hong Kong and Seoul. I also dislike Suzuka, but only because I'm rubbish at it. It's basically one of the worlds great circuits.

I think I posted here before, but I got another track. 2 words: Hong Kong.
OMG I am just having so much trouble with it. the turns are almost .5 seconds after the last turn you did. The straight? God, you enter a seriously blnd corner at 20 kph; and its hard to judge braking point. This track is a Beach!

I'm starting to have a boiling dislike for Grand Canyon. It's too narrow to pass the other cars. Those running spectators should be slapped with a 5 second penalty; they're annnoying and should be hit with a car. I can say this on an internet forum, because they're not real.

Actually, I hate Grand Canyon because the AI doesn't miss a beat there, for some reason, unlike every other track.

I forgot to add Fuji 2005 to the list of my hated tracks. I just can't find it that fun and the last 3 corners before the straigh annoy me.

tracks i hate... let me see.... hong kong...why did PD actully put it int there?? ;)

tsukuba-autum ring i hate them too.

but, i loooove the nurburgring nordschleife and the deep forest!

I don't get the hate for Hong Kong - it's not half as boring as some of the other city tracks; it's got the two very different speed hairpins and the nicely judged fast right handers near the start, plus the slippery surface (and the sudden change of surface through those right handers) and the constantly changing width of the course makes it fun. I get much more bored on Seattle, New York and even Tokyo (yeah, it's got lots of different corners, but on anything with decent tyres it's almost all full throttle...)

I enjoy most of the tracks i drive on the ring especially but the ones i hate are:

Infineon both tracks
Laguana Seca not a big fan
Paris both tracks
Chamonix
Cathedral roacks one and two

icephenoix55

Wow, how can you hate Sears Point? It's a fabulous track - my second favorite after the 'ring. And actually, I even prefer driving Sears Point to the 'ring; it's just so much shorter that the Green Hell gets the nod.

The only tracks I dislike now are Seoul Circuit and Manhattan, Seoul is just too plain while New York is more of a graphical excerise than a actual track.

The worst:
-El Capitan - It's boring, bumpy, impossible to keep the wheels on the ground, and ugly.

Others I hate:
-Twin Ring Motegi (ALL of them) - They are the most boring, featureless tracks in the entire game. They have some difficult corners, but there's no fun, it's just endlessly grey and dull.
-Fuji Speedway 2005 - Another incredibly boring and featureless grey wasteland. There's so much grey that it's hard to figure out where the track is a lot of the time.
-Fuji Speedway (all others) - Boring and featureless
-Hong Kong - BORING!
-Special stage route 5 - BORING! I hate street courses.
-Suzuka (all of them) - The corners are all layed out in a goofy way that's challenging but not particularly fun
-Sarthe - You can only drive in straight lines for so long before you want to just fall asleep...
-Seoul - Boring street course
-New York - Boring street course again
-High Speed Ring - I don't like the corner layout plus it's quite dull
-I hate pretty much all the rally stages with the exception of the Italian street course which is very challenging, and the Paris tracks... don't know why I like those

Wow... after reading that, I'm pretty full of hate, lol. So, for some love, I love:
-Autumn Ring and Autumn Ring Mini - best two tracks in the game, I love the chicane section, and they are even better in reverse. :)
-Deep Forest - Beautiful and fun
-Trial Mountain - Beautiful and challenging, but in a fun way
-Nurburgring - What a challenge!
-Grand Valley - Beautiful and fun
-Laguna Seca - I've always loved that hairpin
-Tsukuba - I LOVE this track, it's so simple and fun to drive, yet somehow challenging as well
