Just so long as GT4 doesn't resort to airfield tracks (excpet maybe Silverstone) ... they're downright boring, kinda like the Las Vegas Grand Prix which was held in the Caesar's Palaace car park in the early 80's!

Mind you, they (airfields and Caesars Palace) would be good for drifiting (but I know nothing about it so go figure) ...

Clumbman Stage 5 has been confirmed, you should add it to the list.
I already have SS route 5 as confirmed
but have yet to see any confirmation of Clubman route 5, but with the swathe of information that came out over the last 2 weeks i may have missed it, so If you can provide a link to info on The Clubman stage being confirmed, could you please post it, and i will ammend. 👍

Watch this movie, all of it. It is great. 👍
Pause the movie at 2:42, there is a shot of a track, it is labeled Clubman Stage 5.

There is also a track called Driving Park, but it may just be 20R 60R renamed.

That's an great article 👍

Also mentionned : Toyota 88C and Chamonix street course (there's an ice racing track in Chamonix).

And interesting comment of JGTC driver Benoit Treluyer : It's jut like my real car in the JGTC. The kerbs, grip level and the overall character of the tracks are all very good. One point where it's easier than in real life is on grass - the game lets you recover quickly. In real life it's a lot more difficult.

I made mention of the 88C on the Master list earlier.(One of my fav group Cs)
For those without knowledge of the differing Suzuka configurations, see image below.

Yes, I saw it too late. Good prediction Samberto!

Looks like Suzuka East is very basic : an oval with esses on one of the straights.

Do you race?

I would like to see sebring. it's a fun track, and the uneven surfaces can really affect your corner speeds.

Sebring isn't a carpark/airfield track is it? (Note my lack of knowledge on American circuits.) I'm just hoping that tracks like the Cleveland CART track don't get the nod.

Double post! Spam! Flood!

Anyway, you wouldn't notice this next bit if I just edited it in to my last post:

Who thinks that the Arc d'Triomphe Circle (hey, someone's gotta name the corners) on Georges V Paris looks out-of-place with all the other angled corners on the track?

Conversely, I don't know too much about Australian locales except for Sandown, Eastern Creek, and of course, Bathurst.

Sir, Sebring was once an airstrip, I believe. Now it's, of course, a very famous race track best known for the 12 Hours of Sebring. I think it's the longest road course, but third only to Road America and Summit Hill (am I right? There's one American track that's 7 or something miles long!).

that's right, it was an airfield, and it rocks as a road course.

Another fact about Sebring, it hosted Formula One racing on a much different configuration back in 1959.

Airfield tracks may not look impressive bt they can actually rock as actual racetracks... Though i'm not sure where i would class Complex String. That was just irritating...

why is there not le mans, if my memory is correct, the last two years, gran turismo 4 read across the tire barrier on the first chicane on the mosluanne straight i think it should be in the game

no im being seriously, and if my memory is right again, the last two years the pescorolo's car have had gran turiso emblum under the wing and on the rear of the tire well, if the ACO didn't support gran turismo, the wouldn't have the banner and wouldn't let pescrolo use the sponsorship. plus they have all these cars that won at le mans, or did exceptionally well at le mans (or in a crash i.e benz clk gtr.) and it would b cool to race them at le mans.

You're right, airfields can make excellent tracks. Here's a map of the Sebring raceway as it was used from 1952 to 1982:

And this is the current configuration, which is considerably smaller (though still around 4.7 miles):

Oh, and I love Complex String. Someone needs to.

Supporting the game doesn't mean the track will be in it.
