Tips :
(On fully tuned cars)
  • Smallest p/w ratio is 1,459
  • Biggest p/w ratio is 3,800
  • 32 cars have p/w ratio under 2,000

Are you going to be dropping these little snippets of statistics on us all week Cyril? I have to keep going back and checking my car to make sure I'm not lagging too far behind. :)

Just tried another car I'd had my eye on but I think I may steer clear of that one. Too much for my unco-ordinated thumbs to deal with. :dunce:

I may try a Skyline next........:guilty:

That smallest ratio is the Skyline. I'm pretty sure a V-spec gets up to 1.458 though.

Nasty. Will you drop a country-statistic, too?

I think I've narrowed down my selection. Here's what I have so far. Across the line at around 155-160mph. Top out at the end from 187-190mph.

21.950
42.766

And no, it's neither a skyline nor a supra or anything Japanese.

EDIT: new splits

I'm tring to stay away from the county with the red dot.I tried the clio man what a hoot this car is to drive,if nothing else comes out of this week for me I have to thank flatout for making me drive this car.I wouldn't have done it if not for the WRS.
T1:25.336
T2:48.277

Oooooh looks like we have some hidden cars! I will have to figure out what runs well here once I get home...

Question. I can't be arsed looking but are any of the Black cars 6-cylinders? I'm pretty they are all 8s, with the obvious exception of the 787b. However if they're not, that'd be a pretty huge advantage and should be disallowed.

Flat-out
6-cylinder used road car

Think that explains it. But, 900hp Supra's and Skyline's are still allowed...:indiff:

First splits

23.266
44.920

Using this till the car I'm looking for appears.

Just got an oil change. And took off TCS because for some reason now I'm not having any problems at all spinning out, even when I don't feather the throttle in places I had to before.

21.856
42.609

This sucks, my car (Japanese but not a Supra or Skyline), is getting T1 in around 24.9 seconds, nearly 2 seconds slower than you lot, fully modded it only ives around 470 Bhp.

I think I'll be car changing.

Don't forget though George-A few who have posted T-times are in Division 1, and are extremely fast. CHange the car to what you want. It is your choice after all.

Hmm... I thought of the 787B, untill I read that "road-car" thing. Cyril probably went through the used-car lists, and thought about the most powerful 6Cyl options...

I gotta find a better car. TVRs seem good, but I want something special. Dammit. Not enough time.

The whole rotary thing of the 787b might have been a problem too :sly:

I actually checked all the black cars, it doesn't matter because they're all 8-cylinders, with the exception the 787b which I think is a 4-rotary.

done about an hour so far, here are some splits

21.138 (21.053)
41.724 (41.4xx)
hoping to get another 0.5 off of my final time but i like what i am using so far...

no splits yet but still working on the car setup.

BUT GUESS WHAT! cyril has done more of his churns and now the board is updated to week 59 :)
and now i rank 3rd in div3 :dunce: not owing to performance but mere loyal presence

thanks for your time cyril 👍 👍 👍

^60 is almost OK too.
Hopefully I should be able to process every race up to week 66 today (but that means no more racing in the Corolla).

Like the track, perfect for this kind of combo; do you want the car that can own the straight or the one that will perform well in the difficult corners?

Not sure about cars, I'd would like the win (:sly:), but I am a major fan of the Clio. If I can get a used one, I might go with that. Unless I can find a good set-up for this awkward handling four-wheel drive car I have...

My first splits in the 300zx:

T1: 0`22.091
T2: 0`43.846

I've tried a Skyline or two, the 3000GT and the TVR...they're a bit dull for me, I like the 300ZX but may not use it in the end. We'll see 👍

Wow. I hadn't read this. And I was just about to post my splits in the 300zx. What do they say about great minds?

T1 - 21.620
T2 - 42.569

Mine is purple :)

Which 300ZX yearmodel? I was looking at the '84 model :P... Actually, at a newer one, but that doesn't matter anymore. Because...

I just received a brand-new two-week PS2 ban. Whoohoo!

*Looks to see whether he could get around it*

300zx for me too. A red one.

21.602

Mine is blue, and only 823hp. Might change for a more powerful one :D

Edit, more tips :
  • Japanese cars : 86%
  • European cars : 11%
  • US cars : 3%

First splits in my 357bhp gorgeous front wheel drive coupe with no wings...

Don't laugh...

26.978
52.546

Now, where's that wooden spoon?

EDIT: Div 2 and DFP for those that need to know.

I tried the 300ZX and thought it was absolutely appauling. Same with the 3000GT, it was one from '98, something like 3000GT Vr-4, don't remember exactly.

And George Morley, I'll be really interested to see how your times are this week. I'm assuming that you're using the NSX. I had a Type S Zero, I liked it a lot, but felt like I'd need to push it way beyond my own limits to be competitive.

But as of now, I'm using the Cebrera Speed Six, which is around 550-585hp depending on how long it's been since an oil change.
